Shockwave for Directors has crashed error for 24 hours. Reloading does NOT work. Only having this problem on my personal laptop. What do I do?

All of my plugins are up to date. I have this problem on Firefox and 2 other browsers. Sending crash reports and reloading HAS NOT helped and I am very frustrated.

I had the same problem when I went to upgrade to 8 and then downgrade back to 7.7. To fix this is a little involved, but you can do it. Let me put it this way, I talked my mother through it on the phone, and she has a hard time finding the power button So no worries, I'll help you get back up and running. I am running Vista now, so I am going off of memory for Vista, so bear with me.
I would do the following:
1. Uninstall both iTunes and Quicktime by going to Control Panel-Add Remove Programs, and choosing first Quicktime then iTunes.
2. Clean your registry. Easy now, it is not that hard. To do it, go to http://www.ccleaner.com/download and download CCleaner. It is free and has NO spyware. Install it and run the registry cleaner. It will remove any trace of both programs from the registry. Now you have 2 choices.
3a. Now I would install iTunes 8. Because you already installed it once, it converted its database file that it uses to track the library and play lists up to the iTunes 8 standard.
3b. If you have no problem loosing your playlists and library settings, you can go back to iTunes 7.7. To do this, first search for "itunes.ttl". To do this, go to Start-Search Files and Folders- and type in "iTunes.ttl" Once the search finishes, it will tell you where it is located. Navigate there using Windows Explorer or My Computer and delete it. Now you can install iTunes 7.7 with out any errors. You will not loose any files! just your playlists and it will not remember what is in your library.
As far as adding your songs again, did you try to re-importing your music? If you go to the file menu-add folder to library. It will bring up a dialogue box that will allow you to browse to the folder with your music.

I appreciate the info and realize that the Nook App is not related to my Apple account but this too has stopped working. My situation first started with the Nook App not down loading and then has now spread to my IBook and new app downloads. I have checked into my ITunes account and the ID and password are correct and at times when I am asked to submit my Apple password such as setting up this Apple Support Community the ID and password work. My problem seems to be just with trying to use my ID and password when wanting to download new books or apps. I can go into the IBook, Nook, and App stores and seemingly download an item but when clicking on the new book or app nothing happens and I get a message that states it can not get into the ITunes store and it wants me to either try again or cancel. This message appears usually ten minutes after I have tried to make a purchase. At other times when I attempt to download a book or app I lose the screen and the IPad goes into the opening screen. Short of redoing my Apple account or deleting an app and attempting to reload the app (but this won't work because the App store won't load new apps) I don't have a clue what to do.

If you didn't back up the phone to iCloud or iTunes (on your computer) BEFORE attempting the update, the data will be lost.

EHP4 installation using EHPI : Error message: DDIC password does not work:

DDIC pwd for 001 is not same as 001,Will that be a problem ? But the Extraction requests for DDIC 000 client password. Are you sure UME comes into this scenario ?

Yes the hostname is SAPRBSBD-01.I am able telnet the IP 3300 and it works fine. FQDN SAPRBSBD-01.chen.local. The smicm service entries are with SAPRBSBD-01 but not with FQDN. Changing it to FQDN will help us to resolve the issue. Please suggest me.
Also the error refers to some RFC connection, any idea on that.

I was going to suggest - Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings, but if you are restoring to factory settings, that should restore the settings back to factory defaults. But if you are restoring from a backup, after restoring to factory settings, try resetting all of the settings and see if that fixes it.
It might be something in your backup.

I've been using Firefox for about 8 months and all of a sudden, last night, I can't bring up Gmail. I get a message "Bad Request error 400". I'm not having this problem on my other laptop.

This problem only exists on 1 laptop, not the other. Nothing has changed. I have run my Norton Security and checked for any viruses. Nothing showed up.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

Use recovery mode

For the 10^6 time -- JMF on Fedora does not work!

I've tried everything under the Sun (no pun intended), and I've seen many other people with this same problem, but no solution...
(1) I installed the performance pack version of JMF 2.1.1 for Linux.
(2) I modified my .bash_profile to read as follows...

Yes, I didn't make that clear (first thing in the morning). Even though the JMF Diagnostic applet doesn't work for me on RedHat 9.0 using the Java Plugin with JDK 1.4.2, JMF DOES work for me from the command line. It seems that the Java 1.4.2 Plugin isn't finding JMF on the path. For me, the Java 1.5 Plugin resolves this issue.

This is not Adobe. Rather user to user.
From whom did you purchase Premiere Elements 12? Or, did you purchase from an authorize reseller?
Either way, you are well beyond the typical money back within 30 days of purchase type of arrangement.
But, as I said, this is not Adobe with whom you are communicating here. If you purchased from Adobe, then refund decisions are from Adobe.
If you purchased from an authorized reseller, then you need to deal with that company's refund policy.
I am surprised but glad that you got through to Adobe/Chat/Tech Support people. Typically they will only deal with current version/purchased/registered, and it is well into version 13 by now (13 was released September 24, 2014). When did you contact Adobe? Do you have a case number with Adobe Tech? Did it give you a troubleshooting scheme to follow? Were you supposed to get back to it? Did it work after your interaction with Adobe Tech?
Post 2 of this thread highlights the things that worked for me when I was in situations such as your with Photoshop Elements 12 and Premiere Elements 12.
Have you gone through the drills
a. determining if the problem exists with and without the antivirus and firewall(s) disabled
b. creating a new User Account with Administrative Privileges and installing and running Premiere Elements 12 from there.

Replacing the LCD it's quite simple, just requires a lot of work and the correct tools, keep in mind that doing so will void your warranty and your phone might not be waterproof after this.

When I download the updated version of flashplayer to my new updated firefox, flashplayer will say it has successfully installed, but it still does not work?

When I go back to look at something (movie, song, etc.), Firefox again tells me that I need to update the latest flashplayer in which I have already done. We don't have a relationship with Puffin Browser, but it is the only viable option for Flash on iOS and Android that I'm aware of at the moment.
You'll need to work this out with the folks at Puffin.

We have done an upgrade from BOE 3.0 to 3.1 FP4 (using the import wizzard) and are not able to do OpenAnalytic linking anymore. We got the error 404 Missing Page.

Hi,
Following information might be helpful for resolving the issues.
Please login into CMC and make sure all Performance Management servers are Enabled and Started.
- Then, verify the Initialization User
1. On your performance management server, open the InitConfig.properties file and verify that the Initialization user name and password match those in the CMS.
This file is at:
<INSTALLDIR>/bobje/performance_management_120
The strings to search for are:
initialization.User=
initialization.Password=
2. Log into InfoView, and then click the Preferences button on the InfoView toolbar.
3. Click the Performance Management tab, and then check the name of the initialization logon user in the Change initialization logon user section is the same as the user name specified in the InitConfig.properties file.
4. Log into the Log into the CMC, and then click Users.
5. Check that the user defined in the InitConfig.properties is listed among the users.
6. From the CMC home page, click Settings > Rights and check that the initialization user has the appropriate rights.
You need to restart the performance management servers.
7. From the CMC home page, click Servers > Start Servers to restart all
servers.
If you are using performance management from a client machine - different from the machine hosting the performance manager server - you need to restart your computer.
I hope this should resolve the issue.
