I use this function every day in my work. Suddenly, as of a couple of days ago, it's broken. Absolute nothing happens any ideas please? All latest updates running latest SL

This has not been a problem. However I just upgraded to Yosemite and now I cannot share as PDF via email; no problem with word or pages but this function seems to be lost

Since Apple has retired all Pages applications prior to v5, they have no concern about backwards compatibility, or the effect of new operating systems, or newer applications on those retired applications. There is no guarantee that any point release to Yosemite, or subsequent OS X release would enable Pages ’09 functional continuity. It simply is not an Apple agenda item.
For those who remain attached to Pages ’09, and do not have their documents duplicated in MS Word documents — and backed up — a sudden failure of Pages ’09 would mean opening those Pages ’09 documents in Pages v5, and risk loss of content due to unsupported features.

Goodreader will allow me to send a PDF via email but my notes wont go?

I do apologize as I am very new to this. I did just download goodreader onto my iPad 2. It is very simple to use but I do have an issue. I was forwarding a PDF via email. I attached a note along with it, just above my signature. The email did go to a PC and the attachment was their, but the note and signature was attached as another attachment as a .txt file. The odd thing is, if I copy the email to myself it shows the note and signature? I hope i explained this situation so that it is understandable and thanks for any advise. Really am a big fan of the Apple products, even have a new iPhone 4 being delivered tomorrow.

Submit PDF via email custom button

I followed the instructions in LiveCycle guide but it is not working completely. I set up a custom button and followed the instructions for Submitting a pdf via email. When I click on the submit button, it pulls the pdf into an email but has left off the email address and the subject.
The format I used was mailto:[email protected]?subject=blah blah blah.

How can i send an created bill as pdf via email?
Can anybody suggest if there is any BADI/User Exit/Configuration exists in order to email Billing document as a PDF attachment while saving from VF01 or VF02?

I receive pdf via email I open and save as which selects device/documents. But how do I retrieve the files and can I create an icon on my z10 which would take me straight to the file where I store all pdf's?

Hello. I have premiere elements 12, & tried to open new project, but nothing happened. All you see is a purple & black ribbon. I could open organizer without any problem! I've accepted all the windows 7 updated. I've even updated my graphics drivers.

Hello. I have premiere elements 12, and have tried to open a new project, but nothing happened. All you see is a purple and black ribbon, then nothing. I can open the organizer without any problem at all!
What I have done so far:
Accepted all windows 7 updates - essential and non esential
I've updated my graphics drivers
I've also deleted and reloaded Premiere Elements from the disc
I reloaded quick time and accepted the latest version
All have no affect.
My system is a windows 7 64 bit PC.
I also have plenty of hard drive space
Cyberlink PowerDirector 11 works fine.
PS - This seems a common complaint about Premiere Elements 12

Look at the issue with and without the antivirus disabled. If that does not help....

and in the 12.0 Folder is the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file that you delete. If that does not work, then delete the whole 12.0 Folder in which the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file exists. Be sure to be working with Folder Options Show Hidden Files, Folders, and Drives active so that you can see the whole path cited.
b. Do the uninstall, reinstall with a ccleaner (regular cleaner and registry cleaner parts) in between the uninstall and reinstall with the antivirus and firewalls turned Off.

When i try to register home sharing on my lap top, when clicking create home share nothing happens at all. What am i doing wrong?

I have just got a new lap top and therefore I want to transfer my i tunes. To be able to do this I need to create home sharing on both lap tops. I have manged to do this on my new lap top, but not my old one. When I add my details in my old one and click creat home sharing, nothing happens at all.
I have itunes 10 on the old lap top.
What am i doing wrong?

Anyone having trouble sharing large images via email with Aperture 3 and OSX 10.7.2?

I am having trouble sharing images via email with Aperture 3. No matter what size I have in the preferences, the image is thumbnail size. The requested size flashes on the email a couple of times but the small size remains and is sent. I am using OSX 10.7.2. Any suggestions how I may send larger sizes?

I have taught many how to use GUI-based computers. The number of controls they are aware of on the screen always progresses, usually linearly with the amount of time they spend actively learning the GUI. Beginners are totally flummoxed that windows can hide other windows. A step beyond that, they are amazed that they can resize windows using the mouse cursor. Those two are trivial to most users today, but they illustrate 1. that there is nothing "intuitive" about the GUI, and 2. that the amount one perceives is dependant on the amount one knows. IME, this has nothing to do with age, and everything to do with experience using a GUI.
Here is a good hint: if you are using a Mac and can't figure out how to do something, look for something to click. If you find something that seems promising, try "{Option}+clicking".
The interface is richer than any one person can master. Frank's statement "most times we all fail to see everything " is, imho, _always_ true. We never see everything, even in the grossly limited resolution of our computer screens.

Pdf via email back in 2011: error stating decoded

I have to gain access to a years worth of files from 2011 that I downloaded from my company back when I workded with them on travel data. I sent them to myself via email, when I left the company for tax purposes and now cannot open up. I have tried multiple versions, a trail version of full adobe. I downloaded Quicktime as one suggested, no luck, I created a copy and removed the pdf ext again with no luck. someone suggested they may be pics not pdf, attempted to open in pic programs, no luck. I am in the middle of an IRS audit and this information is needed, please help. I don't know what to do to get these files to open.

I have a form that is submitting a pdf through email. Usage rights are enabled. When I hit submit I get an error. The operation failed. Any ideas?

You do not have MAPI active on your system. Acrobat uses MAPI to access your e-mail client. Since this is client dependent, it is a risky way to distribute a form.

Sharing pages documents via email in pages

I cant seem to share a document via email unless i have the native apple mail app set as the default mail reader. I use airmail but still would like to share documents straight from pages. is there any workaround?
(I'm pressing 'share' in pages, 'send a copy' and if the native mail app isnt default then there is no option to click email)

Aperture 3 share photos via email outlook (2011) problems

Hello,
I am unable to resolve why I cannot export photos to Outloook (2011) in Aperture 3. I have latest updates for Outlook for Mac 2011, Aperture 3 and OX10.9.2.
When I click on "share" nothing happens. I have preference in Aperture set for Outlook and using med. size photos.
Any help much appreciated.

This seems to be a problem with the sandboxing in Mt. Lion. I do not know of any work-around so far, other than falling back on Mail.app, sorry.

How do I create a button in an interactive PDF, which will forward the PDF via email?

Hi,
So, I have an interactive pdf, with a share button. This button goes to the correct mail program and fills in the subject field.
But I can't find out how you can add the pdf as an attachment in that e-mail.

You need to have Adobe Acrobat/Reader to attach PDF as an email attachment.
Select 'Send file as email attachment' icon from the toolbar (as shown below):
