Shockwave Player Distribution Download is out of date

Following the the security update yesterday:

the distribution update for Shockwave player has not been updated to v11.5.9.626 and is still at v11.5.9.620
When will this be updated, as it is usually up to date within 24 hours.

I've just tried again and it has downloaded the correct one. I guess it was either a caching issue, or that it was updated between my original message and your download ;-)

But it will take time. Sometimes when a company is acquired some
things don't quite make the transition. We realize that, and we
apologize.
The issue with the Shockwave MSI is that that the setPROFILE
is saved in the Applications Data directory here:
[%APPDATA]\Macromedia\Shockwave Player\
In the transform that you can download from the link below,
the setPROFILE has been updated to be saved in the following
directory.
[%TEMP]\Macromedia\Shockwave Player\
This should resolve the issue that you are experiencing.

My plugin for Adobe flash player on Fox states out of date -but Ive just installed latest 1 on my IE browser. Why doesnt Fox accept this & not keep asking me to update it?

Firefox can't accept that my laptop has now installed the latest version of Adobe Flash Player - the plug-in states it is out-of-date & numbers the old one. Ive tried all ways to rectify this but nothing works... Fox still states that I have to update it...

Thank you for your interest. I'd been into the getadobe.com address & downloaded it successfully on IE. The problem had been that it hadnt altered the update on Firefox plug-in. I typed-in your link from Firefox, then it came-up on IE. So I went through the motions to download again & the tab stated it was going to be to IE. So I came out - opened-up Firefox again & got onto getadobe.com again, but on Firefox - downloaded it & it worked.... The plug-in check confirmed it'd updated to latest version.
So thank you, TonyE, if you hadnt responded, I wouldnt have realised that I'd to download whilst on the Firefox browser.

Flash Player 11 Download Time Out???

Mein System ist Windows XP 32-bit. Von gestern auf heute konnte ich weder online Filme ansehen noch Facebookspiele spielen. Ich habe herausgefunden das es daran liegt, dass meine Flash Player Version zu alt war. Also habe ich die alte deinstalliert und mir die 11er runtergeladen. Allein die Rar Datei runter zu laden hat mich schon 1 Std gekostet. Das entpacken plus starten der Installation dann nurnoch ein paar Sekunden. Der Download hat wunderbar geklappt, bis er 12% erreicht hat. Dann passierte eine Weile nichts mehr und dann wurde angezeigt "Download Timeout" Als einzige möglichkeit wurde mir angeboten die Installation abzubrechen. Was ich auch gemacht habe. Die Rar Datei war gelöscht. Seit dem habe ich es ettliche male versucht, auch von anderen Seiten als der Adobe Seite aber bis jetzt nur mit dem Erfolg das es varriert ob bei 12, 14 oder 15% diese Meldung erscheint. Mein PC ist seit dem auch extrem langsam geworden. Kann mir jemand helfen? P.S. Komme aus Deutschland falls das von nöten sein sollte LOL

I uninstalled yet again and tried reinstalling using the link you provided .
The installer downloaded successfully. It then retrieved succussfully. then the installer tried installing and stopped at 12%.
Then it gave me the time out error....
And finally the unsuccessful installation message.
I have made sure Active X is not checked in tools, I have made sure all settings in Internet Option are set as Adobe said (in regards to scripting, etc both in Trusted Zones and Internet Options), and Windows Firewalls, etc were all turned off.
I have tried this about 30 times now over the ast 4 nights and would appreciate anybody letting me know if they have a solution.

Firefox still tells me my Adobe Flas Player Plug in is out of date

Despite updating last week to Adobe Flash player 16.0.0.305 when I check if my plug ins are up to date I still get the following message:
Adobe Flash PlayerRealNetworks(tm) RealDownloader PepperFlashVideoShim Plug-In vulnerable 1.3.3.66
I again pressed Update Now but I still keep getting the same message.

Out of date Flash, how do I update ?

I'm using 10.5.8 in a MacBook 3,1 and having trouble updating Flash Player, keep getting Flash out of date message, what am I doing wrong?
I've tried un install and downloaded what I think is correct Flash Player, but no change. I restarted computer after installation, then opened Chrome, was this wrong? Should I just open Chrome?

