SHIP-TO address from HR?

Hello all,
we would like that HR is maintaing Ship-To address for all users in EBP.
Which infotype is that?
Is that address transferred as user address (business partner address) or as another company ship-to address (like creating through "Edit internal adresses"?

In our scenario the default settings are catched by the user's attributes in the org structure. For example ship to address is brought by the attribute ADDR_SHIPT. I thought this was the standard functionning.

Not defaulting through the Ship to Address from a previously created Cart?

Hi Folks,
Does anyone know of a way that prevents a new Shopping Cart defaulting through an performance locations and ship to address from a previously created Cart?
The issue we have is that the system is holding the previously used one on all new Carts. Our preferance would be for the system to clear these fields out. I would be interested to hear how other sites have dealt with such an issue.

Ship to address on the service contract

The service contracts are getting created without ship to address from OM and IB.
Is there a way to get the ship to on to service contract automatically?

Hi Srini,
The standard functionality is for Ship to details to be passed to Warranty contracts from OM but not IB.
If this is not your experience please log an SR so support can investigate further.

SRM 7.0 Ship to Address contact details not pulling through

Hi all
We are using SRM 7.0. We want users to choose the ship to address from a predefined list. I have added a new ship to address to an existing company. However when I add new contact details (telephone number, fax and email) it does not keep the new contact details. It still keeps the old contact details as standard. So when the requestor chooses the new ship to address, the old contact details are pulled through and not the new ones. How do I get the new contact details to pull through for the new address and the old contact details to remain for the old address.

Iphoto '11 change shipping address from US to Canada

Iphoto 9.4.3 I would like to change the shipping address from US to a Canadian address. Presently the Iphoto is set for US address only. Can anyone provide the steps how to change the settings?

Generally you can not - maybe you can in this case - try in the iphoto preferences change the print product country to Canada and then order using a Canidian shipping address

Seperating Shipping address from Invoice Table

Ship Address gets stored in one field address in OINV or ORDR Table
any way to link that to master Address table to get address separated by address1,address2,city,state and zip

This query will pull the address components from crd1 as they exists at the time the query is run, not when the order/invoice was posted. Just a warning.
Since there is nothing to stop a user from editing an existing address, this query could returned a parsed address that is different in every respect except address name and address type from the address that was actually used for the order or invoice on the logistics tab.
If what you really need is the parsed out address from the logistics tab, you have some work ahead of you. I've got a rudimentary parser that I have written, and it works fairly well for US addresses, but for international addresses, due to differences in logistics tab address formats, it breaks down.

How to retrieve name4 data from backend for display on View Ship-to Address

I need your advise / help:
I added name4 in shiptodetails1.jsp for new ship-to address when ordering. This name4 can be entered, saved to backend and display before submit rder. but when dispaly the created order, the name4 data is not shown on View Ship-to party Address page. Seems address.getName4() is not enough, I need to modify some method to retrieve the data from backend address object. Can anyone guide me what and how to enhance forretrieving name4 data from backend, so it can display on View Ship-to Address?
Any advises / suggestions?

I hope you already found the solution but here some more detail.
I am working on ISA with ECC so I do not have an access to CRM system.
As you are facing problem to retrieve data from back-end while displaying it on order status page you can debug code of class DetailStrategyR3.class.
There is a method fillDocument this method call RFC BAPI_ISAORDER_GETDETAILEDLIST. This RFC actually read Order related data from backend and fill the SalesDocument object. Method fillDocument also call other methods like fillShipTo.
During debug in NWDS you can see address data and check the values of Address object. If Name3 or Name4 and nickName contains no value then you can't get it on JSP page because it is not coming from the RFC.
So I suggest you should first check DetailStrategyR3.class as it is preparing Document for display purpose. When you open any order on orderstatusdetail page this class comes in Action and prepare SalesDocumet with all necessary information including Ship to Address of that order. So If here you do not get value in Name3, Name4 or Nickname then you have to do some custom development
Check Below code while debug in NWDS.

Check shipTo object in "Variable" window while debugging. Here you will get address object and can see all the variable value like FirstName, LastName, Name1, NAme2, Name3...NickName etc..... If no value in Name3, Name4 then you will not get on Page.
I hope this will help you to understand why Name3-Name4-Nickname does not have a Value though you have provided while creating an order.

Can we not delete shipping addresses from Apple Pay once submitted?

I entered the wrong zip code by accident and now cannot delete the shipping address.

