Shift One sub org unit to different higher level Org unit

Dear All,
I have requirement of shifting few Org units to different higher Org units, is it possible through PPOME, PPOSE (By drag and drop)or by any other transaction.
the Org unit which we want to shift is having position and attched holders also...

Thanks for the reply, but one more Query if position(obviously some person must be attached with this position) is moved to another Org unit,
somewhere we have to make changes like IT0001 for that Employee.

A/B 002Is line supervisor of
That is if you map the sub org unit to root org then u need to assign
B002 --Is line supervisor of
(meaning:root org unit is the supervisor of sub org unit)
Top Down approach
if you assigning the root orgunit to sub orunit then
A002 reporting line to.
(meaning:sub org unit reporting to root org unit)

Drill down logic to capture Sub Org Unit's which doesn't have chief

Hello Gurus,
I am wondering to get logic for following scenario. Any ideas are appreciated.
I have one Cheif Org Unit say '50000000'. This org unit can have two sub Org Units for ex
55000000 and 56000000 (Here Org unit 55000000 has chief and 56000000 doesn't have a chief). I need to capture only 56000000 which doesn't have a chief. Again, assume 56000000 has three more sub Org Units for ex
56000001, 56000002 and 56000003 (Here Org Unit 56000002 only has chief and the rest two doesn't have chief). Then I need to capture 56000001 and 56000003.
so on and so forth drill down to the level where all sub org units have chief's which ends my iteration.
Result:
I am interested in only org units which does not have chief...In above example
56000000
56000001
56000003
and ....
I know that we can make use of B002 relation in HRP1001 and O-O and to check if org unit has chief, use relation
B012 in hrp1001 with O-S....but I am unable to put this in iteration..Appreciate any ideas or logic..

*Select all organizational units.

LOOP AT IT1_HRP1000.
*Check if that org unit is sub unit for another one
SELECT * FROM HRP1001 where rsign eq 'B' and relat eq '002' and objid eq IT1_HRP1000-objid.

*check whether that org unit has a chief or not.
SELECT * FROM HRP1001 where relat eq '012' and objid eq IT1_HRP1000-objid.

Explanation about PPOSE (display of sub org unit)

Hi everybody,
I am beginner in Sap HCM OM and I don't understand something in transaction ppose.
There is Org unit 50271758.
This org unit has different sub org units .
But depending on the start date and the preview period I set in the setiings, the sub org units appers or disappears.
The view of the sub org unit and the objects depends on that but I don't understand the logic.
I would really apprecitae if somebody helps me because I am completely lost.
Sometimes I see an arrow before the sub org 'Object to be removed' Object to be added' and I don't understand why.

I have a very common requirement in SAP HCM ABAP development.
For an Org Unit, how do we get all Reporting Org units(Also employees reporting to the sub org unit) & Employees ?
I have tried using RH_STRUC_GET_MULTIPLE_ROOTS and RHPH_STRUCTURE_READ, but the evaluation path is insufficient to get all objects under it. I tried with both O-S-P and O-O-S-P evaluation paths and as per some constraints, I can’t create a customized evaluation path for a reason.
I am using PNPCE database for user selection screen and user would be advising the Org unit. I even referred the standard transaction ‘S_AHR_61016495’ which is using PCH logical database.
I would really appreciate if anyone could provide a solution for this. (Rewards guranteed )

Although I could not respond in time, thank you so much for your prompt reply.
I had used the same RHPH_STRUCTURE_READ and passed the appropriate values to it, but it did not populate the required results. I cross checked the results manually, may be some relations issue. But later I tried using RH_STRUC_GET_MULTIPLE_ROOTS and it worked fine.
Meanwhile I had done a workaround with PCH and RH_STRUC_GET and it served the purpose of getting all the Org units, it’s reporting sub-org-units, positions and persons (The deepest structure from the root org unit advised on selection screen).
The solution I used is, I captured the org-units advised on selection screen by user using PCH logical database and then by looping on sub-org units reporting to the main org-unit I populated related positions and persons holding them and assigned it to the PNPCE logical database.

Place one order with Products from different sales orgs

We are in CRM 7.0 EHP2 connected to ECC 6.0. We have Internet
sales/Webchannel Application.
We are rolling out Internet sales for a new country but they want the option to
place one single order with products from different sales
organizations.
Currently Customers send fax/email to customer
representative(CR) with list of products. The CR identifies and places
multiple orders if products belong to different sales orgs.
Currently customers don't have idea about sales orgs and they don't
have a clue which product belongs to which sales orgs. So, for them to
use Internet sales, we have to provide them an option to place one
order with products from different sales orgs.
I understand SAP doesn't support this. But, is there any way we can achieve this through some custom/out of the box solutions?

Assign a Position in CRM to an Organization Unit at a higher level.

