Sharing music between ipod, iphone, and samsung touch screen cp

i have an ipod and an iphone.  how do i share music between the two with a samsung touch screen cp
it shows up in the library but will not share with either iphone or ipod

- For this:
Thank you very much!  I just need to be sure my texts from my work iPhone don't show up on the iPod. I can turn off the iMessage app
Go to Settings>Messages>Send and receive and make sure you emaill address and phone number do not appear. Delete them if necessary. You can then add her own email address so you can message her.
- The iPod will only use a phone number for Messages if the Account used to set up the iPod includes an iPhone and the iPod has iOS 6. You can't add non-iPhone number to Messages on an iPod.

  • Sharing Music between iPods/iPhones?

    Good Afternoon!
So, here's the deal. My wife has an iPhone and my daughter has an iPod touch. They each have seperate Apple IDs. My daughter has purchased "tons" of music that my wife wants to have available on her iPhone, if possible.
Is there any way that my wife's apple ID and iPhone can add my daughter's music? They use the same Windows 7 computer for iTunes under different user names.
I do have a network shared drive that can be used but right now, all of the iTunes libraries are local on the laptop.
    Thanks!

Thats a great question! i have 2 ipod and i want to share songs among both of them! and those websites given really suck i hate going through the downloading processes! Most of the time they dont work or you have to pay big money, and im not one of those people who will pay for a service to help out!Is their a way we can get some help and not any bolagny websites that dosent help us get our info?A website would be okay but i want something that actually Works! Please help !?!?!?!

  • Is there a way to stop sharing apps between my iphone and my daughters ipad. We share the same email and itunes account.

is there a way to stop sharing apps between my iphone and my daughters ipad...we share the same email and itunes account.

You can keep the same Apple ID for purchases, but set up her own iCloud account for email and syncing.
You can easily and effectively use the same ID for purchases.
What you do is use the apple ID you have been using for app/book/movie/music purchases. In Settings > Store, make sure you are using your usual apple ID.
Then, set up an icloud (@me.com) account for you on your phone, and one for your daughter on her phone. In Settings > iCloud, make sure each of you are using your new iCloud accounts, and not your Apple ID.
Also, in Settings > Messages > Receive At, make sure you are using your iCloud accounts
This way, all of your purchases are using one account, and you can effectively use iCloud.

  • Splitting music between iPod, iPad and iPhone

    Hello all!
As the owner of all three of the above devices, I wonder sometimes what is the best way to split music between them. I have my entire library on my iPod classic but wonder how I should split things between my iPad and iPhone...Any advice?

You can sync whatever you like to each device.
You can sync by playlist, genre, album, artist, etc.

  • Home Sharing: Music App on iPhone and iPad skips from track to track without playing.

Home Sharing is working from my iMac, OSX 10.9.3, iTunes 11.2.2(3) to my AppleTV, 6.1.1. I can see my iTunes library and play/view music, video and photos. No problems.
I have problems when trying to do the same on my iPhone and iPad.
Using the Music app on my iPhone 4, iOS 7.1.1 I frequently have to re-connect to my iTunes library. However nothing will play in any mode. It just skips from one tune to the next right through to the end of the list without playing any of them.
Using the Music app on my iPad 2, iOS 7.1.1 connecting to my iTunes library is more reliable. Single tunes play through, albums & playlists play through all tunes in sequence. However if I select shuffle then it just skips from one tune to the next right through to the end of the list without playing any of them.
I have only tried sharing to my iPhone/iPad in the last few days so I have no experience of doing this on previous versions.

    Today
Music on iPad does not even give me the Sharing option.
Music on iPhone offers Sharing and does indeed connect to my iTunes library. It has all my albums on display. Whoopee you think, is ths a breakthrough? Unfortunately, NO. Play any album and it just skips from one tune to the next right through to the end of the list without playing any of them.
Please bear in mind that no infrastructure has changed during these posts. Same network, hardware and software.
    Conclusion:
Home Sharing is useless except between iMac and AppleTV.
Is there anyone out there in Apple land who can convince me otherwise?

  • Question About Sharing Apps Between My iPhone and My Wife's iPhone

Hi, I have a question about downloading apps to my iPhone.
I ordered two iPhone 3g's - one for my wife and one for me, and I've discovered that when I download an app (even free ones) on my iPhone and then later sync it to iTunes, my wife cannot put it on her phone. However if I download it on iTunes on my computer and later sync it to my phone, then my wife is able to sync it to her phone as well. It's no big deal when they are free because she can just go get it if she wants it. I haven't purchased any apps yet, but is there a way to be able to give my wife apps that I purchase on my iPhone? Or do I need to purchase all of my [pay] apps and songs on iTunes on my computer to ensure we both have access? Or do I have it all wrong completely LOL?? This rights management stuff is confusing.
Thanks in advance for your help,
    Jimmy

