Shockwave Player 12.1.3.153 not working on Opera 22 browser

I have just upgraded the Shockwave Player on my computer to the latest version (12.1.3.153). However, when I use Adobe's function to test the installation on my Opera 22 browser, the test fails. (No animation appears in the box).
I am currently using Opera 22 on a computer with Windows 7 64-Bit SP1. The Shockwave Player test works fine with the other browsers I have installed (IE, Firefox, Chrome). Any ideas on why the player is not working with Opera 22 and how to fix this?

As always: no.  The last Security Bulletin issued for Shockwave Player was http://helpx.adobe.com/security/products/shockwave/apsb14-10.html (March 13, 2014).

3.close my all browers which are running
after  this also its not work in opera 11

Hi, With Flash Player, there is an ActiveX Control in IE which is Shockwave Flash Object which if IE is working for you then you have it.
In all non-IE browsers there is a Shockwave Flash (SWF) and it is Installed as a plugin and must be Enabled.
You can check there for it.
    Hope that helps,

  • Is there any Security or Change Log for Shockwave Player 12.1.3.153 available?

I haven't seen so far any Security or Change Log for Shockwave Player 12.1.3.153. Given the Update ID SW12-13153 this seems to be an ordinary update (not a security hotfix with the prefix APSB...). Has anyone seen a change log?
    Thanks.

    Hey Kirby17,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
If you are not getting any sound from the speaker, follow this article.
iPhone: No sound or distorted sound from speaker
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts5180
Ensure that there is nothing plugged in to the headset jack or the dock connector.
If the iPhone is in a protective case, make sure that the speaker port isn't blocked by the case.
Make sure that the speaker and dock port aren't clogged with debris. If necessary, clean it with a clean, small, dry, soft-bristled brush. Carefully and gently brush away any debris.
If an audio issue occurs when using a specific application, try testing other applications to see if the issue persists.
If the iPhone is paired with a Bluetooth headset or car kit:
    Try turning off Bluetooth.
If you experience difficulties with the Bluetooth feature, follow these troubleshooting steps.
    Restart the iPhone.
If restarting doesn't fix the issue, ensure that your iPhone is updated to the latest version of iOS.
If the issue is not resolved, please contact Apple Support.
    Have a nice day,
    Mario

I've installed a button in my Firefox tool bar to toggle iFrames on and off through a Firefox add-on called "Toolbar Buttons".
The forum Reply Editor does not work when iFrames are blocked, so I need to toggle them back on when posting, then back off.  I imagine that's better than having them on all the time.

  • Flash Player 11.3.300.262 Not working with Firefox. I think I found the problem.

*Flash Player 11.3.300.262 is not working with Firefox. I think I found the problem.*
Millions of people got off work & turned on there computers recently to discover that Firefox is not playing any videos or flash content. Just like me, millions of people are randomly searching the internet in a futile & frustrating attempt at answers. Unfortunately, many of those people will simply stop using firefox & deem it a glitchy, unreliable browser.
This happened to me a couple days ago. I started up my computer & got a pop-up from Adobe saying that I need to update my flash player to 11.3.300.262. I've always thought of adobe as being a reliable software company, so I clicked on it with confidence that things will be working even smoother. To my horror, I relalized that right after the update, my main browser, firefox was destroyed. Then I went on the frustrating process of uninstalling, re-installing, running virus scan, researching the internet like a lost child. I said to myself, "that's why I hate updating stuff, because updates always seem to change stuff you don't want it to change & there always seems to be a problem with the updates." I usualy update software months after it releases, because microsoft & all the other software companies always seem not to test there stuff properly before releasing them. Then we have to look at a glitchy computer until the next update fixes it. Well, that is my rant. Now let me discuss the problem I found.
    Problem:
What I did was, go into my firefox extentions menu & I disabled the 11.3.300.262 & I re-enabled the previous flash player. After that, everything worked perfect again. Then a today (a week later), I turned on my computer & my firefox wasn't playing any videos or flash content again. I went into my firefox extenions menu again, & I discovered that my old flash player had been deleted, & this new glitchy 11.3.300.262 had been enabled. Why did adobe feel the need to into my computer & automaticly delete & update my flash player. Now it doesn't work. THIS IS REALY FRUSTRATING!
    The Issue I discovered:
"RealPlayer" is the most popular video program & it is installed on millions of computers. For some strange reason Firefox does not want its users to use Real Player. Specifically the RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin 15.0.2. I also discovered that my Browser Record Plugin 15.0.2 was automatically disabled when the Adobe 11.3.300.262 was automatically updated also.
    - Maybe this could be because of some copyright conspiracy to keep people from downloading videos from the web.
    - Maybe firefox wants people to use there download add-on instead of RealPlayers downloader.
I don't know what ther reason is. But what I do know is Nobody is going to delete there RealPlayer from there computer just to use FireFox. We can simply use Chrome or Internet explorer. I took the advise from Adobe & disabled the FireFox RealPlayer Extention. I also went into my RealPlayer preferences options, But there was no option to disable download recording from FireFox. BECAUSE I ALREADY DISABLED THE ADD-ON in FireFoxes menu.
    Solution:
Step 1: Adobe needs to update all the computers with the previous flash player. That way we can choose to enable the previous flash player in our FireFox. or wait until a new update fixes the problem with firefox.
Step 2: Adobe & FireFox need to get together & go back to the drawing board. They need to create a update that actually works on computers that have Real Player installed on them. I don't care which company does the update. All I care about is if it works. Thank You.
Oh yea, Im running FireFox 13.0.1, Windows 7, HP computer, Real Player is up to date.

