Sharing an Adobe web gallery

After creating an Adobe web gallery how do I share it. I have tried to publish it on my apple computer (10.6) but seem to be missing a few steps. Any ways to share a m Adobe web gallery would be great.

Using a shared photo in Web Gallery

My wife and I share a computer and we each have a .Mac account. However, all of our pictures are in iPhoto under her login.
I would like to publish a Web Gallery using my .Mac account and photos shared from her iPhoto library.
However when I include a shared photo in the Web Gallery it imports it into my iPhoto Library, giving me two copies of the same photo, one in her iPhoto library and another in mine, thereby duplicating the photo which is not what I want.
Is there a way to use a shared Photo in Web Gallery and maintain the relationship to the original photo and not duplicate the picture?

No, because as far the the Mac is concerned, it's not yours to Share until it's in your Library.

Cannot see adobe web gallery on active website

I can see adobe web gallery in the dreamweaver test site and it is also visible and working on adobe bridge(where the gallery was created), however, when i upload it to my url it does not work. It tells me "http://designswithoutboundaries.com/Illustration%20Web%20Gallery/Illustrationwebgalleryind ex.html.
"404 error Page not found. Page as been removed, name changed or temporarily unavaible. Please try the following: if you typed the page address in the address bar click the back button in your brouser to try another link use a searcdh engine like google to for information on the internet". My path must be wrong but i don't know how to fix it. I have searched many pages on the web for help but I keep coming up empty. I, also, asked my hosting company, however, they told me they don't help with the design end and I should look for help from a design master. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

After creating Adobe Web Gallery in DW Images do not show.

I can articulate my D.W. problem. I created a website with 4
total pages, 2 have small Adobe Web Galleries I created in Bridge, they both work in Live View and also work when I Preview in Browser, but when I upload to my web site... the 4 pages load but the 2 with Web Gallery load without the images ??? I checked the folders and all are in the proper places ??? Has anyone had a similar problem ??? Any help would be apppreciated THANKS. Pat

Adobe Web Gallery- can't get more than 10 images to show up

I am trying to create a Web Gallery from within Bridge (CS4), but I'm not having any luck getting more than 10 images to show up when I create the Gallery, even though I'm selecting nearly 50 images (all in the same folder) that I'd like to be in the Gallery. Does anyone know if there's a limit to the number of images that can be used in an AWG? I can't seem to find ANY documentation that sheds light on that subject. All I know is that no matter WHAT I do, I can only get Bridge to create a Gallery with TEN images!! Very frustrating. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

First try a purge cache for folder using the menu Tools/purge cache for
folder when having Bridge pointed to the problem folder.
Second try a reset preferences with option key while restarting Bridge.
I wish that were the case - it's only outputing up 10 images...

Sharing to .Mac Web Gallery

I am in the process of creating a web site which will contain video. I have been able to insert hyperlinks in the right places but all of the sudden two things happen; iMovie 08 will not upload (share) to .Mac Web Gallery-getting message saying to verify account settings (it is correct) and also to check internet connection-nothing wrong there either. In the iWeb side of it after inserting the hyperlinks the programs takes its time and comes back with a message saying in effect the same as in iMovie.
Can anyone help with his? Would appreciate it.

"Every time I select Share>.Mac Web Gallery the window comes up showing it is connecting, then a second window comes up saying Already a member? Click Sign In to enter your .Mac member name and password. Since I am already signed in (idisk is functioning fine)I click cancel, sign out, then try to share again. When the second window opens up I click sign in, which I do, and .mac show me signed in, but nothing happens with imovie. If I try to share again, the same windows come up."

Adobe Web Gallery

Hello,
I have created a web gallery using Bridge in DW CS4 to add to my html website (saved it to disc and added a link then). I'm just wondering how I can have the website navigation menu in the gallery page. I can't create any way to get back to the homepage or other pages after visiting the gallery.

Shared view in Web Gallery

Can anyone tell me whether they have been able to post albums to a restricted group of people. I have not been able to load albums and edit names and passwords using the "Album Viewable By" option. Does this work?

