Shift report

Hi all
Is it possible to configure shift report for maintenance work center. I have done it for technical objects, and got the report. But when did for maintenance work center it is not able to list the notification creates and giving report as zero notification.
Please comment on the issue. Does any body can share any doc regarding this

Hi
First you have to activate business function shift report and shift note. Then in spro under maintenance processing you can see the shift report / shift note. In shift report we should define shift report type, where we have to select usage as technical object. Then we have to customize the out put form as we required in content of shift report. After go to change mode of functional location or equipment where we are going to execute the report( ie IL01 / IE02) there we can see report type in general tab. map the created report to this. Then using ISHR1( logistic - central functions - shift note shift report )we can execute the shift report

Hours Confirmed
Goods Movement
Long Text Description of what was done to correct the problem.
IW40 displays all the necessary fields that we are looking for with the exception of the long text description.

For longtext u need to read from STXH Table using FM READ_TEXT

Shift report error in transaction SHR1

Hi Experts,
In transaction SHR1(CREATE SHIFT REPORT) , when i enter the work center, system throws the below error" Not possible to create shift report for work center VMC"
Reasons: work center doesn't exist in system.
2) no shift report has been entered in work center.
3) you don't have authorization to create shift report for this work center( authorization object C_COCF_SRA bzw. C_COCF_SRH).
i have maintained the shift in work center.
any help in this regard

This is authorization issue. Take Basis consultant help, go to t code SU21, Under PP Class/Object , check C_COCF_SRA and C_COCF_SRH authorization object .

Error while creation Shift Report SHR1

Hi,
i created shift report type and assigned to Resource and the same resource used in Master Recipe.
i can create Shift note using SHN1 but when i am creating Shift Report (SHR1) i am getting error --
Not possible to create shift report for work center
Diagnosis:
A shift report cannot be created for the work center or hierarchy for one of the following reasons:
The work center or hierarchy does not exist in the system
No shift report type has been entered in the work center or hierarchy
You do not have authorization to create a shift report for this work center or hierarchy (authorization object C_COCF_SRA bzw. C_COCF_SRH).
The Work center (Resource) is in the system
Shift Report assigned to Work Center (Resource)
i have authorization object.
i dont know where i did wrong.
Can any one explain the error

Shift Report-Plant Maintenance

I've implemnented shift report (SHR1) based on work centre.Shift note, confirmations, list of goods movement is coming in shift report but
I'm not able to generate list of notifications created with T-code IW21 in shift report?
Also i'm not able to get customer own data and graphical views.
Please provide your valuable inputs.

Assume LOG_PP_SRN_CONF business functionality is enabled. and use transaction SFP to check the layout" PDF and try SHR4 transaction for list shift report.

is it possible to hav shift report workcentewise? if yes how config is done?

In T.code : SHR0 (zero) Shift Report overview.
Enter Report Type and Usage as workcentre, please do the this customazation then you find workcentres in F4.

Crystal XI - No Printer option shifts report to the right

Hi all, I have encountered a problem which shifts the entire report to the right whenever I check the 'No Printer (optimize for screen display)' option in page setup. Has anyone encountered this problem and is there a working solution to this problem? Thanks in advance.

Solved my problem. I had to tweak the ODBC drivers on the server.

PM and PP Shift reports in SAP

Hi Friends,
Is there any method of capturing adhoc plant / process parameters in SAP without the creation of customised screens or Z tables in background. Because in a plant set up like ours there are 100's of parameters that each Shift In charges needs to capture and communicate it to next shift in charge person and to document it for future reference. Creation of Z fields for capturing these will be tedious and cumbersome job.
Can anyone pls help me out in finding a solution for this. It will be of great help to us.

You can also check in sq01 transaction and select your own requirement queries based on sap standard queries.

Shifting report server

i am running oracle e business suite 11.5.10 on hp ux 11.11 and database is 9.2.0.5 , my whoel setup runs on two nodes , can i add another another dedicated only to my reports server, can any one suggest any doc on this

I am also testing this, i.e. to use a Standby Database for Discoverer Reporting. I want to direct a question to the last poster (sr.satya) who mentioned this is possible. Have you done this? Do you have any documentation or reference websites I can look at?
My Test environment is as follows:
a) Single Node Primary System (Apps Tier & DB Tier on single node configuration)
b) From the Primary DB I have created a Physical Standby Database for the purposes of using it to run Discoverer.
How far I am getting before I get an error:
1) I am able to use Discoverer Launcher from the Primary System to logon against the Standby DB.
2) I am able Choose a responsibility
3) I am able to Choose a workbook
I get an error when I select a parameter on the Workbook.
The error is "Contact with Discoverer server has been lost. If this persists, please contact your Discoverer Administrator."
I am able to successfully run the Discoverer Report on the Primary System. Is there any additional configuration required when setting up a Standby Database on the E-Business Suite for use with Discoverer?

Report not printing to LOCL printer.