Alan,
Your profile is not up to date. You will have to go through the Snow Leopard upgrade to go any further. One thing I think you should do is to get rid of Chrome, at least until your machine has been upgraded. Chrome carries a complex web of mini apps, add ons or whatever else you can call them.
Get back to basics; upgrade your machine, then look deeper at the new potential you have.

Alerts for out-of-date content

I maintain dozens of web page for a large state
transportation agency. Is there a way in Dreamweaver to create web
pages so that if a particular piece of content (whether it is text
or a download) is out-of-date, an alert is sent to me by email to
update the page. The alternative is to go through every web page
regularly which will be very time consuming. Any suggestions would
be appreciated.

Best bet is if you have time-limited material, put the
information in a
database and drive the pages off the database. Next best bet
is to
surround the material with conditional statements
(pseudocode):

Shockwave Player malfunction

Shockwave Player is installed and up to date, in fact, I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times to try and resolve the issue. I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium, Firefox and/or IE I've tried both and it works with neither one. I cannot open any game, including the solitaire games that came loaded in 'Windows. To read Google news is a challenge, each time I try to open an article, hence page, I get the error message: "Shockwave player may be busy or may have stopped working", when I click 'stop' I can then for a few seconds scroll to read the article then the error message returns so I have to continually repeat the procedure. How do I fix this problem to alleviate frustration levels?

Are you CERTAIN the error message says
"Shockwave player may be busy or may have stopped working"
and not "Shockwave Flash may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the plug now, or you can continue to see if the plugin will complete." If the latter then you should search before asking your question on a forum for the Flash Player

Shockwave player says out of date mac firefox.

In the plug-in checker, for Firefox, it shows my Shockwave as out of date, is this because there was a Windows update for Shockwave that has not been updated for the Mac version yet?

What is the version it shows to be out of date?

I am not very computer savvy so bare with me, but if anyone can help me I would be very grateful.
I am using Google Chrome web browser (I have IE and FF but for some reason they are sooo slow). Everytime I visit a page that uses Flash (every page in the world almost) I get this ERROR message...
(jigsaw puzzle logo) Adobe Flash Player was blocked because it is out of date. Two boxes... 'Run this time' + Update plug-in
I clicked update and it took me to the Adobe Flash page. It says it requires a MAC OS 10.6 or higher
My MAC is an OS 10.5.8
SO... I found the version for this OS and downloaded/installed.
Restarted my computer, launched Chrome and what d'ya know, I got the same message!!!
I don't know what I need to do now. I tried lower versions, still not working and I can't upgrade to Lion as this is a 10.5 (great!)
My processor is a 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Mem 2GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
Just incase that helps.
If anyone knows how to fix this or what I need to buy to make it work I would very much appreciate the advice!

OH I also just found on the Chrome:Plugins page that beside the FLASH note it says:
Flash - Version: 10.3.183.29 Download Critical Security Update
Shockwave Flash 10.3 r183
When I click on download critical... it downloads and still doesn't work.

Flash Player is out of date in Google Chrome

I have a Macbook with Mac OS X 10.5.8 version (Intel Core 2 Duo).
I run the internet on Google Chrome, but some time ago it started showing this message on every window.
"Adobe Flash Player was blocked because it is out of date."
It shows grey windows with no flash content. And when I hit the button "Run this time", it starts playing the flash content. But it is an annoyance when I have to hit this button on every new window.
I wonder how to solve this problem. Google advises me to solve this problem by displaying this message>
Note: Although not recommended, if you don't want Google Chrome to notify you when a plug-in is out of date, use the command line flag --allow-outdated-plugins. Instructions on how to add a command line flag can be found on our Chromium site .
But I tried to follow the command and it was too difficult for me to understand.
I updated the Flash Player many times and I am sure it is up to date, but somehow this message still shows up. I also tried to uninstall my Google Chrome but don't know how.
I like Google Chrome better than Safari because it responds faster than Safari and has less freezing problems.

I downloaded the Google Chrome from the link that you provided.But somehow it doesn't work on my Mac. According to my computer specifications it is supposed to be compatible. It installs with the strange icon in front. And when I try to open the application it displays a message "You cannot use this Google Chrome on this Version of Mac OS". Please see the images that were displayed on my computer. I am confused.
