Ship-to Address" screen in SRM browser need to change to display only

Hi Freinds,
Ship-To Address" screen in SRM browser needs to change to "Display" only. The users shouldn´t have the possibility to change the delivery address in the screen to their own private address.
Is it possbile to do any changes in SRM itself or else its purely JAVA HTML work.
Kindly i need you guys help to resolve the above development.

Solution given by Suneel should be OK.
Nevertheless, if Ship-To must be only in display mode for all users (independently of their role) and only for particular document types, you can manage it with partner schema:
SAP Implementation Guide > SAP Supplier Relationship Management > SRM Server > Cross-Application Basic Settings > Define Partner Schema
Then maintain this partner schema ID to your concerned document type:
SAP Implementation Guide > SAP Supplier Relationship Management > SRM Server > Cross-Application Basic Settings > Define Transaction Types

I have a requirement to delete the default flag that will be set in ship to address screen in shopping cart in SRM system.
I am able to view the list of ship to address throuh Edit internal address ( transaction BBPADDRINTC) and I am able to change the default. The requirement is, the requester should not set default at all so it should be cleared even if he sets.
I tried with Badi - BUPA_ADDR_UPDATE. But couldn't find it useful.
Please guide me on this.

The first is global to all accounts while the second is in your home directory. The X's are a sequence of hyphaninated letters and numbers. If you can get these removed then it will probably revert to a default resolution.

How to add a custom field to Ship-to address screen

Hi all,
I have to add a custom field for Plant in the Ship-To address subscreen(BBPSC01).
I have added the field in the program saplbbp_sc_ui_its in screen 310.
But I think need to write the HTML code/Java script in HTML template to trigger the code from module pool.
As I am new to HTML/Java script, Can any one please let me know the procedure to follow.

I have a customer account statement in smartform . For multiple customers the clients wants the print dialog to be displayed only once and the options mentioned in the first display to be carried for other customer accounts . Please any suggestions for the same .

If using a custom print program you can achieve this using functions SSF_OPEN and SSF_CLOSE:

This way the print dialog will be displayed only once no matter how many times the smartform is called.

Disabling ship-to-address field on the SRM 7.0 portal.

Hi All,
The requirement is to disable the ship-to-address field for user input on the portal.
I have some information about the table /SAPSRM/V_MDF_IC. Here some entries has to be maintained.
But I am not able to get what would be the exact data entry to disable the ship-to-address field.
Please let me know the correct data and procedure to do this.

in standard SRM , if you maintained ship to address attribute or copy ship to address default you might inherit all the user ship to address default.
but your requirement is no user should not edit the ship to address
in SRM 5.0 we have undo address button under ship to address .
if you click undo address all the address will be cleared and now user can enter his desired ship to address.
so now you need to protect this functionality. you must keep access for only dispaly the ship to address not allow to enter ship to address.
In srm 7.0 you dont have undo entries ? i am not much aware of srm 7.0 screens . customer requirement is valid.

Ship-to-address to be transferred to the backend

We are running on SRM 4.0(Classic scenario).The Backend version is 4.7.We have a requirement that the Ship-to-address in SRM (if changed) should be transferred to the Backend.
We have the multiple ship-to-addresses maintained in EBP via web and added it in ppoma_bbp as default.
Now as per our reqt,when the requisitioner goes in teh Ship-to-address details node while creating the SC,he is able to view the deafult ship-to-address maintained in attributes,but if he changes the address here,the change address should flow to the Backend when the PR gets created..
As per our analysis,we have found the foll notes which seem to be relevant for our scenario --
1>767461
2>760824
3>576665
4>450425
5>427906
Has anybody implemented this before and among the above notes,which of these are to be applied(for SRM 4.0)?
Also,as per note 767461,note 358741 is a prerequisite,but since we are on R/3 4.7,this note shouldn't be applicable.Any suggestions on this??

Does anyone know if we can make 'COUNTY' field required when customer creates ship to address on the fly. This is just for US only as county concept is more appropriate for US. Please respond

I am not sure if this can be derived via setup, however you can have a look. My option would be to make a small modification to the .jsp page and make a check that if US is selected as a country the customer will have to enter the county.
You can do so by a simple java script on the page where they enter it and if you want to make it really nice you can create a check that when the information in posted to the server from the browser you verify that county is filled when the country is US. If this is the case just go ahead if not present a message to the user and request him to complete the form correctly.

