Shipment start / selection report

Dear gurus,
Is there any standard report of the logistic execution through which i can call all the shipment that have the "shipment start" status, so that user choose that shipment and mark the the shipment "shipment end".
Looking for the gurus response.

Transaction: VT11
Select the Overall transportation status as 6 - Shipment Start in the Status and Deadlines section.
After you execute, it will show all the shipments which are in the status "Shipment Start".
The select the shipments to close and click the button Mass Change.
Then in the third tab, Actual deadlines and status - You can update all the dates you want.

Try these below steps:
In Business One from the main menu go to Administration -> License -> License Administration.
Select the user you wish to connect to the XL reporter.
Assign the user the SAP AddOn License.

How to start WAD report from MSS with Hierarchy ?

Hello to all.
I have a WAD Report that the parameters for it are: Org unit - as the root, and a year/month.
The report receive an org unit and display data for it and for all org units under it in the Org. structure.
I start the report from the MSS.
In R/3 in table T77MWBBWS I created an entry for that report with Reference char. = "ORG_STRU" instead of "0orgunit".
The report ignores the Org unit that I choose from the MSS selection screen, and starts with the Root Org unit of my Org structure.
What to do in order to start the report with the Org unit that i select and to get results for all the org. units under it ?

I want to know how the org unit which is selected on MSS screen is passed to backend R/3 report (which is using PNP logical db)

Auto PGI Deliveries at Shipment Start

How to auto-PGI attached deliveries when Shipment Start Status is set on a shipment. It seems it can be done by setting an activity profile. Not sure how.

1. You can se the indicator for Dialog Box & get the desired field from the button field selection
result: this will give a pop up during the Shipment Start e.g field DRIVER as Pop Up.
2.Issue Log during save.
If you do not want the log to be issued you can set the corresponding indicator
3. Post Goods Issue
Set it for Loading end or Shipment Start depending according to Business
4. Further actions after saving
Set the indicator of Carryout Billing so that Billing document is created
5. Print Outs
Here you can set the indicator for the desired output Type, Output medium (print out of Billing Documnets, Shipment Documents e.g) you can choose what print outs you need out of Shipment Document, Handling Unit, Delivery & Billing Document

Calling/starting a report from Sql Server

Hello.
I have to get a storage movement starting from a Sql Server Platform.
I found out the function BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE which, getting the main data from an internal
table, could create a movement in MSEG/MKPF (I suppose, I haven’t used it yet).
But if I create a report using BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE which gets the data from an internal table
(filled by a Sql Server table), how can I tell to Sap to execute it?
Is it the only way to schedule this report in SAP every (i.e.) 5 minutes reading if there are
data in Sql Server?
Isn’t there a “trigger” to start a report in SAP from Sql Server/Windows?

It depends on what method you use to read data i.e. Data Context class, Entity Framework for SQL-Server we can get data directly from the database easily.
The following has two very simply examples using data context classes and the same came be done with Entity Framework which has an even more powerful version of data context implementation under 6 and above

Shipment start & Shipment end tab disabled in VT01n

Hi All.,.
While creating the shipment . The shipment Start & END tabs are disables. But for Other transportation point those are enable.
Is there any config settinng to enable those to tab. Please provide some feedback.

Check the 0VTL transaction and check for any activity profile assigned to your shipment type .
The activity profile is used to define possible activities that are to be performed for planning a shipment.
if any of this is not perform you can't do shipment begin and end . Please check the report RV56ABST , activity profile is nothing but same as variant for this report .

I always have a problem in starting the reports. Most of the times I will get the error Could not connect to GSM server servername:6800 why I am getting this error all the time. What exactly this GSM server do .

1) Check whether your BI services started or not
if it is started
2) your configuration has some problem
every Hyperion system has one GSM (Global Service manager)

there should be a script rwbuilder.sh
in ORACLE_HOME/bin for 10.1.2.
in ORACLE_INSTANCE/config/reports/bin for 11g
Of course, you need to have a "X Display Server " up and running and the variable DISPLAY must be set to this "X Display Server "
Example :
export DISPLAY=123.456.789.12:0
$ORACLE_HOME/bin/rwbuilder.sh

How to get blank records at the start of report output for label sheet?

What is the best way to get an arbitrary # of blank records at the start of report output?
I am writing a report that will be printed out on label sheets -- some of which might already be used. For example, there might be 3 labels per page but the first 2 have been used the last time the report was run.. so the report needs to display 2 blank records first so that the first record that gets printed on a label is in the 3rd position on the page. (the user would indicate - through a parameter - what the starting postion would be)

Create a user parameter that reads in the number of blanks you need to 'print' before starting the actual printing.
In the Format trigger of the outermost frame of your report write code using SRW.SET_BEFORE_PRINTING_CODE.
Loop this method based on the user parameter and call this method with skip-line-command of your printer as its argument.

When trying to start the reports service from 9iAS, i am getting error message as "REP-0001 Unable to open the message file", and in the Window Title it shows "Message 16200 not found, No message file for product rw".

Hi,
You(The user) need to have access permission to read the mesg files. The DBA installing Reports will be able to run the reports.
Grant read access to rwus.msb and rwus.msg files on $ORACLE_HOME/reports/mesg/

See note 564350.1.
Basically don't create a new concurrent program. Instead:
1. Create a new RDF and change the executable on APINVSEL to your new executable
2. Create a new BI Publisher RTF Template and duplicate APINVSEL rtf, making sure the Data Template is same as source one.
3. In System Administration (note not System Administrator) go to Concurrent, Program, query APINVSEL, click OnSite settings and change to your custom template.

"Selected report cannot be loaded" when running published crystal analysis

When running published crystal analysis reports (*.car) within Crystal Enterprise 10 i receive the message below. This is happening to all published crystal analysis reports. Can open the reports fine within Crystal Analysis Professional itself.
"Crystal Analysis Professional - The selected report cannot be loaded because one or more required parameters do not have an assigned value. "

If I memory servers, you have to open the Crystal_Regwiz2003.msm in the .NET deployment project. One of the properties of the msm was Keycode (or similar). You entered the keycode here. To find your keycode; in VS2003 IDE, go to the Help | About screen. You will see one of the installed components as Crystal Reports and the keycode will be on the right of that. Copy the keycode from here, paste in the above.
