SHINE demo content

Good day,
Ever since upgrading to SPS7 and now SPS8 my SHINE demo content has been broken. Specifically the table references have been incorrect, for example Analytic view AN_PURCHASE_COMMON_CURRENCY references table SAP_HANA_DEMO.sap.hana.democontent.emp.data::EPM.MD.Products instead of SAP_HANA_DEMO.sap.hana.democontent.emp.data::EPM.MasterData.Products.
The download for the updated Demo content doesn't appear to have anything to update these tables..........
And because the tables are renamed most of the objects in the democontent package have errors.
Has anyone else had this problem? And suggestions to resolve it?

Hi guys,
I discovered that the associated EPM.hdbdd file was not activated to recreate these tables because of a problem with _SYS_RT. Eventhough I've updated to SPS8 my _SYS_RT schema version is 1, so calling the "migrate_SYS_RT_25to27.py" returns the following:
- _SYS_RT schema version 1.00 1 differs from expected 1.00 25 => no schema version update at the end of migration
The further along I get an error:
- hdbcli.dbapi.Error: (259, 'invalid table name: Could not find table/view CDS_STRUCTURE in schema _SYS_RT
I'm hoping that this can be resolved and can avoid a complete reinstall.
Any assistance is most welcome and appreciated.

Help! I need to populate BW demo content.

Hi all.
I've just activated the BI demo-content for ITeLO scenario. Do you know If there's an easy way to populate the InfoCubes?

Installing the demo content (from the Business Content) is also supposed to kick off the loads. However, in my experience I had to install the content twice to get this to happen -- once in background so the installation of the objects wouldn't time out, and a second time in the foreground which was the only way to get the loads to kick off.
Try that. Let me know if it doesn't work and I'll go back and try to dig up some notes that I had on the subject of installing demo content with data.
**EDIT: Here is a good note to start with about demo data [370397|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/370397]. If you perform a search for "demo content data" you will get lots of relevant notes that give insights into how demo data is supposed to work (but often doesn't).

Activation sap demo content

hello, I am trying to activate SAP DEMO CONTENT..se activate all the objects but the Source System SAP_DEMO is not created. Is necessary create it before? as it is created?

I know Voodi. I managed to resolve the issue by doing the following:
1. Created an SAPDEMO system manually
2. Re installed the Demo content cube
3. Followed note: 370397 and created content for the cube 0D_DECU
4. Created infopackage manually and uploaded data (Not sure why the system did not create the IP while activating.

Thanks for the response but I know how to do a screen capture but wanted to be able to capture myself interacting with the ipad ansd turn into a movie i.e. showing all the movement / animation etc as I interact.
I have now figured out a good solution. Using AirServer you can wirelessly connect you ipad to your mac/pc then using a video capture solution like Snapz Pro you can capture what you are doing to create the video.

What i meant was if yu have R/3 sys and u knwo the type of data to be loaded, you can connect and try.
anyways,
did u try the other options i gave?
look at some more options like:
You may log on your bi system, and go to se38, excute program "RSO_BC_FILES_IN_BDS" and then input the demo infocube name which you have activated in the system, in process mode, choose " start bdn" and then ,in the next screen, you check the file and click the download button, and you may get the data for this infocube.

Demo Content FI for consolidation system

we need to setup a demo-system for the consolidation. Therefore demo-content is needed, including data for the FI (general ledger). Sector doesn't matter.
Do you have any idea where we can get this demo-content?

I tried to open shine demo in my browser, i got the messages as like "Request execution failed due to missing privileges". I can realise that some roles needs to be assigned for me. Which role i should have to execute this.

Logic pro demo content dvd damaged

my demo content dvd has been damaged.Where could I go in internet to download it?

You can't, not legally at least..
Your best bet is actually give a quick call to Apple, who will resolve it as they can and still do, send out replacement DVDs in such cases...
One of my 'Additional Contents' disks became unreadable just before Christmas and they replaced it in 3 days....
So, contact them and let them know what has occured.

Logic cannot play a full song without error of the demo content provided.

I have airport turned off. No programs open, have had fresh defrag and cache cleanout. Logic is on my actual hard drive wich is a 320 gb western digital scorpio black 7200. I am using an apogee duet.

this is a message i see so many times even in my own tracks. how can i overcome this premature stopping of audio flow? is it my computer specs, the specs in logic? im not sure. Does anyone know how to get my Logic 8 perforing at its peak?

Safety buffer must be off - on is probably only useful on G4 systems. On faster machines it can ruin performance. Also: Software Monitoring takes a lot more CPU than the more used & useful (hardly any to no latency) Direct (Interface) monitoring.

Hello Experts. Documentation say that there is sample CSV files for modules that come with delivered BI content. I am planning to work with the demo content which i have already installed. I then need to populate the objects with the relevant demo data that is said to be in the CSV files that come with the demo content. Please let me know from where i can get these CSV files. Models in XI content for ESR in CE 7.1

I have been installing the Discovery System and a seperate CE 7.1 system with the ESR. Now I downloaded the XI content "XI Content ESA ECC-SE 602" and imported it. All went well except that there are no models included.
Is there any way of getting all the models related to the ECC 6.0 Enterprise Services shipped with the Discovery System as shown in the ES Workplace?
