Shipping Point/Receiving Point

HI,
i would like to create inbout delivery in reference to PO. In tab "Shipment" i can't edit item "Shipping Point/Receiving Point". How to do it editable?
Thank you in advance.
Kasia Gac

Hello,
The receiving point is there in the Unload tab in ECC6.0 and it is an editable field only (when you use the transaction VL31n). you can enter the receiving point that is assinged to the storage location.
The config can be seen in Logistics Execution>Shipping>Basic Shipping Functions>Shipping Point and Goods Receiving Point Determination>Assign Goods Receiving Points for Inbound Deliveries..

  • Unloading Point & Receiving Point Not Visible in Invoice.

    Hi All,
I have one condition type YFRT which is get updated on  Unloading Point & Receiving Point.
I want to update it in Invoice but in invoice nowhere i can see  Unloading Point & Receiving Point.
ie. which gets copied from SO.
Now its showing  Unloading Point & Receiving Point missing when i update the condition in Invoice.
Condition record is maintained on  Unloading Point & Receiving Point.
    How to proceed?
    Reg,
    Antaa21

    Hi
Does it get populated in your sales order ? THe reason I ask is that if you calculate the condition in the order and do not recalculate it at the time of invoicing you should get the condition copied as-is.
Anyway, if you need to fill the shipping point in the pricing structure, KOMK, you can use exit RV60AFZZ. Here you can add a logic telling the system where to find the value and set it in the invoice pricing.
    Does it help you ?
    best regards

  • Missing shipping point/receiving pt

    Hello,
I have a problem with shipping determination. I have created my shipping conditions assigned in customer record, assigned loading grp in material record, did customizations like sales doc type/shipping condition, replaced LF with my delivery type, config SC- Loading grp-plant-proposed shipping point.  But when i create Sales order and item, shipping tab does not automatically show 'shipping point'. Basically, it is not getting determined? Any ideas, clues. When I give manually the shipping point, the error message is
"Ship.condition 01 loading grp Z001 plant ZVK StLoc  not defined" but my delv type is custom one and assigned in sales order and also my SC is assigned to Sales order type in IMG. What is the problem?
Please help. Points will be awarded.
    Thanks

  • Receiving point in Shipping notification

    Hi all,
I would like to make the Receiving Point (LIKP-VSTEL) changeable in the Shipping notification, is that possible?
    Thank you very much,
    Annabelle

Hello, we have been able to solve this issue.
The problem was that when we created an inbound delivery from an NB purchase order, the receiving point was not automatically determined in the header Shipment view. And the field was not changeable. So users were not able to cancel a goods movement via VL09: "GI for delivery & cannot be canceled for the following reasons: You are not authorized to cancel the goods issue for shipping point &".
The reason is that in inbound delivery, as per the standard functionality the receiving point is grayed out. In order to open the field the standard program needs to be modified.
If you want your system to determine the receiving point automatically: IMG > LE > Shipping > Basic Function > Shipping Point and Goods Receiving Point Determination > Assign Goods Receiving Point for Inbound Deliveries.
Then the receiving point will be determined automatically when you complete the storage location in the purchase order.
    Regards, Annabelle

  • Receiving point not saved in VA01

    Guru's,
I working with the client who wanted to store the Unloading point and Receiving point during the VA01 (Order entry time).  It works perfect when we enter these 2 values at the header level but it's not working when we enter at the line item level.
Please create sales order with at least 2 different items and entry the unloading point and receiving point.  Save the order.   When you display the order (VA03), double click on the item level and click "Shipping" tab, you will notice only the Unloading point got saved but the Receiving point did not save.
When I recall the same order in VA02 and maintain the Receiving point, it then saves the data.
The problem we are facing is only during the first entry time.
Any help on this will be greatly appreciated and points will be rewards ASAP.
Please respond to my email [email protected]
    Thank you very much,