I had my iTunes account and phone before I got my wife's hers. When I first started, I synced hers from her account on my computer brought in my libraries and authorized her phone as one of the 5 allowed. She had all purchased apps and music. Over time we each bought music or apps on our seperate accouts. Of course, we told each other about cool apps or music we bought and wanted on our phone. When I went to sync iTunes was going to delete all music and apps and sync with the library I was logged into. Didn't want that, only work around I have found is to copy new music or new apps from one library to the other. Updating on the phone is also difficult because you can't switch between accounts so updates have to be done at the computer for apps bought under different accounts. I am sure there is a better way to do this and ask for an insight anyone would have. I hope it works out.

  • HT4557 Sharing music between home iMac and iPad

    Hi,
i have turned on Home Sharing on my iMac and iPad but I cannot see the More option leading to the Shared option in my iTunes.  Any suggestions?
    Thanks

First of all - The More button is in the Music App at the bottom of the screen - not in iTunes.
Launch iTunes on the Mac and go to iTunes>Preferences>Sharing. Do you have Share Library on Local Network selected?
In the iPad settings go to Music>Apple ID. Are you signed in?

  • Sharing iTunes between an iPhone and iPad is causing me grief

I have an iPhone 3Gs and an iPad 3G. Whenever I sync either of them, iTunes dumps all of my iPad apps onto my iPhone and vise versa. So I have to manually go and delete all the iPhone apps from my iPad and my iPad apps from my iPhone.
Is there a way to stop this from happening? Shouldn't iTunes know to keep the two devices and their apps separate?
Much thanks in advance for any help.

Not sure if this it the best way, but once you hook up either your iphone or your ipod to itunes there is a tab called Apps under the device where you can manually check which apps you want to synch to that particular device. (uncheck the ones you don't want on that device.) Do the same on the other device and it should stay that way next time you hook up each device. You can do this after the initial automatic synch.

  • Syncing music between macbook, iphone and iPad via iCloud

Question: I downloaded an album to my Macbook. I thought since I use icloud that it would be available on my iphone and ipad, but it isn't. How do I get it on those devices? Thanks.

You will need to enable automatic downloads on the iPad and iPhone in order for the songs to be automatically be available
    Settings App
    iTunes & App Stores
This only works for purchases made once this is enabled.
For previous purchases launch the iTunes app on the iPad or iPhone and select more and then purchased to download.

  • How to transfer music between Old iphone and new iphone

The problem is that I don't have my computer that had all my music anymore so I would need to do it without a computer. I just got the 5s and want to get my music from my 4s. I know you can't do it with I cloud but any ideas?

Can't do it without a computer.
iTunes includes an option to transfer all iTunes content that was purchased/downloaded from the iTunes Store from an iPod or iOS device, but this is for iTunes content that was purchased/downloaded from the iTunes Store only.
First you need to authorize the computer to be used with your iTunes account or Apple ID with iTunes.
With the old iPhone connected and without syncing, at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of the iPhone.

  • Sharing music between iPods with different iTunes accounts

My wife bought a 2nd gen (?) 4G nano, plugged it into our home computer and synced it to my daughter's iTunes account. However, she wants to create her own iTunes account ... she doesn't care for all of my daughter's music, and she wants to download/listen to songs on her own iPod that might not be appropriate for my pre-teen daughter. However, she would like to keep some of the songs that are in my daughters iTunes account. Is this possible?

  • Can I share my downloads between my iphone and my touch?

I'm wondering if I will be able to share my downloads between my devices.  I've send references to indicate that I will be able to share them between my computers but in addition to the Iphone I also have a touch which I have interfaced to my home entertainment system as well as a New IPad.  Can I load a copy of all my purchases onto these seperate devices as well as my PC?  I am also wondering the same question with regard to Apps

You can sync the songs to as many of your devices/computers as you like.

  • Sharing music between ipods

My daughter asked me if she could put some of the songs from her itunes library - some purchased on itunes, some from cd - on her friend's ipod...we connected friend's ipod to our imac...it mounted and was visible, but we couldn't drag any songs onto it...our ipod is not synced to automatically transfer songs, we manage that manually...not sure how friend's ipod is set up...any way to do this? thanks for any help.

I don't think you will be able to put DRM'd songs from the iTunes Store on the friend's iPod, because the friend's computer (to which that iPod is synced) is not one of the (up to) five authorized computers for your iTunes account.
If the friend's iPod is formatted for Windows, it may not work. This Apple FAQ says using a Windows-formatted iPod on a Mac is not officially supported.

  • Sharing apps between your iPhone and iMac

How do you share apps from your iPhone to your iMac?

If there is a Mac counterpart to an iPhone App you want, then yes you have to purchase them separately.