Default PO Ship To Address

Hi All
I am suffering from a mental block and need some assistance. We have just changed our trading name and I have changed everything except the default PO ship to address and I cannot find where to change it. I have checked every where that I can think of but cannot find the old address that is defaulting into the ship to field.

Then automatically the new address will be updated in new purchasing documents.

Populating Ship-to-address

Hi all,
I have to populate the default address into ship-to-address/performance location when the user attributes have incorrect address. If the user attributes are correct it is getting defaulted correctly. If it is incorrect i want to populate that adress, so i have implemented the BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI (BBP_SC_CHANGE). Here i have internal table it_partner where i can get the address details. And in chaging et_partner table i want to insert a row for partner function '23'. But it is not updating that row.
Can any one help me how to proceed or any other BADI to update the address. thanks in advance.

   If you are using the table it_partner,you can check for the record where partner no is 27(For Ship to address).But when you are using the CHANGE badi,you need to move the data frm all the importing tables to the changing tables.
i.e. move it_item[] to et_item[].
    move it_account[] to et_account[].
    move it_partner[] to et_partner[].
    move it_orgdata[] to et_orgdata[].
    move it_hcf[] to et_hcf[].
    move it_icf[] to et_icf[].

Why Street prefix and suffix are not provided in ship to address?

Hi Experts,
Anyone have any idea why SAP provided Street prefix and Suffix fields in "BBPADDRINTC (Edit Internal Address)" screen but not in Ship to address screen of shopping cart.
Is there any OSS note which can include these fields into ship to address screen. Please advise.

Even though the fields Street Prefix / Sufix are available in the address maintenance screen (BBPADDRINTC), they are not available in the procurement documents, like Purchase Orders or Shopping Carts.
The fields STR_SUPPL1 (prefix) and STR_SUPPL3 (suffix) are not implemented in such screens.
According SAP developers, it is not possible to provide a note to change this behavior at this time, since it is part of the design and, making a change, would require changing all other documents and versions.

In our company data was migrated from old system(V-4.7) to new system(ECC 6.0), here few open sales order also migrated. when open sales order migrating to new system at that time Sold to -A and Ship to- B but when subsequent delivery takes place Sold to and Ship to are same i.e "A". Can you explain why it is happen and how guide me how to resolve the.issue.
Please let me know that when we have the Different ship to parties, we should maintian the Ship to parties in Sold to patries ?

First of all Pl. Check Weather you have maintained Master Data for Ship to Address Party in your new System.
If you want for every SALES ORDER whose Sold TO Party is A there should be Ship to Party B. Then Goto Customer Master(XD02).Under Partner Function Tab Give Ship to Party B apposite to SE tab.
Well There is no need to maintain different ship to parties to Sold to patries :
If you want to change Ship to Address for whole sale Order (Without any change to Master Address of particular Sold to Party A). : GoTo Header Details -> then Goto Partners Tab-> There Double Click on Partner field corresponding to Ship to Party.There Give what ever address you want to send to.
By Doing this for that particular Sales Order Ship to Party Address will be Different.

Usually TR are created by Basis team, if you don't know the process who is suppose to create TR, ask your manager to get the same.
Once after you are given the TR then save the changes in the TR.
Once done the changes in development system, you need to test it in test system( Quality client) then you need to request for User to test(UAT). After confirming the changes by User then you need to move these changes to Production.
But some times for some clients will do testing both in Development as well as Quality client.depends on client process. But testing is mandatory.
The above process usually followed by most of the clients.Check your client process exactly how it is followed then proceed further.

I have created a screen layout wherein all fields are marked for display only. I assigned this screen layout in a functional authorization for buyers. When I checked, there are still fields left editable such as:
1. Purch Org
2. Company Code
3. Conditions
4. Line Item number
5. All fields in account assignment tab of line item
I want all fields to be display only. How will I do it?

If you need all the fields to be in display mode assigned to the buyer. Remove the Authorization of ME21N from the user using the T Code SU01.
