Sharing in Premiere Elements 10

I am trying to share/export my video in Premiere Elements 10.
The video is 6:35 long, but only 1:07 will export. I've tried exporting it through multiple methods. The workbar area is set to the end of the project.
Why could this be?
Thank you.

Thanks for the reply.
What players are playing the original music files (.mp3) without problems before they ever see Premiere Elements? If you take the .wav files converted from the original .mp3, do these .wav files play OK on that same player before they ever see Premiere Elements?
What program did you use for the conversion of the .mp3 to .wav.....iTunes or the free audio editor named Audacity?
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
At this point, with the .wav, where is the audio quality a problem....in the Edit area playback or in the playback of the export or both? What player is involved?
Let us try this...go to Libraries/Documents/Adobe/Premiere Elements/12.0 and delete all the files that you find there in the Media Cache Folder. Open a new project and import the audio files. Watch the bottom of the workspace for the appearance of a conforming bar. If you see one, let the conforming go to completion before moving forward, even if you have to import one audio file at a time.
Please remind me what computer operating system is involved. I have been assuming Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit.
Also, if most of the poor quality sound is happening after export, then we need to dig into the export settings in detail.
Thanks.

  • Any problems using different versions of photoshop elements (7.0) and premiere elements (8.0)?

I already own Photoshop Elements 7.0 and am now considering buying Premiere Elements 8.0. Does anyone know if I will have any version problems with this, especially with the Organizer? Do I need to upgrade PSE to 8.0 as well?

1- A forum participant tested that slideshow workflow from Photoshop Elements 7 to Premiere Elements 8 and verified that it worked for him.
2 - General Organizer use is probably an entirely different question.  I have not attempted that myself and don't know anyone who has. It seems doubtful that a specific catalog file could be shared between Premiere Elements 8 and Photoshop Elements 7.
3 - Since you mention that you are interested in upgrading to Premiere Elements 8, I recommend that you read relevant FAQs from the FAQ forum here, starting with

  • Premiere Elements 11 "installing Shared Technologies" error during install

How do I fix the "The installation process has encountered an error whil installing Shared Technologies.  Please restart your system and try again." error while installing Premiere Elements 11?  Photoshop Elements 11 installed fine, but I keep receiving this error while trying to install Premier Elements 11.
    I have already tried:
    Install from CD
    Install from C: drive root
Install from Adobe website trial version
Install from CD, after clean boot
In each case it installs at the same place with the same error.
From searching these forums and doing a web search it seems like a common problem with no clear solution.

I do not know if what I am about to report will help or confuse the Premiere Elements users further on this Shared Technology error encountered during Premiere Elements installation, but here is hoping that something in the following experience might be of help to someone....
I entered your thread with the Shared Technology error (targeting Elements Organizer/Data 7) when trying to install Photoshop Elements 10 and Premiere Elements 10 on a new Windows 8 64 bit computer. Unlike the others I had no problems installing Premiere Elements 11 and Photoshop Elements 11 from the Adobe installation disc a week earlier on this brand new Windows 8 64 bit computer. Short of re-formatting the hard drive, I did everything plus with no luck in getting versions 10 installed on this Windows 8 64 bit computer. So, I decided to focus on working with the already installed version 11 programs.
I headed for Premiere Elements 11 to create a DVD-VIDEO format on DVD disc and to my horror found that the program's burn dialog had no burner(s) in the burner location (either the build in one or an external burner (USB). But, Premiere Elements 11 burn to folder did work. On the other hand, I found that Photoshop Elements 11 Organizer File Menu feature to burn (datadisc) to CD or DVD did recognize these burners and that burn to feature worked. I went through the typical drill for those in this type of situation and nothing remedied the problem. So, I decided to go for the deactivate/uninstall/reinstall route. Well,  now Premiere Elements 11 reinstallation ran into the same fate as Premiere Elements 10, that is, it ran into the Shared Technologies error related to installation of the Elements Organizer and Premiere Elements 11 would not install after going through everything decribed in this thread, excluding re-formatting the hard drive.
    1. Deactivated/uninstalled Photoshop Elements 11 and Premiere Elements 11.
    2. Apply the cclearer: cleaner and registry cleaner. And, then went into the Registry and deleted all related to Photoshop Elements 10/Premiere Elements 10 as well as Photoshop Elements 11/Premiere Elements 11.
    3. Disabled firewall, antivirus, spyware...
    4. Tried to reinstall Premiere Elements 11, using the installation files (setup.exe in 64 bit folder) copied to hard drive. No go. Same Shared Technology error.
    5. Started deleting programs that I had installed after the initial successful installs of Photoshop Elements 11 and Premiere Elements 11 (these programs included iTunes, VLC player, and ImgBurn). Still no go for the Premiee Elements 11 install, and same Shared Technologies error.
FINALLY, Photoshop Elements 11 and Premiere Elements 11 got successfully installed on this Windows 8 64 bit computer according to the following scenario (iTunes, VLC player, and ImgBurn still removed from system...firewall, antivirus, spyware protection re-enabled)
    1. Attached a USB burner to computer via one of its USB 3.0 ports.
    2. Inserted the Adobe installation disc into the burner tray of this burner in order to install the program(s) via the installation disc.
    3. Selected install for Photoshop Elements 11. It went to completion without problem.
    4. Selected install for Premiere Elements 11. It went to completion without problem. And, now the burn dialog/burner location did recognize the computer's built in burner and my USB external burner.
None of the above may have had anything to do with what finally triggerd the version 11 installation processes to go to completion. But, I add this to the mix of how Photoshop Elements 11/Premiere Elements 11 finally got installed in Windows 8 for the user.
And, I would offer this suggestion to those who have already installed Premiere Elements 11 on their Windows 8 64 bit. As soon as possible make sure you have burners listed in the burner location of the program's burn dialog.

