Sharing several pictures in Twitter

With the latest version of iPhoto, it is impossible to share more than one picture in Twitter at a time as we get a message: "No more than one picture cannot be published to Twitter at a time. Please pick just one picture" (it is a translation from Spanish, so the message may not be literal).
While this was a constraint in the past, it is no longer, and sharing more than one picture at a time should then be allowed by iPhoto.

Since Lightbeam was installed, I get no pictures in Twitter. No icons, no graphics, no pictures. My same login in Google Chrome works perfectly. This problem affects Firefox 25, Aurora 27.0a2, Nightly 28.0a1 (2013-11-04). I have graphic screen shots but there's no way to add them here.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

If it works in Safe Mode and in normal mode with all extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) disabled then try to find which extension is causing it by enabling one extension at a time until the problem reappears.

Technology for instant messenger, file sharing and picture sharing

As part of project(for studies), our team is working on software which had features of instanst messenger, p2p file sharing and picture sharing and support for storing profiles, offline messages. Although we had some idea abt how to proceed.....but we need to know which java technology would be best suited for various aspects for efficiency....
1. GUI
2. Networking
3. Security (which class is suited for authentication)
4. File Sharing(which files support is provided)
5. Picture sharing(and formats and size supported)
anything missing we need to consider.............
and we r useing JDBC...or shud achicives be better option

Have synchronised iPad, iPhone, Windows Laptop and Windows Desktop. iPhone holds 500 Contacts whilst other devices only sync 170 Contacts. I have Shared several Contacts to get them over to iPad, Laptop and Desktop. Contacts then appear twice

I have Shared several Contacts via Message from iPhone. On creating new Contact from each Message, each Contact appears twice on iPad, Laptop and Desktop via iCloud. Assume that a Setting has locked out the Contacts other than the 170 that do appear as duplications indicate that each Contact already exists on the three devices. Appreciate any advice to see all 500+ Contacts on all devices.

Audiobooks normally only allow one download per purchase; this is also the case with alert tones, ringtones, and some movies. They need to be moved manually; if desired, you can network the computers and use file sharing instead of a thumbdrive.

Attach several pictures to an e-mail?

Is it possible to attach several pictures to the e-mail using iPhone? If so, how do I do it?

Yes.
With the Camera Roll or Photo Album selected, select the icon at the bottom left of the screen with a right facing arrow. Select each photo you want to attach to an email - a red circle with a white check mark will be placed on the selected photo. Select the Share button followed by selecting Email.
If you have already started composing an email and you want to add a photo, select the same icon at the bottom of the Camera Roll or Photo Album, select the photo or photos you want to add to the email followed by Copy instead of Share. Return to the email message and select the body of the message to bring up the paste selection.

Does anyone has worked with sharing image URL on Twitter from Adobe AIR Desktop. I am able to post data but with multiple libraries still not able to post images over twitter. Any help will be appreciated.

I can't use scout because my other systems are 32 bit and it doesn't seem to be working with them.
The problem seems to come from the fullscreen mode from adobe air since in windowed mode it runs smoothly (even on a 7 years old notebook).
I even have 3 different rendering options in fullscreen and all of them are lagging (no scale, show all, exact fit). Not sure what the issue can be when even the no scale mode lags, so i'm guessing it's related to the fullscreen.interactive mode of air.
edit: Or not.
I managed to get it run smoothly by using CPU mode as renderer option for adobe air.
Not sure what the issue was with direct but i will test it some more (on the other computers as well) and will get back to you.
edit²: it only helped on one computer. The mac still has big slowdowns in fullscreen and the core2duo now has screen tearing with that option.
edit^3: I tried using the fullScreenSourceRect on the stage for hardware scaling. It seems to run smoothly. Sadly, everything is a bit blurry with it and i can't chose other rendering options (no scale or exact fit), those don't work anymore with the sourcerect.
I would like to be able to use the hardware scaling and change the aspect ratio, is that possible ?

How to not downscale photos shared from Finder to Twitter?

OS X Mountain Lion seems to downscale photos shared from Finder to Twitter. How to prevent that from happening?

Just drag an image from the MobileMe Gallery to a project it will copy the image, not move it. Aperture will move images that are stored locally in the library but since these images uploaded by friends are only stored on the MobileMe servers, Aperture will make a copy when you drag them to a project.

I cannot open several pictures from my old iPhoto library which I saved on an external HDD.

