This morning I have installed updated for safari currently I have Safari Version 4.0.4 (5531.21.10).
Shift + Command + 1 (i.e. Show top sites) not working with new updates.
Does any one else has this issue with Safari.

Treo 700W blue tooth w/daimler Chrysler uconnect not working after installing updater.

Anyone having problems with their 700W blue tooth working after installing the updater? My Jeep Grand Cherokee's blue tooth uconnect system was working flawlessly until I installed the updater. Now it will not work. I've went through all of the procedures several times. The phone will discover the uconnect but when you put in the 4 digit pass code that you have given to the vehicle it will not connect thought the secure connection. I have called Verizon and Daimler Chrysler and they both do not know why it will not work. I have reset the uconnect system on the vehicle per their instructions. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having the exact same problem - Treo 700W (verizon), Dodge UConnect circa 2005 (Grand Caravan [tough to admit, but yes a mini-van]), running Win XP, Active Sync 4.2, USB connect with the Treo.
Had perfect connectivity until running the most recent update, now the Treo will initially recognize UConnect when attempting to pair the phone, but after supplying the 4-digit passcode, it won't connect. It tells me the "passcode is incorrect...". I'm 100% sure the passcode in correct. I've tried deleting the phone from the UConnect multiple times and tried several different combinations of passcodes (0000, 1234, 1111, 2222, and many others) and all have the same result.
I've also successfully paired the Treo with other bluetooth devices, so it appears this is a UConnect - Treo problem.

HP Advisor, for m9040n HP Pavilion vista home premium not working after installing update.

I have a m9040n hp pavilion desktop with vista home premium. My hp advisor will not work. When I go to the menue to pull it up the icon has changed and is an icon of white pages. When I select the icon Hp Advisor it gives me a gray dialog box called the file type assistant. For searching for software to open the file. I've tried to install the sp 43112.exe update recommended for my hp pavilion m9040n with vista home premium but my hp advisor is still not working. Any ideas as to why my installing the update failed? Is there anything I should do beforeinstalling the update?

I understand you’re stating the HP advisor isn’t working correctly after an update.
Try doing a system restore back a day or two before the update occurred, if you haven’t attempt that already. Below are the instructions on how to do a restore if you’re unsure.

I have the same problem. Since I installed the newest version I cannot watch embedded videos any more. I checked especially for youtube videos. When they are embedded, I only get sound, but no picture/film to go with it, BUT when I go to youtube, I can watch the video just fine.
Same for videos from internet sites of tv channels. I like to watch my favourite TV series online when I have time and since one and a half week: I can't.

Please follow these directions to delete the Mail "sandbox" folder.
Back up all data.
Triple-click the line below to select it:
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
Services ▹ Reveal
from the contextual menu.* A Finder window should open with a folder named "com.apple.mail" selected. If it does, move the selected folder — not just its contents — to the Desktop. Leave the Finder window open for now.
Quit and relaunch Mail, and test. If the problem is resolved, you may have to recreate some of your Mail settings. You can then delete the folder you moved and close the Finder window. If you still have the problem, quit Mail again and put the folder back where it was, overwriting the one that may have been created in its place. Post your results.
Caution: If you change any of the contents of the sandbox, but leave the folder itself in place, Mail may crash or not launch at all. Deleting the whole sandbox will cause it to be rebuilt automatically.

LMic Jack not working after Driver Update, Console unavailable, can't install? I've had nothing but problems after downloading the latest updates via the auto-updater.
I'm currently using the Creative SB X-Fi Pro Series card. I've had it for close to 6 months and have not had any issues until I ran the auto-updater last night, and while it downloaded over 250Mb of updates, all of them failed to install as described below.
I'm running on Windows Vista Ultimate, 64-bit
My main issue is the fact that my microphone is no longer working. I've done a lot of searching and I think the problem has to do with flexijack not being a microphone jack, but instead is an 'in-line' jack. I can no longer find my audio control console, which allows me to switch between gaming and entertainment modes, ect. The solution I found on the KB says that you can switch the blue jack on the back of the card from an in-line jack to a mic jack within the Audio console. I tried downloading it, but while going through the install, I get an error saying the files could not be found and a prompt which asks for a disk or file location. The same thing pretty much happens with all of the items I attempted to download and install.
I was able to run console fine, as well as use my mic yesterday before I attempted any updates. I attempted the updates because since I've had the card, I've had issues where after I exit a game, all my sound will become crackly and static. Before, I would simply open up the console and switch back-and-forth from gaming to entertainment, which would fix the problem most of the time. If that didn't work, a restart would fix it, but now I've opened up a whole new set of issues.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I also want to say that the support tickets should not require a serial number to submit a new ticket. My product is registered, so I got rid of the box which contains all that information, leaving me at the mercy of these boards...