  • Premiere Elements 11 Shared Technologies error DW020 Adobe Flash Player 10 plug in missing.

I am unable to complete the install of Adobe Premiere Elements 11 on my Windows7 Pro 64 bit system.  When the installation process gets to installing Shared Technologies I get an error message "The installation process has encountered an error while installing Shared Technologies.  Please restart your system and try again."  Restarting the system gives the same result again.  The download assistant program identifies two errors: DW050--Adobe Flash Player 10 ActiveX: Install failed, and DW020: Adobe Flash CS5.5 depends on Adobe Flash Player 10 plugin to be installed.
My system currently has Adobe Flash player 11.7.700.224 installed.  I can find a download of Adobe Flash Player 10 but where do I put it?  Do I need to uninstall Adobe Flash Player 11.7... ?  Is there another solution?

This install problem seems to be solved.  I uninstalled every Adobe program, but still couldn't get past the Shared Technologies issue.  Then I went to C://Program Files (x86)/Common Files/Adobe/ and deleted all recent folders & files.  This seemed to do it.  Both Premiere Elements 11 and Photoshop Elements completed installation.  Now on to figuring out how to force Windows7 64 bit to run these programs in 32 bit simulation mode.

  • Premiere Elements 11 gives error "encountered a problem installing shared technologies" and does not install.

On what computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 11 running on? For now I will assume Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit. Are you installing the program from
an installation disc or from installation files?
The Shared Technologies error is an old story that afflicts several versions of Premiere Elements on several different computer operating systems. My encounters with this error
have been using installation disc for the program involved.
There are numerous home remedies. The one that has been working for me lately and consistently has been the disabling of the OOBE Folder which is found
    Local Disk C
    Program Files (x86)
    Common Files
    Adobe
and in the Adobe Folder is the OOBE which you disable by changing the folder name from OOBE to OLDOOBE.
Please let us know if that worked for you.
    Do not give up.

Hi, getting an error msg on premiere elements 11 when trying to share via youtube/facebook/vimeo. All sharing gets the same error msg. I have shared previousely with no problem via these sites, it has just stopped working now. msg shows "Error. Online services encountered an error, the service will now be terminated or paused if possible"
I have tried last night and again today, still with the same error msg. It is at the start of uploading process. Any ideas??

Lots of Premiere Elements complaints of late similar to yours regarding uploading to YouTube from within the program.
At the present time, I am having the same problem as you with Premiere Elements 11 Windows 7 64 bit and Publish+Share/Online/YouTube. This appears to be a YouTube or Adobe or both issue not a user error.
John Nash earlier today wrote in another thread with suggestions to resolve this issue. At this time, I would advise against those suggestions, especially the one which involved deletion of the Web Folder in the SC Folder in the Local Disk C/User directory. It did not resolve the issue, and, if no backup, leaves you with missing presets.
For now, export your Timeline to a file saved to the computer hard drive and from there upload the file to YouTube at the YouTube website.
See Publish+Share/Computer/AVCHD/ with Presets appropriate for YouTube to get a H.264.mp4 file for the upload.
Further news as it becomes available.
    Thanks.

  • Am trying to reinstall photoshop elements/premiere elements 9 back on my pc but when it gets to installing shared technologies it freezes and then rolls back.

