Sharing Address Books in Outlook Connector

My apologies if this matter has already been dealt with before, but after trying 3 times to make a support call (and being cut-off each time) I have given up in frustration and am asking for help from the group.
We are using JES 2005Q4 and Outlook Connector 7.3.
Some of our users like to share their contacts, and while this is possible using the Connector, I have discovered that if the user is in a different OrgUnit (ie ou=) they dont seem to be able to do this.
I have set up the Directory ACI's and VLV indexes as per the instructions.
Is this possible in this version of JES or is there something else I am missing?

Also I should point out that OC7.3 is not supported with JES 4. You need to be running Comm-Suite-5 and above components as per:

The following is from the RFE comments however from memory this was also included in the UWC/CE patch readme:

A new property is introduced in this fix called "db.sharePabContacts" and it has to be enabled
in the following properties file:
/var/opt/SUNWuwc/WEB-INF/domain/personalstore.properties
By default, this property is set to false. Customers who want to avail this functionality have to
enable this feature by setting it to "true" in the above mentioned properties file:
E.g: db.sharePabContacts = true
With this fix, it is now possible to share the Personal Addressbook with users across different
organizational units but within the same domain and with users whose dn does not begin with uid.
For eg:
A user with a "dn" value :
uid=foo,ou=people,o=domain.com,dc=sun,dc=com
can share his Personal Address Book with a user who has a dn (NOTE: dn is not of the form "uid=..."):
cn=bar,ou=people,o=domain.com,dc=sun,dc=com
Also, users in one organizational unit within the same domain can now share their
Personal Addressbook with users in other organizational units:
For e.g.:
A user in one organizational unit (e.g. ou=employees) in a domain with dn such as mentioned below:
uid=foo,ou=employees,o=domain.com,dc=sun,dc=com
can now share his contacts with a user in another organizational unit (e.g. ou=contractors) within
the same domain such as follows:
uid=bar,ou=contractors,o=domain.com,dc=sun,dc=com

This RFE was implemented in UWC6.2 point-patch 125819-09 and above and also in UWC6.3 patch 122793-18 and above. You will still need to log a support-case (use the online method to avoid having to make a phone call) to get a copy of the UWC6.2 point-patch (125819-14 is the latest).