Hi,
While configuring the Organizational Management in CRM 5.1, I have copied the sales areas created in ECC to CRM.
The resulting structure is a freely definable Org Unit at the top level called Sales Area (as is was created in ECC) and under that all the Sales Organizations are existing.
I need to create positions for the Sales Organizations and assign employees to these positions created.
As per our client requirement, I need to create the positions at the higher level (probably the Org unit level) and assign the employees to these positions created.
The reason for doing this is that the same employees work across different Sales Orgs.
Is it possible to create the positions at the highest level so that they can be inherited by the Sales Orgs defined below or do i need to create the positions and the employees separately for each Sales Org.
I would appreciate if you could answer at the earliest. I need to complete the configuration at the earliest.

Can I use one Apple TV unit to distribute content to two TV's? If so, how?

Apple TV is designed to display content on a single TV only. Although it has component and HDMI outputs they are not independent and, as has been pointed out already, HDMI will take precedence over the component video.
You will need two Apple TVs, one for each TV, and you can then sync both with one computer either with the same content or with different content selected from a common library in iTunes..

Maintain condition records in one sales org,applicabe to all sales orgs

Hi SD gurus,
I have two sales organisations say for example3000 & 4000. Instead of maintaining pricing condition records in both the sales organisation for customers, materials, I want to maintain them for only one sales org 3000.I dont want to maintain them for sales org 4000. The same condition records should be determined in the sales order created for sales org 4000, what ever maintained in sales org 3000.
To summarise, Instead of maintaining pricing for both sales org, i need to maintain it in one sales org but should be applible to all the orders created in both the sales orgs. This will reduce the duplication of work.
Do we have any customizing setting in SD or do we need to go for enhancement? How?

In SAP,We have a concept called Common Distribution Channel(VOR1) and Common Division(VOR2).The Purpose of this Option is to avoid the Creating Master Data for all Distribution Channels and Divisions,Like Customer Master Records,as you mentioned Price condition(Condition Master Record).
In brief.....if you are dealing with multiple Distribution Channels Like 01,02,03,04....Now for example if customer belongs to all these Distribution Channel,we need to create Xd01 4 times for the same Customer with different Channels and even with Material Master Record also....and even think the same with Pricing Condition Also....Now to avoid Creating the Master Records in Each Distribution Channels..we can Define Common Distribution Channel Like 00.
Now if you create the CMR or MMR or Pricing Conditions for 00.then default all these will be applicable with other Channels Like 01,02,03,04.
The same case with Divisions also,but if you define common Divisions...This will be applicable only for Customer Master Record and Pricing Records only....Common Divisions are not applicable for Material Master Record.
In the of Sales Organization point of you...there is no such provison of Common Sales Organization.
we need to Maintain individualy for Sales Organizations....for Pricing you can Copy and create Records...But what you are asking is not possible...

SUB-Group consol. in different currency i.e. other than group currency

HI Friends,
Consolidation Group currency is "USD". In the consolidation hierarchy, i have one sub group where all the companies are in AUD.
Now the requirement is that australian sub group requires sub consolidation in AUD.
Currently we are doing sun consolidation and the results are as expected, but they are in group currenmcy "USD".
Is there any option to get the sub groupconsolidation report in AUD i.e. different than group currency.

Yes it is possible.
Direct in UCMON and change your group currency, but you must do again full proces consoidation in this group currenct, or in your query (query designer) you create a new report and use transaltion currency direct in report.

why sales org is assigned at company code level why not on plant level ?

Multiple sales organizations can be assigned to company code.
Company code is the highest organizational unit and plant and sales organization are assigned to it.
In the logistics module, Plant is the highest entity in the MM module and Sales organization is the highest entity in SD module. Basically with this assignment of plant and sales org to company code all the financial accounts are updated.
Assigning of Sales org to company code and not to plant is the standard functionality that helps map most business processes.

Higher level Org Chief........

Hello everyone,
My requirement goes like this----
Suppose for an organization, Org. Chief is not maintained, next higher level Org.unit Chief should be fetched.
EX: 10000002 Org.Unit Reports to 10000001 Org.Unit
i.e 'O' 10000002 A002 'O' 10000001
There is no org.chief for 10000002 Org.unit i.e
'O' 10000002 B012 does not exist and there exists a relationship such that
'O' 10000001 B012 'S' 30000015.
Now when i execute that function module with Object type as 'O' and org.Unit as 1000002 with relationship B012, it should get me 'S' 30000015.
Is there any function module which will help me in getting the required?

yes manoj for example when call the function with objid as 10000002 and relation as B012, i am getting an error as Relation O 10000002 B012 does not exist...
i can get the higher org unit and then b012 for it, thats not a problem if i go by logic in coding.
What i want is to know that whether is there any function module that will directly give the next higher related object ID?

We have a case where we need to determine all suborgs that belongs to a certain org:

lt_result tab will contain all suborgs belonging to the parent org you passed in.
We have a dynamic evaluation path determination, but in this case it should be the following sequence in your evaluation path:
No Obj. Type A/B Rel'ship   Relationship Name     Prio   Rel.obj.type    Skip
10   O             B      002         Is line supervisor of    *           O
Transaction OOAW to maintain evaluation paths.