It's a ****, you can only have one user per gallery. Or one or every body. You can't do a list of avialable people. I bought it because I thoght it was possible to do multiple users galleries.
Ilife 08 its a ****. iMovie 07 its beter, you can manage the audio volume. Mix songs etc...

Change background in Adobe Bridge Web Gallery

Hi,
I am trying to use a web gallery created with adobe bridge in my webpage. I have inserted gallery in an <iframe>. The gallery shows up just fine. I would like to have the background of the webpage show up rather than the background of the web gallery. How can I do this? Also, I would like to change the appearance of the captions under the pictures. Also the gallery shifts left in interbet explorer. Can this be fixed?

Try opening in Chrome or Firefox and inspecting the elements. You can turn easily locate the CSS that's driving the background and experiment with settings. You get there by right clicking on an element and select Inspect Element from the options. It's much easier than trying to go through all of that HTML code without a style sheet to go along with it.

CS4 Web Gallery, Uploaded gallery does not appear

I was wondering if anyone can help me with the Web Gallery that Bridge CS4 produces.
I have used Bridge CS4 to create a web gallery. After Bridge has finished creating it the result is a folder called Adobe Web Gallery. Inside that folder is an index.html file and a folder called resources. If I double click on the index.html file the web gallery opens in Safari (Mac). So all is good so far, it tests OK from my hard drive.
Then I upload it to my ISP server using Fetch, as I did when using the Photoshop CS3 web gallery automate feature, which is upload the index.html file and the resources folder with all of its content into a folder on my isp members area. I then create a link to the index.html file. When I try the link it produces a blank page in Safari called " Adobe Web Gallery", and the rest of the page is blank.
When I upload the files with Fetch I copy the exact structure as they appeared in the folder on my hard drive. I have tried to upload the gallery directly from Bridge CS4 but Bridge does not seem able to create a connection with my ISP.
In the meanwhile I am still using Photoshop CS3 to do my web galleries, I 'd just like to get the CS4 version operating as it looks like a better product.
I am using a Mac Pro Quad duo 2.8 with 4 G Ram.

Try it this way:
Re-name the folder called Adobe Web Gallery to a name which is more appropriate for its contents; then upload the complete AWG Folder, with all of its contents, to your ISP Server.
Now create a Link (with an appropriate label) on the main index page (Home page) on your site and link that "Link" to the index.html in your new Gallery folder.

Help- how do I make images ready for web gallery??

Hi,
I am trying to create a photo gallery of images within Bridge using the Adobe Web Gallery feature. I have the images I want to use in a folder.What steps do I need to take to get the images saved in the correct format and file size? Also, what files sizes do you recommend for a web gallery? I need to make medium to large thumbnails & large images (when clicked). Here's what I am thinking I need in terms of getting this right:
use Adobe Photoshop/Bridge to create the gallery
jpg for photos
gif for solid colors
file size under 2MB (full image), under 20-30K for (thumbnails), total size of all images under 50K (no more than 50 sec. to download)
screen size: 984x728
screen resolution: 72dpi
If you could help me in any way, shape or form concerning making my images ready for a web gallery that would be most helpful. And if you can refer me to any resources on making a web gallery that'd be awesome. Thank you!

Web Gallery - additional galleries

Hi everyone,
Does anyone know if it is possible to have more than one gallery in an Adobe Web Gallery? I am using Adobe Web Gallery as my website (not imbeded into an existing website) and would like to have more than one gallery to organize my photos. I have noticed that there is a toggle option < 1/1 > at the bottom of the gallery, which some tutorials have said allows you to switch from one gallery to the next, but there is no mention of how to make additional galleries.
Any help that you can provide would be most appreciated.

Bridge CS3 Workspace Adobe Lightroom Web Gallery Creator

A while back I was looking around for an easy way to create sharp looking image galleries with minimal work, and I came across a workspace plug in for Bridge Cs3. If I remember correctly, it was labeled Adobe Lightroom Web Gallery something or another. Anyway, I recently formatted my computer and reinstalled everything, but for the life of me I can find no trace of that handy workspace plug in. Does anyone know where I can find it? It had a bunch of customizable flash galleries as well as a customizable html gallery as well. Any help would be appreciated!
