Sharing the dimension vs creating a new one

Hello - We are in the process of adding a new cube in our existing appset. This new cube could potentially share one of the dimensions from the existing cube. Plan is to make this shared dimension secured so that we can limit the access of dimension members in new cube. If we share this dimension, users of the new cube won't have access to all the members of the dimension, dimension will still have all the other members. With this design dimension will be something like a sparsed dimension for the new cube. My questions is what is the better alternative a> sharing the dimension or b>creating a new dimension for the cube which is not shared.

The answer depends on how big are the differences and the maintained of the dimension, including security for the elements in the dimension.
There are Pro and Cons to the process of using single or multiple dimension.
Pro
1 - You will not have to manage 2 different dimensions for the same information.
2 - You can have one MAP for security (Depending on need)
3 - Changes will affect across the apps.
Cons
1 - Every time you need to process you will have to process 2 cubes along with the dimension.
2 - The client will have to refresh both Apps to have updated values.
3 - Manage two different dimensions for same elements that are shared.
4 - The Processing may take longer with Single shared dimension, and also may add overhead to the cube.

Haveing trouble setting up appleid on new computer - it asks me to verify a very old card that i threw out years ago. It won't let me do anything elese I can see like remove this card or add a new one, so essentially I am stuck unable to activate the new account. Any tips?

Updating JFrame with creating a new one

Hi All,
I instantiate an object as follows, which creates a JFrame
_imageOutput = new ImageOutput(array, offsetArray);
however this is inside a loop and instead of updating the JFrame is creates a new one each time. How can I stop it from creating a new one each time?

_imageOutput = new ImageOutput(array, offsetArray);
then OF COURSE it creates a NEW ImageOutput object.
If you want to update it (whatever that mean) then add a new method in that object like Update(). Then everytime you want to update it, use
_imageOutput.Update() . You can refresh the graphics of a JComponent with repaint().

Loading swatches - doesn't sync but creates a new one...

I am trying to load swatches from one file to another. Each time i try this, it does not sync the swatches, but creates a new one with the same name but a number after. For example: Table-Body becomes Table_Body 1. I want to override the swatch from file A with the swatch color with the same name from file B. Is there a way to do this without actually creating a book to sync the files?

Yeah, that is what I do currently, but I was hoping there was a way to avoid this. When you load paragraph style or character styles, the incoming style overrides the ones in the current file. I thought that there may be a way to do the same with swatches. Maybe there is not...

It sounds like you might have broken links to your content. Either repair these by putting the files you've recovered where iTunes expects to find them or delete the broken entries then go to iTunes Store > Purchased > Music > Not on This Computer, and click the download links.

I want to set up a separate icloud ID so that it is only on my new device. I still want to keep the same apple ID for purchases. Keep the same apple id. By all means. I tunes will recognize the different devices, and you can share or not share whatever you want.

If you remeber the password to that Apple ID then follow these steps
1 - Make sure you have an email address that is NOT an Apple ID
2 - Go to AppleID.Apple.com
3 - Where it reads Manage Apple ID - Sign in
Once you are signed in want to make sure the email address you are wanting to use is NOT set up as a "Recovery/Rescue" email for this account.
[To check this - Main page where you see Primary ID - below do you see the email address you want to use listed towards the bottom? Yes - Delete / No - Good ./. If made any adjustments "Save" Next on the left select "Password & Security" - Answer your security questions you set up "if you have any" then scroll towards the bottom and check to see if you see the email address you want to use. Yes - Delete / No - Good] <-> Also you can change your password on this page as well. Any adjustments made "Save"
Once this is done go back to the main page where you should read "Primary ID" and change the email address that is showing to the new email address youo want. "Save" Done

Went to Settings where?
If you want to use your exisiting Apple ID on your iPad, you need to:
1. Go to Settings>iTunes & App Store and sign out the new ID, and then sign on the old one
2. Go to Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom and delete the iCloud account, and the sign back onto iCloud using the old ID
You still have not indindated why you are saying that using your old ID originally "didn't work". What do you mean by that? Did you get some sort of error when you tried to sign on with your exisiting Apple ID?

You probably mean that you forgot your digital certificate password and I presume that this is a self-signed certificate that you yourself created, not a certificate that you received from a Certificate Authority (CA). If this is true then you can create a new self-signed digital certificate (Digital ID in Acrobat-speak) the same way you created the first one: In Acrobat XI it is Edit->Preferences->Signatures->Identities&Trusted Certificates->More. Then click on "Add ID" button and follow the prompts. You can create as many self-signed certificates with the same credentials (name, email, etc.) as you wish. You'd have to figure out how to distinguish them, though.