I'm also wondering where Apple Pay pulled my billing and shipping addresses from in the first place. iTunes? My Contacts card? Strangely, it appears to use only one billing address even though you could conceivably have a different address for each card. Like the OP above, I see that I'm able to add new addresses, but then there doesn't appear to be any way to remove the old ones.

Ship to address not copied to EDI from SRM SC

We have SRM 7.0 with ECC 4.5 classic scenario.
When a shopping cart with more than one item is created, the Ship to address is not sent to EDI document through the PO in ECC.
I checked the IDOC and noticed that when the PO has one item the delivery address is being populated in EDI and it is shown in header information in the IDOC.
When the PO has more than one item, the delivery address is not sent in the header of the IDOC but it is present in the item level in the IDOC for all items.
The PO document has the delivery address same as Shopping cart.
But the EDI document is not having the Ship to address.
Please let me know where could this be going wrong.

Monitor the changes of Ship to address in Sales Order

Hi,
My client has an requirment which they would like to monitor whether the ship-to-address has been modified after the order were save.
e.g.
Sold-to 12345
Ship-to 12356
SAVE the order
After the order are sale and sometime later, the user went in VA02 and update the ship-to-address to 23456
now
sold-to 12345
ship-to 23456
It there anyway we can have a report to check if the ship-to has been changes?

Hello Rebella,
The best option of monitering the changes incurred fro the Ship-to-Party details of a SALES ORDER are as follows:
If you are interested to pick up the information of changes values of Ship-To-Party from a Sales Order then i think you can use the table VBPA. This table will contain the updated value of Ship-To-Party partner function of a Sales Order.
Second option would be to use a program which actually run when you open a Sales Order in VA03 --> Environment --> Changes. You can develop a t-code which shall call this program.
You can also use the T-code AUT10 for tracking changes for a Sales Order.

How do I delete an old home address from autofill?

I bought some tape from a company called Tape Brothers. I entered my home address for billing and shipping. Somehow during the process, it used autofill to add my old address from another state I lived in 18 months ago, and filled in THAT address. In the website's own account information for me it shows my new address first, and my old address second, buy autofill apparently filled in the old address instead. The 'expert' at the vendor site told me that the problem wasn't their system, but my autofil function of Firefox. Is there a way for me to delete that old address so that it can never autofil it again? If I completely delete Firefox and reload it, will that fix my issue?

You can check if that got removed by revisiting the page and check the drop-down list.
If you highlight an entry and press the Delete key then that entry should be gone if you click the down arrow again.
I'm not sure if this is a normal autocomplete (saved form data) or a name/password combination, but this should work in both cases.
Saved names and passwords can be found in the Password Manager.

For saved form data there isn't a user interface to inspect and manage items that Firefox has stored and the only way to check for those is to visit the page where you saved them and check the drop-down list if the input field.

Error while updating Ship to Address on Sales Order form

A user is trying to update the ship to address on a standard sales orders screen, this is pretty common and never caused any issues. However with one particular order the user gets the following error :
"You cannot update Ship To Location; the standard value rule set prevents override. "
This is an Oracle shipped message and not custom code. The message name is OE_SEC_UPDATE_VIOLATION whose text is : You cannot update &ATTRIBUTE; &REASON
Seems like REASON is the message : OE_SEC_SV_VIOLATION, whose text is
" the standard value rule set prevents override. "
This is a message shipped by Oracle Order entry. I am not able to locate this message since the oracle shipped files are not available to us and this is not in any database code(i searched the code)
Does anyone know when this message is thrown. It seems like some value set error but am not able to figure out where it is being set.
Any help in this will be appreciated.

Did you check if any Processing rule is defined for Ship to location update :
Setup> Rules > Security > Processing constraint ?
Maybe this order matches condition that prevents this field from being updated.

BP master data ship to address show in SO

Dear All,
In the BP master data, there is a Addresses tab, inside this tab, there is the Ship to address with Address Name, Zip Code, State... etc.
In the Sales Order, there is a Logistic tab, in the Ship to, user can select which address want to be selected for the default ship to address, in the textbox of the ship to address, would like to enquiry how to set which line of Ship to address can set in here? for example, i just want to display the Address Name and State, but not the Zip Code.

Do the setting in
Administration > setup > Business Partner > Address Format
1. Go to Find Mode
2. Press *
3. Select your Country code
4. Change the Address Format as you wish.
5. Restart SAP Once Again.
--- See to that all other users are logged out from SAP B1
