SharePont 2013 Document Library lookup Column Properties not Showing Correctly when editing in Word
Hi
I keep seeing this issue albeit intermittently. I have set up a doc library for my users which has a custom content type (lookup, metadata columns, etc) . They all appear perfectly most of the time except the lookup column. Sometimes is just
decides to display the title field of the current library and not the lookup list title . It is weird as it has been working perfectly for ages given the library is populated with valid documents.
There are some fixes listed here. Has anyone got any experience of this?

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that the lookup column not display well while editing in word.
Did you customize the Document Information Panel?
I recommend you edit your custom document information panel or create a new document information panel, then re-publish it to check whether it works.

Or you can also use the methods in the post you have pasted to check whether it works.
As the limitation of the environment, we could not reproduce the issue in our environment.
I would suggest you open a case to Microsoft Customer Service via Phone.

Why does my note show not show correctly when I open it in my 4th generation iPod?
The instructions on how to add a note or text document to view in my 4th generation iPod nano say merely to add a copy of the text document to the 'Notes' folder shown when viewing my iPod's files in 'My Computor.' I did so with a document, but it came up only showing 'PK' when I opened it on my iPod. I also tried adding a book I had purchased from iTunes to my iPod but it also only came up with 'PK'. I don't really understand what's going on as I came view the file just fine when it's opened on my computor, just not on my iPod.
Books in the epub or iBook format are not compatible with the 4G Nano. As for the text document, what did you give it as a name and extension?
Did you copy and paste text into this note or did you type it out manually?

Update Sharepoint 2013 document library folder columns using document url
Hi All,
I have a SharePoint document library. In that library I am having folder name called Folder1. In this folder Folder1 I have 4 files in it. Now. I need to update the status column of these 4 files in Folder1 folder using the url of these 4 files.
So can anyone help me in to solve this problem. I am using SharePoint 2013 and Visual studio 2012. I want the code in C#.

Sales Document Flow - Ref. Value not showing correct currency
I have a question about document flow currency in ECC6.0. We recented upgraded to ECC6.0 from 4.7 and noticed the changes to document flow. We are a US based company with sales offices in Europe. Our European offices are finding that that document flow in ECC6.0 shows in base currency of USD. Even thought the sales order was entered in EUR euros. Is this intended to be this way; since it is causing our offices in Europe some confusion? I searched forums an SAP notes and did not find any references. Has anyone see this in ECC6.0

If I highlight top line in document flow, I see the following in lower part of screen. This is the currency entered on the sales order.

Thanks for pointing those configuration points out. I checked my system and found the following. I do not see any change documents for the configuration points, so they have been set this way since our implemenation in 2005.
XD02 is customer master change, the customer on my order is set to EUR in sales in distribution tabs.
OX02 - Company Code
1000 Middleton USD...ok
2000 London GBP ok
2100 Munich EUR...ok
2210 Amsterdam EUR...ok
4000 Hong Kong USD...ok
I think OVX5 is not set correctly, should be same as OX02. If I change them, do I need to run an update in the system for old data? Or is it as simple as changing the value here? I'm hesitant to change this not knowing how this will affect the system. Do you know?

Page numbers are not generated correctly when print from Word to PDF
Whenever I print my Word document to PDF, my page numbers do not reflect the page numbers shown in Print Preview.
For example, I have a Word document with 10 pages and after generating it as PDF, the page number shows Page 1 of 1; Page 2 of 2; Page 3 of 3; ......Page 10 of 10.
Please advise what may be the cause and how can I rectify this problem?

I do have some sections breaks on the pages, however the pages are all shown in running sequence even on Preview page.
It is the final generated document that has this problem.
I emailed my colleagues my WORD document and ask them to generate to PDF and they have no issues printing the WORD to PDF and every pages were in running order.