    Hey Chris,
I was able to duplicate this issue on my Windows 7 laptop as follows:
         1)  Completely uninstall FlashPlayer (using your tool) as well as Mozilla Firefox and Mozilla Maintenance Service (used Windows 7 - uninstall from Control Panel).  Please note that I checked the box that said "Remove my Firefox personal data and customizations" to ensure that Firefox was completely gone from my laptop.
         2)  I then went out to the Firefox website and downloaded the "Firefox Setup 13.0.1.exe" app to my laptop.  I ran this app to install Firefox.
         3)  I then went to the following website http://www.ishmael.org.uk/karaoke02.php as I know that this URL uses Flash Player (obviously you can go to any URL that uses Flash Player - I'm just letting you know which one I used).  I then clicked on the icon on this page to install Flash Player.
Once the install was completed, the URL stops responding and appears to be locked up (although it will occassionally hiccup and display portions of the page and then lock up again).  You will eventually get a pop-up notice from Firefox that has the header "Warning:  Unresponsive script" and says the following:
A script on this page may be busy or it may have stopped responding.  You can stop the script now, or you can continue to to see of the script will complete.  Script:  chrome://browser/content/browser.js:6551
Selecting "Stop script" will get Firefox working until you hit another page that uses Flash Player.
To ensure that the above URL is not the culprit, I used one from your website http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/find-version-flash-player.html and had the same results.
    Hope this info helps!
    Jeff
NOTE:  As a reminder, I do not have RealPlayer installed on my laptop (and never have had it installed)

  • Flash Player 10.1 installed, but not working in any browser, or showing up on C:

I recently updated my flash player, however since then, websites requiring flash do not seem to fully load. However, it should also be noted that there is no notification indicating I need to install the software. Sites such as youtube will load, but fail to display the video I want to view, and showing only a black box. Also, sites I need for my HSC preparation are not working, such as the Board of Studies Online Multiple Choice, and Maths Online. The web page will load, indicating "done" in the bottom left corner of the screen, but the screen will be white.
    I have tried the following:
    un-installing, and re-installing (numerous times)
Restarting the system after both un-installing and re-installing
Checking all mentioned websites on three browsers --> Firefox 3.5.11, IE 8, Google Chrome. All presented the same outcome: blank pages etc.
Ensuring that flash was enabled in all above browsers
My operating system is 32 bit; Vista (Have checked this file--  C:/Windows/System32/Adobe -- and found that the flash player files are absent despite being 'told' it has successfully installed. After which the 'movie'/'f' symbol does not show up in the installation check online)
I assume all the above browsers are 32bit as well, however I'm not sure how to check this.
Please help... I have been searching forums for hours and trying various methods to attempt to fix the problem myself, but have been unsuccessful. It has become increasingly frustrating with the approaching HSC only a couple of weeks away !

There is no flashinstall.log file in that folder. There is a FlashInstall file that opens in Notepad when I click on it.  The contents of that file are below.  Does this give you any clue as to what is wrong?  It is WAY beyond my techincal competence.

  • Player Settings Menu Intermittently Does Not Work / Settings Manager Crashes - Firefox 6.0/Windows 7