  • JMS Receiver error: Null pointer received from QueueConnectionFactory JNDI

    Hello gurus,
I need integrate PI 7.1 with EMS Tibco.
    I deployed the jar files:
    tibrvjms.jar
    tibjmsufo.jar
    tibjmsapps.jar
    tibjmsadmin.jar
    tibjms.jar
    tibemsd_sec.jar
    slf4j-simple-1.4.2.jar
    slf4j-api-1.4.2.jar
    jms.jar
(and then restard the j2ee engine).
    Hi,
I put the following parameters at the JMS Receiver Communication Channel in Integration Directory :
Transport Protocol : Access JMS Provider with JNDI
JNDI Lookup Name of QueueConnectionFactory : QueueConnectionFactory (and I try too with GenericConnectionFactory)
JNDI Lookup Name of jms queue : SAPToTibcoQueue
Name of JNDI initial context factory : com.tibco.tibjms.naming.TibjmsInitialContextFactory
    JNDI server address : tibjmsnaming://172.18.xxx.xx:7222
In the RWB the JMS Channel is red with the following error message :
"Receiver channel. Details: Null pointer received from QueueConnectionFactory JNDI lookup."
    Can someone help me?
    Thanks in Advanced!!

    HI,
Can you try these below options.
    1) Can you please check whether you have deployed all the below jar files.
    crimson.jar
    jaxp.jar
    jcert.jar
    jms.jar
    jndi.jar
    jnet.jar
    jsse.jar
    jta-spec1_0_1.jar
    tibcrypt.jar
    tibjms.jar
    tibjmsadmin.jar
    tibjmsapps.jar
    tibrvjms.jar
    2) there is a service which is called either Classloader Viewer or Classpath Resolver on the server node in the J2EE Visual Admin. In that service you see a list of all deployed sdas, so you can check for jmsproviderlib. Then if you click on that to open, it should show you all the jar files that came in with the deployment.

  • Multiple receiving points for BPEL

Can we bind one BPEL to multiple Adapters, for e.g. File and JMS adapters calls the same BPEL as well as we should be able to send SOAP messages from a SOAP client to the same BPEL? (Multiple receiving points for one BPEL)
here is what i need to do
To create an adapter we create an partner link and bind that partner link with the "receive activity", as I understand we can bind only one partner link with "receive activity", but if I create a "file adapter" partner link and a "JMS adapter" partner link, how do I bind both of them with "receive activity"? so i dont need to write a seperate BPEL for each adapter.

I have a similar problem but the tutorial does not solve my problem and I think it does not solve the jms and file process either.
I want to have a process to receive a message, do things and then receive another message. The difference with the tutorial is that in the tutorial the Buyer is called, it calls to the seller and gets the response. In my case (and in the jms and file example), we wanto to get to receive the second time without invoking first to a process.
(In my case the client is the same, but need to send two messages, in the first message ask for a operation and gets an Id. In the second message it sends the Id to confirm the operation. I could do that with two processes, but I prefer to do it with one process if possible. I am trying to use the Id to correlate the second receive).
I am using correlations set and two roles for the process entry point (one for the first receive in the process and another for the second receive in the middle). But in the second role, when I see the generated WSDL from the console, the endpoint is something like http://set.by.caller, instead of a real endpoint.
How can the second client call my process ? what endpoint should it be using ?
Can a process expose two endpoints to be called ? How ?
    Thanks.

  • Broadcast and point to point server in the same port

I'm trying to set up a system where I can send point to point messages via sockets to certain ips, send broadcast messages to every pc in the network, and also be able to listen for point to point messages and broadcast messages, all in the same port. I've been able to establish a point to point connection using the Socket class to send the message, and using the ServerSocket class to listen for messages, but I can't seem to get broadcasting to work.
I read somewhere that for broadcasting one should use the DatagramSocket class. The problem is i'm not sure which ip i'm supposed to specify when I send the message. Also, do I need a special listener to listen for broadcast messages, or will the ServerSocket listener work for that?
This is what I have for the broadcasting part:
    String msg = myId;
    DatagramSocket sendSocket;
    sendSocket = new DatagramSocket(Constants.COM_PORT); // 4567
    InetAddress group = InetAddress.getByName(Constants.BROADCAST_ADDR); // "192.168.1.1"
    DatagramPacket dp = new DatagramPacket(msg.getBytes(), msg.getBytes().length, group, Constants.COM_PORT);
    sendSocket.send(dp);
    sendSocket.close();
    Thanks in advance
    Diego

It worth mentioning that UDP/broadcast and robust do go together easily.
    - UDP does not guarantee delivery. i.e. messages can be dropped and you won't be told. Lost packets are not retransmitted either.
    - UDP can fragment packets if larger than 532 bytes long.
    - UDP packets can arrive out of order (though I have never seen this myself)
If your receiver is under load/busy it can miss many packets if its buffers overflow.