Hello all. Fisrt of all, this are my specs: Yoga 2 pro 13". WiFi card: Intel(R)Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260. I bought it from Best Buy on November 27, 2014. If you aquired your Yoga before this date, you may have the single band WiFi card. As many of you have experienced, I also had a bunch of issues with my WiFi connectivity and this is how I was able to solve it. At least it has been a couple of days that I haven't had any issues. The first symptom was the usual connection drops every X amount of time. For me it was about every 2 hours. I first unchecked the "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" option in the Power Management tab of device manager and disabled U-APSD support in the Advanced tab of device manager. This action did not solve the problem. I then downloaded and updated the driver from the Intel web site (http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect) and this seemed to solve the drops; however, a new problem arised: Everytime my Yoga would wake up from sleeping mode, all my wifi networks were gone and the adapter showed as disabled in Device Manager. I would have to anable it to have my networks back. It was a solution but a pain the butt to have to do this everytime. After hours of reading post after post in several forums, I read a repy from Lenovo asking to try leaving the "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" CHECKED if you were using the latest version of the driver. I went back to device manager and checked it back and that seems to have solved the problem. So far I haven't had any drops and everytime my laptop comes back from sleeping mode the WFi connection is still there! Here is a recap of how everything ended up: -The driver version I installed is 17.1.0.19-The driver date is 7/21/2014-In device manager|Advanced, U-APSD support is Disbled.-In device manager|Power Management, "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is checked. ValentinT, welcome to the forum.
There are no drivers available for Windows 8. I suggest checking in the Control Panel/Sound/Recording to assure that your microphone is selected. It seems that the Sound is one area that gets changed when updating to Win 8.1. At least, this is what happened to me.

Internet not working after installing "StarTech Thunderbolt Docking Station" driver

My Internet is not working after installing "StarTech Thunderbolt Docking Station" driver although "Ethernet" and "wireless" say they're connected, still there is no internet.
I have bought a "StarTech Thunderbolt Docking Station" as I need to use 2 thunderbolt based pieces of equipment on my "MacBook Pro"; which are a 2nd monitor as well as a Thunderbolt driven Audio Interface.
When I first plugged all my equipment to the "StarTech Thunderbolt Docking Station" everything was working fine, all pieces of equipment worked as well as Ethernet from both the computer and the docking station were working perfectly.
However, when I inserted the "StarTech Thunderbolt Docking Station driver CD" and installed the drivers, the internet on my computer has stopped working. Although the Ethernet says it is "connected" (same goes for "Thunderbolt Ethernet" when cable is connected to it) still the internet does not work. Even my wireless internet is not working anymore. Furthermore, also after installing the Docking Station drivers, my iTunes is crashing whenever started.
Please help, this is really urgent.
I've been looking for answers all around but can't seem to find any.
I'm using OSX Mavericks 10.9.2
I've tried fixing stuff with Network preferences, like changing IP address, renewing DHCP leace.
I also tried typing IP address, Subnet Mask, Router and DNS Sever manually... Nothing seems to be working.
Note: I know someone could suggest to "uninstall" the Thunderbolt Station driver, however, I can't find an "uninstallation file", even the CD that came with the docking station does not have it.

I had exactly the same problem today, and I was lucky enough to solve it.
Here's what helped me:
First, I found a hint to Suspicious Package in this thread.
With Suspicious Package installed, I was able to identify the script in StarTech's installer pkg. It' called "postflight".
Amongst other things, postflight runs this command:
sudo mv usr/share/sandbox/mDNSResponder.sb usr/share/sandbox/_mDNSResponder.sb
A quick check in Apple's knowledge base revealed, that the mDNSResponder is essential to use DNS (i.e. to resolve server names like www.apple.com) and bonjour.
I moved th mDNSResponder back to where it belongs:
sudo mv usr/share/sandbox/_mDNSResponder.sb usr/share/sandbox/mDNSResponder.sb
After a reboot, everything worked fine again.
I have no idea, why StarTeck disables an essential tool. Let's assume it's an error ...
But after this experience, I didn't want the StarTech ethernet driver on my machine (I had installed it just for curiosity, anyway - yes, I know, I shouldn't have ...), so I removed the kext the installer had copied to my system:
sudo mv /System/Library/Extensions/IONetworkingFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleIntel8 2580.kext /Users/myusername
(You see I didn't delete the kext directly, I just moved it away and tried another reboot. Now everything works fine, so I'm going to delete the kext entirely and paint a big red cross on StarTech's installer disk.

You don’t install VS2010 on the client PC, then where did the Form Invoice not work? When you run it from another version of VS? Or when you run the application with application.exe?
Based on your description, one form works well, another form does not. I assume that two forms are in two different projects, then please check the .Net Framework used by the two projects. If they are different, you can use the
one used by the Form contact for Form Invoice.
Because this issue is a project issue, I recommend you to consult it on some application forum such as Windows Forms General forum for better support.

Hmmmm... would appear that you need to be actually logged in to enable the additional menu features.
Have you tried deletting the plists for MAS?