    1)  I occasionally have a problematic issue with the Flash Player Settings menu, primarily with SocialVibe (media.socialvi.be) applications associated with FarmVille, activities such as video quizzes and interactive surveys.  Sometimes after loading these applications, the Player Settings menu opens requesting permission for local storage space changes, however I am unable to left-click on anything at all within the Player Settings menu: Allow/Deny the requested change, manual storage setting adjustment, switching tabs within the menu, or (particularly frustrating) to close the menu.  Usually if the Player Settings menu requests a local storage change, I can select my preference and it works properly.
When the Player Settings menu opens and is non-functional, the application will still run in the background, seemingly without issue, but is inaccessible because the Player Settings menu is active.  I have tried closing/refreshing the application, but the menu still remains unusable.  Many times there are several activities offered one right after another.  When one is completed, the link refreshes and a new application becomes available.  Each application is unique and only available for a very limited time.  The inability to make changes or close the Player Settings menu effectively blocks these activities from being completed.  Since I cannot complete the activity, the link for itwill not refresh, so I am stuck with an application where the Player Settings menu will not function properly and I have no opportunities for new activities.
Interestingly, when the Player Settings menu is oblivious to left-clicking with the mouse, I am able to select the options of Allow/Deny/Close by using the tab key on the keyboard to highlight the appropriate button, however pressing enter does nothing.  I can also right-click with the mouse and access the menu for Settings/Global Settings/About, which works properly.  In this menu, when I choose Settings, it takes me to the Local Storage tab of the Player Settings menu, however I am still unable to make any changes, switch tabs or close the menu.  When I choose About, it will load the Flash Player webpage and it does tell me that I have the most current version (10,3,183,5) successfully installed.  When I choose Global Settings, it will open the Flash Player Settings Manager, which I am able to navigate and modify (mostly, related issue below).
    2)  I also have an issue with the Flash Player Settings Manager.  When I try to open the Local Storage Settings by Site, the Settings Manager will usually crash.  It crashes whether I open the Settings Manager from the Player Settings right-click menu or through the Windows Control Panel.  I had originally assumed that there must be so many websites listed that want storage permissions that it takes a while to load, but until this evening it had never loaded successfully and would go unresponsive almost immediately.  This evening I attempted to access the Local Storage Settings by Site many times, crashing and restarting the Settings Manager, until it finally loaded.
In the Local Storage Settings by Site, media.socialvi.be (SocialVibe) is shown as having 0kb Storage Used and Ask Me under Storage Settings.  Because every application from SocialVibe is different, I want Flash to ask me each time it wants to change the storage settings, so I do not want to set its permission to Allow.  From reading through the Flash troubleshooting webpages, I understand that choosing Block may cause the applications to not run correctly, and I do want them to run properly.  The local storage request from media.socialvi.be was 5kb as shown in the Player Settings menu (that wasn't working), so if the Player Settings menu is not functioning and I must allow some level of storage, is there a way that I can specify how much to allow using the Settings Manager without setting the permission to Allow?  I do not feel that websites should be able to store as much information as they see fit on my machine, and as I want to keep as much advertisement information, tracking, cookies, etc. off my computer as possible, setting the permission to Allow seems to be a risky permission.

  • Adobe Flash Player 10.3.181.34 - Not Working?

    Hey,
So I have windows 7, 64-bit operating system and I use Mozilla Firefox (32-bit) as my browser. I have yet to try other browsers and I have downloaded the 32-bit version for the use of the flash player. But almost any website that requires flash, doesn't work (which is a large portion of the internet). I'm at a loss, I've reinstalled it, re-started my computer, re-installed firefox,
    Any ideas?
    Thanks

What Firefox version do you use?
FP 10.3.181.34 works fine for me on Firfox 3.6.18 and 5.0
Can you see the Flash animation at http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ ?
Regarding your problem, can you be more specific what you mean by "not working" - what are the exact symptoms?
Finally, what files do you have in C:\Windows\syswow64\Macromed\Flash?

  • Flash Player  10.1.53.64 not working on all PC

    Hi
First sorry for my bad English
We are a company with 150 PC's. The 10.0 Version from Flash was running without any Problem. Now we make a Rollout with Windows 7 Enterprise and the new 10.1.
We install den MSI Active X Package. In the Program List and in the Event log all is fine. Without any error. Last few days i tried to install many different things. Now i have only installed Windows 7 without any Patch. Without any Virus scanner, when i install one time the newest Flash player over the Internet. It works. After manual Installation I can remove and reinstall back! It works! I tried to change the Registry Permission with your script but nothing change. I tried to install the exe File. I can always install successful but the Flash Test site will not running!
Please help. As last chance i tried to install an older Version. But the setup stay with notification to the newer version. I take your older Version that's you say it will not check the Version. By me the setup checks and stay with the notification!
    Kind regards
    René

    Hi
Thanks for your assistance. The newest Flash Version not running on all older Vista and the new Windows 7 Clients. With the 10.0 Version from FP all works fine.
And we have the newest Version installed. When i install the FP 10.1.53.64 manual over the Website from Adobe, after this manual installation i can remove and reinstall the newest Version without any Problem and it works. So i can't believe, that's it a Display Driver Problem, but of course the newest Display Driver is installed.
Do you have any odder idea?

  • Flash Player 10.0.22.87 Not working in IE8

    Good Morning
           Here is my problem.
I had a working version of Flash Player on my laptop. Adobe Pops up with an Update for it so i clicked install and allowed it to update my Flash Player to the latest version.  Now here's the kicker. The file installs just fine. If i go to Add/Remove Programs it's there. If I go to the Adobe Flash Download page there's a box in the corner that states that Adobe Flash Player 10......w/e has Completed Installation. BUT that Flash picture you should see does not ever appear and it does not work on any other website either.  I still get the message that I need to download Adobe Flash Player.  I am at my wits end.  I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it several times. I have checked for malware, spyware, viruses, registry problems, I've uninstalled ALL the adobe programs, uninstalled the google toolbar, and nothing made even a LITTLE bit of a difference.
So i'm wondering if there is a problem with this version of Adobe Flash Player? Same thing happened when we did the update for my sisters computer.  And we both had perfectly working versions of Flash Player before the update.
If someone could please tell us what we could possibly do or what's going on with that update I would very much appreciate it. Someone else decided to download Chrome and flash player worked for them.  I have no problem downloading another browser but i'd like to try to get this working first.
Thanks so much for your support,
            Phoenix
