Sharing to You Tube gives no linked account error message

I am using FCPX 10.0.9
When I try to share video to You Tube I get an error message saying that there is "NoLinkedYouTubeAccount". The account is valid and the user name is correct as well as the password. Am I missing something?

Hi Russ, sorry it's taken so long for me to get back to your reply.
The you tube site uploader works normally. I only have a problem when I try to share/upload directly from FCPX.
I wnt to upload from fpcx because it loads a much smaller file size and the upload is much much quicker.

There are a few types of files that Acrobat can't convert--and PDF files with security applied is one on them. My iMac 8.1 (10.6.8 ) was slowing down and had recurrent permissions problems, mostly with Java. I backed everything up, and then re-installed from time machine. Now all I get is a black screen which says I need to reboot. Power+D gives me a hardware error message: 4 MOT/1/40000003: HDD-1336 or HDD-1327. When I reboot from the OSX CD and start disc utilities everything checks out OK. When I reload 10.5.2 from the OSX CD everything seems to work OK and no more permissions problems. But then I loose all my email and safari stuff. Anyone have any ideas short of going back to my old PC?

No unfortunatley it's too old, you are referring to Target Display Mode which became avialble in 2009, your 2008 needs to have the HD replaced. I'd still do that if everything else is OK or you can simply buy a new MM and display or even a new iMac or an Apple refurbished iMac to save money.

The error message probably said "unsupported or damaged"
The T3 requires Lightroom 3.4.1 or later. You can either upgrade to a more current version of Lightroom (version 5.6 is the most recent) or you can use the free Adobe DNG Converter to convert the RAWs to DNG, which should import into Lightroom properly.

Could be many things, we should start with this...
"Try Disk Utility
1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
*Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
5. Click Repair Disk, (not Repair Permissions). Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward.

I've done all of the above suggested sign in methods, and yet ibooks gives me the following error message "This Apple ID cannot be used for the iTunes Store."

Found this in the forums here, it works.
"OK...I think I have found a solution. In settings, select tunes & app store. click on Apple ID> View Apple ID>Payment Information. It appears it is not saving or requiring payment information to be updated. This worked for me."

Sharing to You Tube gets to 50% and stops

I have tried to share with You Tube videos of various sizes down to 3 and 1/2 minutes and keep getting an error message that says my internet connection has timed out. Regardless of the file size it stops sharing at 50%. I have my own You Tube account and channel. The video is converted from old super eight movie and is happily edited in Final Cut.

My website in firefox browser does not disply the you tube or facebook links/feeds, shows fine in IE

sorry - i've tried half a dozen times to load screenshots of 'the problem' nothing would load, not a word doc with the screenshots, not pngs, not jpgs, and trying to load actually crashed firefox at one point so - here's the problem but no supporting images...
my website: www.pfment.com on the right panel has on top a you tube button, then a facebook feed and last, a place to subscribe to tipsheets. all was fine - i do not know when they stopped showing (in the ff browser) to be clear, the yt and fb parts no longer show at all, and the tipsheet subscribe is on top. if i select view in ie tab, it's still a no show, however, if i open the ie browser, chrome, etc, it shows correctly.
i have emptied cache and cookies, no help.
ideas? suggestions?

hmm, just tried to do the automatically add troublehooting info but it said no can do - problems at your end....will see if manual will work.

sorry - we've been working on the website over the weekend so it isn't the same anymore because the person working on it already changed the facebook feed to some text and told me that we'll see about making it the way it was later, nevertheless, i absolutely do have screenshots- they simply would not load on the page to post the initial question.
in the ff browser neither the yt widget or the fb 'feed' were showing, but the ie browser had them correctly displayed. apologies because as of right this minute the site won't look like that in any browser - with the messing about of the weekend it currently shows as in the 3rd screenshot - i put the windows next to each other and captured just the relevant part - on the left side is ie showing the yt widget and text for a fb link, but on the ff side, there's still no yt widget, it does show the text but ultimately the idea is to get it back to what it looks like in the second shot of the ie browser.
i hope i didn't confuse things -
and thank you VERY much for any help (i've looked at the question for websites don't appear as they should but clearing cache and cookies didn't help)

You do nor have sufficient privledges error message when upgrading to Firefox 5 but am an administrator

Using older Intel iMac 24": Tried to update 3.6 to 5.0 but after dragged Firefox into Applications image and clicking that I wanted to replace older version- following error message
"The operation cannot be completed because you do not have sufficient privledges for some of the items."
However I am the administrator and was using the adminustrator's account. I then closed all other accounts, restarted and tried again with same result.

In such a situation, the best thing to do is to perform a clean install:
# Download a new copy of Firefox 5.0 from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
# Move the current Firefox from ''Applications'' folder to the ''Trash''.
# Install Firefox 5.0 that you have just downloaded. For instructions, see [[Installing Firefox on Mac]].
<BR>Your bookmarks and other personal data is stored in the Firefox [[Profiles|Profile]] folder and will not be affected by these steps.

PDF link receives error message

Hi,
I'm using Adobe CS5 and am working on a webpage for my university's website. I have been linking PDFs of brochures onto the website. Today, I changed the brochure, changed the name of the brochure, deleted the old brochure link, and re-linked the new brochure on the website. Now when I try to open it I recieve an error message: "page not found." This is our website: http://www.iusb.edu/~sbintl/study.shtml (Health Promotion's brochure is the one with the broken link).
Can anyone help?

Hans is right.
The file is not on the server, or
The name is different than the one linked, or
You saved it in a different place.
Check your remote files and see if you have it there, you should be able to see it.
When you upload the page, select "upload dependant files" and that should take care of it, unless you have that turned off.

I have a requirement where in a user presses a button and based on certain conditions I throw an error on page. The error should contain a system administrator link that the user can email to by clicking on the Name provided in the error message.
Is this possible ? How do I get the error message token to be a 'mailto' ?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You can create linkbean type of field on the page and display the text which you want like "click here" set a PPR on this link bean , when user click on the 'click here' link you get the PPR event in processFormRequest method of controller and send the email to that person. For email utility you have use the java code.