Pages 5 doc not showing comments when exported to Word
I'm using Pages 5 and I like it, but am having a problem. When I try to export a Pages document with comments into Word format, the file looks good on my Mac using Quick View. I can see the comments. It also looks fine when I open it with Pages, the comments still show. But when I email it to someone using Windows, the document does not show any of the comments, not even the highlighting.
I never had any problem with this using the previous version of Pages, where documents exported to Word format and the comments were visible.
I have resorted to copy/pasting my comments, then saving as a PDF, which works, but is sort of clumsy. Is there a better way to do this with Pages 5?Thanks for the additional helpful information, Fruhulda. I didn't realize that they had removed important features in the so-called upgrade.
It sounds as if Pages 5 will work for fast and easy tasks, but Pages 09 will be good to have for heavy-duty work. I guess this explains why Pages 5 didn't overwrite Pages 09 on installation. They are really two different apps now. -
HTML Snippet customized paypal buttons not showing correctly when published
Hi, My customized paypal buttons that i but on my iweb site using html snippets are not displaying correctly. They work in Opera but not in firefox or safari. You inserted an image inside the ShopTable_Lampsfiles folder but it's is deleted every time you publish your page
1) Create an new folder named Paypal in your root folder:
FTP: With a FTP software (like Cyberduck) create a new folder in your server root folder
MobileMe: just make an new folder inside the Folder Sites (iDisk > Web > Sites)
Name this Folder "paypal"
2) insert your image "addtocartbutton.png" inside this paypal folder
Get the new URL of your image , something like

3) Paste this URL in your codes, replace

Document library : rating (stars) feature not showing for folders.

Trying to figure out when rating feature will show starts icon for rating folders.

Please check whether the old library was customized and added some custom folder content types into the old library.
If yes, please try to add the folder content type which was used in the old library into the new library, then create a new folder using the content type, compare the result.
In addition, you maybe need to re-enable rating feature in the new library after you add the content type.

Pages do not display correctly when edit is chosen
Just installed and set up CS5. When I browse to a page it looks just fine until I click on edit, then the page appears with little if any formatting. The nav bars are simply a vertical list at the top of the page and the body of the page is accessed by scrolling down. No background, heading, limited formatting. I have the 5c and my contacts to not save correctly when edited.
When my phone was activated, it brough over my contacts but I noticed it did not save them correctly. I have edited them, but they still do not save the way I edited them. I don't think it would be time cosuming to delete then re-enter the contacts, is there another way to fix this?
Sometimes you have to go back to the homepage and wait a couple minutes for the iPhone to catch up on its own. After that, go back and see if it didn't change. If it didn't then you may have to delete the entire contact.

Creating a Folder Within Form or Document Library & Display the name not in the name column.
I have created a form library that will used to create folders within that. The folder creation is done using an InfoPath Form that has been uploaded to the Form Library. When the new folder was created the name will be displayed at the Name column within
the Form Library. I want to change that to another column like documents or suchlike.
Can it be done using InfoPath 2010 VSTA C# or not? If their are other options available please could you try to inform me!

If you want to show the name of folder in another column, a workaround is that you can create an extra column, then create a SharePoint Designer workflow to set the value of
this column with the name of folder.

Email attachments from SSRS email subscription are not being uploaded to an email enabled SharePoint 2013 document library.
I have tested the library using a standard email (with attachment) to the library and this works fine.
I have monitored the drop folder on the server and I can see both emails being picked up in drop and processed by SharePoint. The email sent from a regular email account is uploaded with the attachment, whereas the email sent via SSRS subscription
email is uploaded and the attachment (report) is missing.An update on this. The email when sending from SSRS subscription is received in the library and the attachment is contained within the .EML file uploaded.
The behaviour that I would like from SSRS subscription emails are to just have the document and not the email.

Can't open MS Word .doc files from SharePoint 2013 document library?
Hello,
I have uploaded some MS Word files with .doc extension into a SharePoint 2013 document library, but they don't open when clicked. I can do a number of things to the file, like view and edit properties, download and other things, but it does not
open up when mouse clicked. There are PDF files in the document library and they open up just fine. Any ideas?
I should add that MS Word 2010 .docx files can not be opened either.

Whether you use office 2013.
Considering this .doc file can be smoothly opened in Office if you downloaded it to your local, it indicates that the Word document and Microsoft Word doesn’t have any problems. The issue may be caused by the compatibility between Office
and your site.
1.Check whether you have the SharePoint OpenDocuments Class add on enabled at first.
Internet Explorer >Tools iron > Manage add-ons >
Choose to Show All add-ons. Find SharePoint OpenDocuments Class and make sure it’s enabled.
2.go to Compatibility view settings > add your SharePoint site to compatibility view
3.go to Internet Options,
Advanced > Reset… > Check Delete personal settings and reset
Security > Trusted sites > sites > add SharePoint sites to trusted sites
4.If it doesn’t work, please open Word, go to Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > Protected View > Uncheck all.