  • Problem , about JMS sender in Point-to-Point Domains

    Hi all,
I study jms tutorial in chapter 4,and i have a question.
In the Point-to-Point example,i send two message(1,2),and then
    i send two message again(3,4).
Now,i start SimpleQueueReceiver to receiver the message,
it will show 3,1,2,4 in this sequence, but why?
    Why not 1,2,3,4
    Is it a queue?
    Could you help me?
    Thank you.

Ordering of messages is not guaranteed in case of multiple receivers.
This is so with single client also. But Most servers deliver the messages in the order it arrives.

  • Jmeter fails to test a BPEL with point to point JMS

    Hi all,
Do you have any idea to Jmeter testing with Oracle BPEL. I configured my Jmeter with a point to point JMS.Then I send a request to a Oracle JMS queue using BPEL locator API.An MDB listens to that request queue pickup the message payload and initiate the BPEL using that i/p payload.BPEL itself after finishes its task call a ws which sends the result to another JMS queue listened by Jemeter. Now when I run Jmeter with this conf BPEL initiates properly by the request queue listener MDB, Jmeter listening to that receive queue appropriately receives the message from the receiving queue, but unfortunately i can't get any response in Jemeter Result view Tree.Jmeter fails to render the specific result to it's view tree.
I have used following list of jars to send a message payload and receiving it by Jmeter to Jmeter lib.
    Apache Specific
    activemq-all-5.0.0.jar
    Oracle Specific
    javax77.jar
    jta.jar
    jms.jar
    oc4j.jar
    oc4j-internal.jar
    optic.jar
The jars are sufficient and enough to send a request to a Jms queue.I have wriiten an alternative oracle JMS client and used those Jars and did a lot of trial and error and finally reduced to this number of Jars. But why Jmeter can't render the result to its result view tree that I can't understand where it receives the result message successfully from the receive queue.
Any reply or suggestion is most welcome.
    Thanks in advance.

sorry for the late reply. The problem is that Oracle XDK is not compatible with the junitreport task. I believe there are some post install steps (due to licensing issues) that you need to perform before running the ant task. This is noted in the release notes (copied below):
    1. base site for xalan is http://xml.apache.org/xalan-j/ site. to download, go to: http://www.apache.org/dyn/closer.cgi/xml/xalan-j. then from the recommended mirror site download xalan-j_2_7_0-bin.zip.
    2. unzip this file.
    3. copy unzip_dir\xalan-j_2_7_0\serializer.jar to Oracle_Home\bpel\lib\serializer_2.7.0.jar. copy unzip_dir\xalan-j_2_7_0\xalan.jar to Oracle_Home\bpel\lib\xalan_2.7.0.jar. Note the filename change
    4. no change to obsetenv is needed.

    Hello,
since the interface counters have never been cleared, it is kind of hard to tell how fast these errors are actually increasing, but the number of input and crc errors, as well as the amount of interface resets points to some problem with either the hardware, or the provider side of the circuit.
The output drops would actually tell you that you are trying to send too much data over the line, and the traffic is being dropped, which would not necessarily mean a problem with the equipment...

  • JMS MQ Point to Point.

    Hi Guys ,
need to ask a little bit of concept here
    Lets Say
    i have a sender A send to Queue B
Then in another end somewhere there is an existing instance listening to this Queue B
at the moment A send messages to Queue B , the messages will be extracted by the instance which is listening to Queue B?
then if i created a new receiver , it cannot extract message from B since its point to point so
there should be one sender and one receiver??
or many sender but one recevier??

    Your understanding is correct.
    For Point to Point
Can have multiple senders and consumers but each message will be read once and once only (assuming it isn't set to expire).
If you need a message to be read by more than one consumer you have to duplicate it and write it to a separate queue (or do something with message selectors)
    For Topics
Can have mutliple senders (publishers) and consumers (subscribers), each message will be available to all subscribers for the lifetime of the message

  • Can I use my Time Capsule with a point to point antenna?

We have a building about 400 feet away that I would like to install wireless cameras.  Can I use a point to point antenna with our time capsule or is there a better option?

The Time Capsule is too hard to get into. You can do this but the end result will be rather messy and for an expensive unit like the TC that is a waste.
Get a unit made for this job.. you only need a WAP..