I saved my old iPhoto library on an external HDD and successfully opened them in past several times. But now with iPhoto 11 v. 9.2.3 all I can see is a black triangle (image attached) for majority of my pictures and folder from my old iPhoto library on the external drive. Several times I tried rebuilding iPhoto library but that did not help.
I am runnig MAC OS X 10.6.8 with most recent updates.

that indicates a disconnect to the original photos - have you deleted any photos using the finder or run any clean up software?
If no then download iPhoto Library Manager - http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/ - and use the rebuild command in the free trial to create a new library leaving the existing one as is

Can't post a gallery picture to Twitter

I'm not able to post pictures from my Gallery to Twitter using the Twitter app. I click the photo button from the tweet composition screen, select "Gallery," select the photo I want and it switches to the Crop function and gets hung up. I can (sometimes) move the crop lines but after that nothing happens no matter what I click. Eventually it gives up and returns to the tweet composition pane.
I am able to take a new photo and tweet that, but I can't tweet a photo that is already in my Gallery. That's the problem.

Yes, I'm using the Twitter app. I tried unistalling and reinstalling it. That did add Twitter to the share options in Gallery, but it still doesn't work. I just keep getting a blank new tweet screen, whether I try it from Twitter or from Gallery. I tried tweeting anyway, just in case there was just a problem with displaying the photo (sometimes happens in Janetter desktop), but the photo is definitely not attached to the tweet.
It's weird because if I start a new tweet, and choose to take a new photo for it, it works fine. The new photo shows up under the text box and gets tweeted as you would expect. It's just when I try to tweet a Gallery photo that nothing happens. Doesn't seem to matter if the photo was taken before the Twitter app was installed or after. It also doesn't seem to matter whether I enter text before or after trying to attach the photo.
I just tried again from Gallery and got an error message: "Problems loading the friends list." Maybe that's a clue? That's the only time I've gotten any error message.

Shared video pictures aren't correct

I have a lot of movies on my main iTunes library at home. A mixture of iTunes-purchased movies, Blu-ray discs with digital copy, and Handbrakes of old DVDs I own. When I use the video app on my iPad and access the shared library, many of the cover art pictures are transposed between movies. For example, the cover art for "Watchmen" shows up in the space for "Equilibrium". There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to the movie source; they're all susceptible. The movies are hosted on a drive connected to a 17"MBP that serves as the iTunes library for the house. Everything's Apple - including the network. Any ideas? Bug in the app?

Disconnect the external drive, choose Go to Folder from the Finder's Go menu, enter /Volumes/ as the folder's path, move all aliases out of this folder, and then reconnect the drive.

Opening several pictures in Finder

Sometimes I receive folders with several photos and I want to check them out without using iPhoto so I select all the pictures (since you can't open 1 photo and just click next or something) and do +O to open all the photos. But the order the photos appear aren't the order I chose for the folder and aren't the order set by the photos name (photo 1, photo 2, photo 3, ...).
How can I do this (choose a specific order to open the photos with preview)?

Someone, somewhere screwed up a function that keeps things in order, this shows up in Finder, Slideshow, and opening things in batches. If you put the folder in Column view, then select them they will open in alphanumeric order, as they show in the Column view. If you have them in List view and drag and drop them on to the Preview icon they SHOULD open in alphanumeric order. If you want to open them in some other order, such as Date Created, I think you are out of luck.

Sharing pages on facebook, twitter, digg it etc

I'm wondering if there is a way to incorporate a sharing menu/button on my iWeb pages like the ones on popular blog sites.
I'm sure you all know what I mean, it's the buttons that allow you to share the current page on facebook, twitter, digg it, or email it to other people.
I run a gaming website and have my blog section done via blogger, entered in via the snippet. But I also have a review section done manually and want to be able to have this menu bar to easily make my twitter followers aware that a new review has been uploaded and for readers to easily share the review.
Can this be done?

The one I used from http://www.addthis.com/web-button-select *worked for me*. I did forgot to provide one little adjustment that I had to make in order to make it work. I had to enlarge the snippet area to about 450 x 400 pixels to allow the drop down window to appear. The area can overlap other items. But don't hit the apply button after setting the new size or it will go back to the original size.
The close window x in the larger window doesn't work however but clicking on the button will open and close the larger selection window. The cursor rollover opens a smaller selection window.

Best way to upload pictures to Twitter?

Hi, I got the C3 model yesterday. I love it so far, everything works great for me. However, I can't seem to figure out how to go about uploading a picture from my phone and posting it to my Twitter account, and I was hoping someone here could help me provide a solution.
I've tried to use the native Communities app, but I didn't see an option for it in there. Then I tried Twitpic, but whenever I click upload on it, the site just says "Link not available".
Yfrog also does not seem to work. Then I went to the Ovi store and tried Snaptu, but didn't see an option for it in there. Also, TTPhotoPicker only seems to upload pictures in real time, rather than upload something from the phone's gallery.
If anyone can provide the best solution to this, it would be most helpful. Thank you

Setup your C3's email any you can upload your photo anytime you want by E-Mail to that address