I don't know what is going on with this. Photoshop worked but the premiere elements suddenly kept freezing so I un installed and am trying to reinstall but keep having the same issue. This is from a purchased dvd set. At one point when it got to this phase, the dvd started making an odd noise then roll back. I try again and again with no odd noise but still the same issue. It's not the pc I've had that remotely checked and other stuff installs. What gives? I NEED this fixed pronto

What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1 running on? For now, for the details below, I will assume Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit.
You are experiencing the known Shared Technology installation error syndrome which can hit any version of Premiere Elements on any computer operating system. There is no one fix. Lots of home remedies.
The fix that has worked for me consistently lately is this:
    Local Disc C
    Program Files (x86)
    Common Files
    Adobe
and in the Adobe Folder is the OOBE Folder. Rename the OOBE Folder from OOBE to OLDOOBE. Close out of there and try for the Premiere Elements 9 installation again. (Do not forget to do the Premiere Elements 9.0.1 Update after you have finished the Premiere Elements 9 installation.)
The following is a sampling of what some others have gone through with this particular error

  • PREMIERE ELEMENTS 11 SHARED TECHNOLOGIES

HELP HELP re Premiere Elements 11 wont install when it hits Shared Technologies.  I had the same problem with PS Elements 11 but
after several days of trying, I got it installed.   Seeing so many people with the same problem worldwide, I dont understant why Adobe
havent produced  an Instruction, Direction or a PATCH to rectify the problem.  So close to fecking the whole lot out and getting my money back.
Does anybody in ADOBE watch or pay attention to the Forums or for that matter, COME UP WITH A SOLUTION.  Help me please as I am not
    computer literate.  Cheers BEN

    Ben,
I have been done this road with Premiere Elements 11 and 10 on Windows 8 64 bit. Apparently the Shared Technologies error is not confined to a particular version or operating system as far as I have been able to figure out. Many have tried various fixes. There does not seem to be one fix for the issue so best go through the suggestions systematically until you find the one that will work for you. In my case, I thought that moment would never come. It did. My fix seemed to have come when I decided to use an external burner for the installation disc rather than the ripped files or the laptop burner. If it has not been posted already, this is one of the links that documented some users problems with this error, including my own.

  • Premiere Elements 8 "Could not connect to remote server" when sharing to YouTube

I'm trying to share my Adobe Premiere Elements 8 video to YouTube through the task panel, but I get a "Could not connect to remote server" message. My computer is connected to the Internet. I notice at the bottom of the message there is "Open the Opera Help" and "Go to Opera's on-line support desk." I don't have Opera on this computer, so maybe that's it?

    No. You don't need Opera.
Have you gone to Edit/Preferences and ensured that your Web Services are up to date?
Otherwise, it could be that YouTube changed settings on us again. If that's the case, you'll need to post to it manually, per the FAQs to the right of this forum.

  • Sharing files between Adobe Premiere Elements and Adobe Photoshop Elements

This question was posted in response to the following article: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/premiereelements/using/WS72D069B5-1663-44a9-BB4E-8182DB2EE6C6. html

    msnexplorer
I suspect that this latest set of details is clouding the way to success.
Typically we would be looking at integrated Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements set. I thought that we were working with Photoshop Elements 8 and Premiere Elements 8.0/8.0.1 which would considered an integrated set.
Let approach this from a different angle.
Have you any idea what version of Premiere Elements your project.prel came from? Reflecting back, the concept of integrated combos of Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements did not appear until the combo of Photoshop Elements 5 and Premiere Elements 3.0/3.0.2. Along with that came the perk of the Premiere Elements' Break Apart Elements Organizer Slideshow to do just that for the slideshow that it received from the Photoshop Elements side.
Unless you have additional details that would support us getting to the goal, I think that the path of least resistance might be:
    a. if you can open the project.prel in question in Premiere Elements 10, then do so.
    b. After you have the slideshow on the Timeline, then use the Split Clip (Scissors Tool) to cut the slideshow at the spots where you want to insert additional pictures. You may have to add back transitions and such.
The Break Apart Elements Organizer Slideshow would have been perfect for you to make your edits of the slideshow in Premiere Elements. But that command is only available in Premiere Elements under certain condition:
    a. You must be dealing with integrated combos of the programs, example, 5/3, 6/4, 7/7, 8/8, 9/9, 10/10, 11/11. There are a few loopholes in all that but I do not see them helping us at this time.
    b. You would have had to Output the Photoshop Elements to Premiere Elements with the Photoshop Elements Slideshow Editor "Send to Premiere Elements or Edit with Premiere Elements Editor".
Bottom line: if your task is going to involve more than the version 8 combo, then I think it best to try to open the project.prel that you have and break it apart yourself with the Split Clip Tool of Premiere Elements.
And, did you say if this project.prel does open in Premiere Elements 10 without any missing media (Media Offline) messages?
We will be watching for further information and developments. Please let me know if I have misinterpreted any of your information.
    Thanks.
