Sharing calendars on multiple iphones

Hello,
I've recently added 2 iphones to my cellular account for my wife & daughter.  I  subscribe to various sport calendars to synch to my iphone 6 though iTunes.  I would like to also sync those calendars to the 2 new iphone 5Cs so all 3 phones have the same calendars.  What would be the best method?
Thank you!
Jon

Or Export your calendar and use iCloud

  • Hello! How can i setup and what to enable that my secretary has my shared calendar on her Iphone and that she can edit it? We are on Exchange 2010, Outlook 2010, Iphone 4s. Can it be done through some app? Thank you!

Hello! How can i setup and what to enable that my secretary has my shared calendar on her Iphone and that she can edit it? We are on Exchange 2010, Outlook 2010, Iphone 4s. Can it be done through some app? Thank you! I'm trying to avoid creating my exchange activesync account on her Iphone and then sync only my calendar.

Thank you for your time. I'm trying to avoid that because she can then simply turn on mail syncronization and then she could read my mail. Another reason is our password policy, that enforces changing our windows logon password every 90 days. Of course changing windows logon passwords demands changing exchange account logon info (password) on Iphone. I have read somwhere that there was an app but it was removed from app store. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

  • Help viewing shared calendars on my iPhone?

I've seen this same issue in a couple forums but haven't seen a solution yet. Maybe I'm just missing something. I am running outlook 2007, exchange 2003. All of my appointments in my calendar sync nicely between outlook and iphone but we have a shared calendar that doesn't show up in my phone. I keep missing meetings and appointments that are set up for me because I can't view the calendar. Any suggestions? Am I missing something?

If I read correctly, the iPhone won't sync multiple Exchange calendars, since you can only have 1 Exchange account at a time configured on the iPhone. However, it looks like with OS 3+, you can access a shared calendar using CalDAV or .ics. I have not tried it, so I don't know if it will work with Exchange. On the phone: Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendar->Add Account->Other->Calendar: Add Subscribed Calendar or Add CalDAV Account.. Let us know if it works!

As for gdgmacguy, don't be so naive, of course Apple read every comment made on here, and my purpose for posting was pretty obvious, I thought I had missed the obvious ability to add attachments to typed out emails - thanks for the link to Apple feedback for the iPhone.
High ranked members of these forums are occasionally invited to town hall meetings with the wonderful Apple employees that created and manage these forums. As someone who has been able to interact with them directly I can say for certain that there is only a handful of staff. The do not spend all day reading posts and they rely on community policing. Apple does however read every submission to the feedback channel.

  • Syncing a single calendar to multiple iPhones

I have a situation that Im hoping has an easy solution...
My fiance and I both have 3G iPhones. My phone is synced to my work computer as well as our home machine via MobileMe while my fiance's is linked solely to the home computer via USB sync. We each have separate accounts on our home computer so that we can manage our calendars and contacts individually.
It would be nice to have the ability to sync to some sort of a 'shared' calendar however, where we can keep events that pertain to us both, without having to enter them into each calendar separately. Is there any way to continue syncing with our individual calendars as well as a shared one (Google Calendar?)?
Im thinking not, but wanted to check. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

(something like) 'turning on the new account, will replace the other accounts info?!?!'
Yes, if you add the MobileMe calendar sync to an iPhone that has existing calendar data, you'll lose what's already on it. I suppose the MobileMe sync tool needs to start from an empty iPhone in order to make sure the events are pushed correctly. I presume (but haven't tried myself) that if you back up her iCal calendars, then turn on MobileMe sync on her iPhone and wait for everything to sync up, then restore her calendar; that you'll be okay. The usual disclaimers apply, of course.
What you seem to want to end up with is seperate calendars. They'll all sync over MobileMe, but she can select only hers in the iPhone.
The 'family pack' offers no addition benefits in this area
That's correct. The Apple sales guy told me I'd need the Family Pack to do this, when in fact the Family Pack is basically a quantity discount for seperate MobileMe accounts -- you can't merge or share calendars between Family Pack accounts.

  • How do I create a shared calendar over multiple phones

I wanted to create a shared calendar for my wife's and my iPhone.  That way we can sync work events.  Anyway I can do this with iCal or do I need to find a different app?

    Hey scwalters101,
You can create a shared calendar and use the iPhone's Calendar application for viewing, creating and changing it. In order to do so you also need a calendaring service. Many are available, including Apple's iCloud. See this page for information about iCloud calendars -
    iCloud: Calendar overview
This article explains how to manage your iCloud calendar with the Calendar application -
iCloud: Using iCloud Calendars with Calendar and iCal - Apple Support
And this article gives an idea of the other features of iCloud -

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

  • Sharing calendars between 2 iPhones, 1 Outlook and 1 iCal.

    Hello all,
my wife just got an iPhone. We'd like to share (publish) a couple of calendar categories. I'm on an Mac and iCal, she's using Outlook 2007. I use Plaxo to sync multiple versions of iCal but can't seem to figure out how we can share calendars.
I tried using http://www.icalx.com to publish a calendar, but when she tries to subscribe she gets an OLE error that it isn't a valid .ics file.
    Any ideas? Thanks!

