Shift option drag not working

Hi all,
Today my Shft Option drag is not working. When I click on an object and hit shift-option and drag the object, it should move in a horizontal or vertical direcion, but it does not. When I hold the shift key, the object can still be moved in any direction without stagering. I have never seen this before. Anyone know how to fix this?

It happens to me also, when I have external devices connected, like a beamer, a second screen, etc. Happens not with every device, but with some of them. Very bad situation if you make presentations or consulting and no shortcut works from one moment to the next.
I have not discovered exactly what this problem is causing, otherwise I would have filed a bug repaort against it to Adobe.

You must enable iTunes Match on the new computer. Option + tab not working.

Hi,
when I press option + tab no input event is generated.
This is very weird, since a few updates ago it worked AFAICR.
Nevertheless, shift + option + tab still works normally.
Both keyboard viewer and xev do not catch any event when option + tab are pressed.
Any ideas?

Well I tried to find a key logger. Usually both xev and/or Keyboard viewer do the trick.
Not in this case apparently.
An interesting detail is that even if I press option on my keyboard and then try to press (with the mouse) the tab key on the keyboard viewer, nothing happens.
It's as if that key gets locked as soon as I press option.
Moreover, if I press tab and then option I do get the event, but not the other way around.
Hummm, how about that apple engineers?

See the above post for more information - here's a synopsis:
CTRL+SHIFT modifiers are not working while running LabVIEW in a Parallels 7 virtual machine. This problem affects both LV2011 and LV2012. I'm not certain that this is a LabVIEW bug - could be an issue with my virtual machine environment or it's configuration - except that CTRL+SHIFT modifiers work in other applications on the affected VMs. It's just LabVIEW that appears to ignore shortcuts with the CTRL+SHIFT modifiers.
Any ideas?

Filter option is not working in Reuse alv grid

to search for pattern.

Urgent : SSRS reports zoom in option is not working in IE9 compatability view

Hi,
We have SSRS reports which when viewed in IE 9 compatability view, zoom in option is not working properly.
SSRS report have 4 charts inside a rectangle. when zoom in from 100% to 50% only rectangle shrinkes not the charts.
Please let me know why it is happening and solutions if any?

Problem statement:
To work OTHER reports compatibility mode in IE should be ON
To work SSRS reports (mainly zoom) compatibility mode in IE should be OFF
OTHER report is being used by customer and they will start using SSRS reports as well. While using both OTHER reports and SSRS reports customer do not prefer to keep switching between compatibility modes.
“Browser Mode: IE9”
Steps to reproduce Zoom issue for SSRS report with Compatibility mode is given below:
Step-1: Select Tools menu -> Compatibility View Settings
Below setting is suggested for OTHER users so tick as shown below,
Step-2: On decision center select link and Open the report home page and click the link to open the report.
Step-3: On SSRS reports Change Zoom level from 100% to say 50%. Here all charts are not moved with container frame.
If “Browser Mode: IE8” is set with following steps then this issue does not happen.
Press F12 and from and select IE8 as shown below.
Press F12 again so this will set the mode and then try Zoom option it works fine. However this setting temporary and will remain for the session only.
If compatibility mode is OFF then also this does not happen. Please see image below.

Can you further elaborate on your concern? What exactly do you mean by "download option is not working"? Can you select the Download option? If not, can you describe it? Is it grey out? Any error message? Does this happen to all of your apps? BTW, how are you accessing the Nokia Store? Is it via the Nokia Store app or through your phone browser? If you're using the app, try to access it via phone browser to check if the same issue will occur.
If you are using the app, make sure that it is up to date. You can update it by going to store.nokia.mobi through your phone browser. You can also try to restart the phone to refresh it. Hope this helps.

You mean an image such as a scanned document?
If that is the case, the file doesn't contain any text for Reader Out Loud to read. In order to fix that, you would need an application such as Adobe Acrobat that does Optical Character Recognition to convert the images to actual text.
You can also try to export the file as a Word document or something else using ExportPDF which I believe offers OCR and is cheaper than Acrobat.

Although possibly not related to your problem, I have to remind you that the version of Firefox you are using at the moment has been discontinued and is no longer supported. On top of this, it has known unpatched bugs and security problems. I urge you to update to the latest version of Firefox, for maximum security, stability, performance and usability. As for your issue, I'm not sure if this is the case, but there is a little know keyboard shortcut to change the keyboard language on Windows. And it's very annoying, since it's easily triggered. I don't know exactly which one it is, but I think it's CTRL+SHIFT, the ones on the right. I suggest you ask Microsoft for support on this one. Firefox doesn't control keyboard languages.

My shift-r, right shift-f, and right shift-v is not working.

I've seen questions in the forum about shift-r not working, I've looked into my system preferences and it appears there are no short cuts associated with shift-r. My right shift-f and right shift-v are not working either. I'm using a new iMac (10.7.2) with the bluetooth keyboard that came with it. If I use caps lock I can get capital R, F and V. It's very strange. I'm assuming it's a setting that's messed up versus a bum keyboard? Thanks for any help you can give!

Good deal, glad it's taken care of. I had a wireless keyboard on which the caps lock key stayed lit all the time, even though it did turn the lock on and off. And sometimes it wouldn't light at all. I took it (just the keyboard) to a local AASP and they checked it out and called to say my new keyboard was ready to be picked up.

When I am changing shift factor and variable depreciation portion in asset master data. Its not calculating depreciation as per shift factor.
What can be the reason behind it.
Even I have already maintained config in depreciation key also for multiple shift.

Shift factor works only with the variable portion of ordinary depreciation. The variable factor is defined as depreciation area level.
"When you use depreciation with a multiple shift factor, the system
multiplies the variable depreciation portion by the multiple shift factor"
In depreciation area tab of asset master data double click on the depreciation area. You can check the variable portion can be see under "Additional Specifications" tab. If the value is 0 then the shift factor will not work.