HI Gurus,
     I am facing an issue with printing a specific report to a local (LOCL) printer.
     Every time i try to print the report nothing happens at the printer. I am able to print other reports to that printer successfully, but
      not a specific printer(end of shift report).
      What might be the issue. Plesae guide me in resolving the issue.
      Is the issue with the GUI or with the local printer settings.
      The GUI i am currently using is 710 patch level #7.

Shift patterns for work centers

Hi,
I have question regarding shift patterns for work centers. We are actually utilizing the work centres in a aftermarket setup (service jobs). What we would like to do is to add shift patters to the work centers which look similar to this:
Mo-Su 07:00-19:00, Mo-Su 19:00-07:00 4days on/4 days off/4 days on/4days off. As you see we would like it to be a rolling schedule so the first 4 working days the day shift, then 4 days off, then the next working days the night shift and so on.
Is there a way of simplyfying this setup? The length of the cycle can only be set to a maximum of 7 days meaning I can not create a rolling schedule in a simple way. I do know that I can manually add intervals with say a seven day cycle and defining the working hours and additional create shift for holding predefined working hours and breaks.
I have looked at shift sequences but that doesn't seem to be helpful in this scenario? The sequence seems only to be used as a sequence on a daily basis.
If anyone has solution for this or if you have any thought on how to process I would be very thankful if you shared these.

Unity Connection 7.x - Best Practice for Large Report Mailboxes?

Good morning, We have 150 mailboxes from Nurses to give shift reports in. The mailbox quota is 60MB and the message aging policy is on. Deletede messages are deletede after 14 days. The massage aging policy is system wide, and increasing the quota would cause storage issues. Is there a way to keep the message aging policy and reduce it for 1 group of users? Is there a way to bulk admin the mailbox quota changes?

As for UC 8x, you're not alone. I don't typically recommend going to an 8.0 release (no offense to Cisco). Let things get vetted a bit and then start looking for the recommended stable version to migrate to.
As for bulk changes to mailbox store configurations for users, Jeff (Lindborg) may be able to correct me if I am wrong here. But with the given tools, I don't think there is a way to bulk edit or update the mailbox info for users (i.e., turn on/off Message Aging Policy). No access to those values via Bulk Edit and no associated fields in the BAT format either.
Now, with that said - no one knows better than Lindborg when it comes to Unity. So I defer to him on that point.

Kindly apply SAP Note 1415590.
The note is as below:-
Solution
1. Display the domain (fixed value append) EHP3_RU_DT_DYNNR in
transaction SE11.
2. Choose menu item 'Goto > Translation'.
3. Enter Original language: DE, Target language: EN.
Press the green check mark button (Translate(Enter)).
4. Expand Repository Texts '<VALU> Fixed Values for Domains'.
5. Double click on 'EHP3_RU_DT_DYNNR'.
6. Translate the fields as follows:
Personal: Schicht ---> Personnel: Shift
Kundenspezifische Felder von CI_AFRU -
> Customer-Specific Fields of CI_AFRU
Mengen: Unterteilte Mengen ---> Quantities: Subdivided Quantities
7. Press the 'Save' button.
8. Return to the display of EHP3_RU_DT_DYNNR and activate it.
Once if u do as per this note and select shift Proposal in Single Screen Entry. Then u can get Operation wise confirmation based by Shift and when enter transaction co11N u may not get Shift but when u give order no then u will get the shift.

In Confirmation parameters, i could not find Shift / Customer-specific Fields / Subdivision of Quanitities and notification type
I have created Shift Sequence. in Confirmation parameters i have to choose proposal shift. Which i couldn't.
Is there any additional configuration required?

As Vivek said, You should use ECC 6.0 EHP3 version.
EHP - Enhancement Package.
Pl. let us know, which version you are using.
In earlier version, Shift related confirmation was not possible and hence shift report.
With EHP 3.0 you are able to confirm and take report for the shifts.

Lookout 6.2 Hypertrend Panel Reports

I'm having issues getting reports with full panel graphics that contain hypertrends to properly update the trends prior to the report generation. The computer doing the reports does not actually have a monitor connected to it. I'm using it as a developer machine and I remote control to do the developing. The behavior is the same however, even with a local monitor hooked up.
Issue is that the actual screen redraw seems necessary to make the panel ready for report generation. That is, if a screen saver is on, or a different panel is over the panel in the report, the report graphic will not have updated Hypertrend traces in the panel graphic of the report.
Anyone have a workaround to fool lookout into thinking the panel is active prior to generating the report? I've tried "popping" or activating the panel many seconds prior to the panel generation, but it does not seem to help.
Strangely, one of the 19 Hypertrends on the panel is always up-to-date, and the other 18 are only up to the point of the previous report.

Your queston confuses me. I have never used a html report in that way. The only thing i've used it for, is to create a static report for supervisors. For example... putting formatted data on a web page for them to view like a shift report (showing production rates, scrap rates, production hours, equipment effectiveness, etc.) The reports I make are static, fixed.
It sounds like you have it working as a 'live' page, updating information periodically. (using it as a form of a 'display only' client?)