When you first sync her iPhone you should see a message asking if you want to overwrite or merge the calendars. Also what you can do is create a calendar in iCal for her and then set the INFO tab to sync to that calendar from her iPhone.
You can do the same for contacts.

  • Start to finish, how to setup shared calendar on 2 iphones...

I need to share a work calendar with my boss. We both have an iPhone, I am getting conflicting information on how to do this. Do I need to create a new gmail or yahoo, also when will the calendar update? If I add something will it automatically update on his end as well? Does the push work under 3G or wifi?
    So confused, please help.
    Jennifer

I log into icloud.com with a computer's browser.  In the Calendar page, click the calendars button.  There you can designate which calendars to make sharable.

  • Sharing Calendar Items via iPhone?

If I use the calendar feature of my iPhone, is there any way I can send calendar items to other iPhone users or MS Outlook users?
(If not, there really ought to be. That's a pretty basic tool Outlook users really like)

Not possible by email either but a good feedback request to provide Apple via their iPhone Feedback link.

  • How to stop icloud from sharing files w multiple iphones

My husband and I both have iphones on a family plan. However everytime one of us downloads an app or itunes or change a contact in our phone, it changes the other phone as well. I tried turning off icloud in the phone but it still does it. It is extremely annoying, I would appreciate any help

we cannot then find each others's devices anymore.
Yes, you can. Just log in to the "Find my iPhone" app using the Apple ID for the device you want to find.
Why do you need to find each others devices though? Do you lose them often?
If you're actually using "Find my iPhone" as a way to keep track of each other, then you should be using the "Find my Friends" service and app on your devices.

  • How to Read Outlook Exchange Shared Calendars on iPhone?

My company uses microsoft outlook exchange and I have been using iphone syncing with this outlook exchange calendar. Besides my own calendar, on the outlook exchange, I have access to another shared calendar. I want to be able to read this shared calendar on my iPhone but cannot figure out how to do it. Previously I learned from other postings that iPhone doesn't support it.
The new OS 3.0 support CalDav and I am wondering if this will enable me to read the shared calendars of my outlook exchange on my iPhone. Does anybody know how to do it? If the current firmware solely doesn't support it, might there are other ways to do it with supports of other apps? How about through Google Calendar? Or there are any apps can automatically copy the contents in the outlook exchange shared calendars to my outlook exchange calendar?
Does anybody have solutions? Many thanks!

The shared MS Exchange calendar is ICS format which SHOULD be able to be added as "Add Subscribed Calendar" in the Settings/Mail, Contacts, Calendars/Add Account/Other screens on the iPhone.
I'm tring to add a 2nd Exchange Outlook calendar only and need it to sync over the air.
Just can't find the correct way to get it entered to work? The link sent by Outlook (I'm running 2007) when you send the invite doesn't work and copy/paste to the server name is also a bust. Have tried direct copy paste, cutting off the webcal:// prefix, etc. Just won't authenticate.
No documentation that I can find on either Apple or MS site to validate the exact syntax required.
I can hit the https link provided by MS on my Safari iPhone browser after entering my MS Online ID and access the calendar online. And yes tried several of MS Online IDs that I have as UID/PW in the iPhone config screens without success.
A little more info on my config.
    3gs 32mb
Have exchange acct as primary email with email contacts and calendar working
Have CalDAV link to my wife's Google calendar working
Have several other subscribed calendars (ics) working: US Holidays, AmericanHistory.com, and my TripIt profile.
I DO NOT want to use MobileMe to make this work. Life would be so easy if iPhone would just support multiple Exchange accts!
Funny thing I just noticed...spell check on forum IDs "iPhone" and "MobileMe" lol

  • How can i add a shared exchange calendar to my iphone

    Hello,
We are on an Exchange 2010 email server, use Outlook 2010 clients and corporate policy does not allow for use of the iCloud environment due to the nature of our business.  We would like to be able to add shared calendars to our iPhones but so far have been unsuccessful.  We are a windows shop and currently only have one Mac in the organization; and that Mac isn't on the domain. Can this bee done, if so can someone please point me in the right direction.. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated even if it's just to say that it can't be done.
    Thanks again,
    J

Thanks Templeton, This led me to http://contact-outlook.itrezzo.com/2014/04/iphone-exchange-server-contacts.html which is what we actually ended up doing.. Thank you very much..

  • How to sync MS Exchange shared calendars and allow permissions?

    Hi Everyone,
We have a SBS2008 and MS Exchange with which we have a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) policy to work. We are having some issues in syncing shared calendars for conference room bookings as well as some other issues. We have an iPhone 5s and everyone has updated to iOS 8.
How do we allow one of our managers to access a shared calendar on their iPhone to book a room from a shared calendar and ensure that that is reflected across the calendar?
    Thank you.

    Hello,
Are the Rooms you wish to book stored as Resources in Microsoft Exchange?
I have an app in the store called Roomr which connects to Exchange and allows you to view and book meeting rooms. This would enable your managers to book meeting rooms in advance and the data is stored in Exchange so it will sync with all users.
I know you want to use the Calendar app provided, but Roomr has the added benefit of providing you with an at-a-glance availability of meeting rooms, enabling you to see which ones are free instantly, without having to check multiple schedules.
It's free to try out and might help solve your problem https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/roomr-check-meeting-room-availability/id72284240 4?ls=1&mt=8
