Shipping From Canada to the US

Hello, I was wonder if I can ship from Canada to my friend in the U.S?
I really wanted to use the engraving option and I have been struggling to find a solution for this.
Also, I don't own a credit card, but I was wondering if I can purchase say a $200 prepaid visa card and then a $25 one (Since the purchase will go above $200) and then use that as my method of payment?
If this is not possible, then would there be any other solution for this?
Please please help me out.
Thanks lots! :]

The Canadian Apple Store will ship only to Canadian addresses. You would have to order the iPod and have it shipped to you - you'll need to call the Apple Store to discuss payment options - and then send the iPod to your friend yourself.
Regards.

  • How do I move my iTunes Store account from Canada to the US?

I recently moved from Canada to the US, but when I try to change my iTunes account from Canada to the US, I get an error: "Your request is temporarily unable to be processed." I've followed the instructions over and over, and contacted iTunes Store support, but it keeps happening. I've even de-authorized all the devices I had authorized for the account, and yet that still didn't fix the problem.
This has been going on for three weeks and I'm getting totally exasperated. Apple has been totally unhelpful.
    Help?

    Adam,
Get in touch with iTunes Customer Service at their web page.
When you write to them, pls follow these guidelines:
Do not refer to the prior interactions.  Explain the problem without emotion.
Make clear that you have already executed the "Change Country" to the USA iTunes Store.
Make clear that you are using a USA-issued credit card with a USA billing address, and that you were physically in the USA when you attempted to use it at the iTunes Store.
Make clear that you have successfully used this same card at other e-commerce sites in the USA.  (If this is not already true, make it true by buying an MP3 for 99 cents at amazon.com)

  • After moving from Canada to the US, getting a new iPhone 5C, and restoring my backup from iCloud, I can't update my apps. I get an error message that my account is not valid in the Canadian App store and I must change to the US store. How do I do that?

    Change here:
Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID: > View Apple ID > Country/Region.
You must have a verified billing address & be located in the country whose store you are trying to use.

Have you set the Print Products Store to Canada in the iPhoto Preferences > Advanced Panel?
    This determines the address format.
And your billing address and shipping address must be in the same country, as defined for your AppleID and credit card.

    Yes.

  • Officially unlocked iPhone from Canada in the US

If buy a unlocked iPhone from Canada and want to use it in the states, can i still get warranty services and apple support in the states ?

If you have to get a replacement phone for any reason, you will probably have to get it from Canada. The service replacements stocked at US Apple Stores are locked to AT&T.
From the Apple iPhone 4 Warranty: "Apple may restrict service to the country where Apple or its
Authorized Distributors originally sold the hardware product." http://images.apple.com/legal/warranty/docs/iPhone4warranty.pdf

  • Sending calendars from Canada to the US

Is there any way to send calendars from Canada to the US? Thought I have done it in the past.

That is the only way - if it does not work then you will have to reship
and I would suggest a change to Apple - iPhoto menu ==> provide iPhoto feedback

  • Is there a way for me to send an ipod from canada to the USA online?

does anyone know if i can end an ipod from canada online to usa online? i mean can i send someone in the usa a ipod from canada online?

If you buy from Amazon or MacMall or other online store, you may be able to have it shipped to wherever you want. Amazon gives you the option of shipping to an address other that your own. I ordered my Touch 5 from MacMall and there were no shipping charges because of the price ($284.99 for the 32GB model). You may have to pay shipping charges to Canada.

  • How to activate Iphone 5 shipped from Canada to Philippines

    Hello,
How do I activate or open line my Iphone 5? I don't even know the apple I.D of the previous user of my Iphone 5. It came from Canada, it was a second hand Iphone. My auntie bought it from her friend I think and she didn't even ask for the apple I.D of her friend. So how do I activate this Iphone5?
I appreciate somebody who could help.
    Thanks.

If it has been activated already and not released by the previous owner, it will be very difficult to make it yours. Especially if it has iOS 7 or newer. See if you can get it to erase itself on Settings / General /  Reset / Erase All Contents and Settings. If it works, you're in luck and can then set it up as new. Else you will be stuck with a brick. Maybe the previous owner, if reachable, can carry out as much as she can of this:  What to do before selling or giving away your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

  • How do you change your account to reflect moving from Canada to the United States?

    Hi there!  Merry Christmas!
Just wondering how you can update and iTunes account with new credit card information from an American bank when my account doesn't allow me to change my country to the United States.  I moved from Canada and have an outstanding bill that I can't pay iTunes with b/c my credit card there has been closed.
    Any suggestions?

Because of copyright restrictions by publishers, it is not possible to change your account from one country to another. Your best chance is contacting iTunes Store customer support.

  • Is i message free any where in  the world ie from canada to the philippines

is imessage free any where in the world ie canada to the philippines

    Rogerio,
I have never seen a router like you have and I wouldn't dare advise you about changing the settings. It appears that it is a router/modem that was provided by your ISP. If this is the case, I recommend that you call your ISP and ask them for Port Forwarding assistance. You need to forward port 80 to the LAN IP address of your camera. The LAN IP address of your camera is the IP address that you use to log into the web interface. You should not need to change any settings on the camera. After you have had the ISP help you forward the port to the camera, go to ipchicken.com and you will see your WAN IP address. Write that address down and then go to a remote location and type it into your web browser. You should get the login page of the camera. Note that your WAN IP is subject to change. You can ask your ISP to provide you with a static IP address which will be an additional charge each month but your IP address will not change. Another option is to use a service such as dyndns to create a unique URL that you can use to access the camera remotely even if your WAN IP address changes. We can discuss that after you get access to the camera if you have further questions.

  • Why can't I change my shipping address from Canada to the US when sending a calendar through iPhoto?

I have ordered iPhoto calendars to my home in Canada, but would now like to send the same calendar to the US.  Why will iPhoto not allow me to add a US address for shipping?  I can fill in the zip code & state, but there is no toggle to US (it only give Canada as an option).

Because you have a Canadian iTunes/app store account/apple ID  and you must have a valid billing method and address in the country your "store" is in.
As far as sending items as gifts, I have no idea.

  • USPS service instead of Canada Post from Canada to the US

I am happy to report that I will abandon Canada Post for most of my delivery starting in a few days. After searching for more than 1 year a way to get US packages cheaper and with tracking (It cost me about 17$ to get tracking on a 400 gram shirt) I have found a service provider, 5 minutes driving distance from my house on top of that, who will be offering USPS delivery service. He will have a truck that will go to the US once per day. Cost of that same shirt, with tracking, 7$. I spend about 800$ per months in delivery fees and Canada Post will loose that. I am sure they don't care but I will care to save more than 70% on each delivery! I will keep using Canada Post for their expedited delivery service in Canada but that only counts for about 10% of my business!
    Good times ahead!

Good times ahead!Great to hear, good for you and I am 100% sincere in that. I dream of getting out from under the oppresive bully monopoly known as Canada Post. I hoped, after reading your post, that you might be somewhere close to me but alas you are in Quebec. In Toronto here it appears that we only have Chit Chats Express to deal with and my own experience with them has been very much less than favorable. Anyway, best of luck mate Cheers, thD
