Shockwave player is either busy or has stop working...this happens all the time. How can I correct this problem?

Every five minutes or so I keep getting warning signs that Shockwave player is either busy or has stopped working do I want to continue or stop plugin.  How can I fix this problem?  I have refreshed firefox. I have uninstalled and re-installed and still this problem persists.

    How about a hard reset.  Hold the top button down along with the home button until the phone turns off.

    a further message  box states that Data Execution Prevention has closed the program.
    Try updating your QuickTime to the most recent version. Does that clear up the DEP errors in iTunes?

    Did you already try to reset the sync history? copied from Troubleshooting iPhone and iPod touch contact and calendar syncing via USB on Windows
    If you find that some of your data syncs to your device but you see an unexpected number of changes or modifications, you may need to reset your sync history. This causes iTunes to prompt to Merge or Replace information on the device when you next attempt to sync your information. To reset your Sync History:
    Open iTunes.
    From the Edit menu, choose Preferences.

  • Shockwave Flash may be busy... BLAH BLAH BLAH... HOW can I fix this?

    I am SOOOOOO sick of this issue.  I have posted asking for help,  advice and etc... in many different sites including THIS ONE, and no one  seems to know how to fix this. For about the last month or so, I have  had a problem with my adobe flash, or shockwave flash or what ever the  hell you want to call it. I say this last part because I have been told  they are the same, and I have been told they are different. Here is a  screen shot of the damn pop up box I keep getting, it also shows how I  am also often told that I need to install adobe flash to view something  even though I DO have it installed already.
    The  issue: It seems like every couple of mins at times, my browser will  freeze, then after a few seconds to mins, I get the above shown pop up  box about my unresponsive plugin. Usually when I click the continue  button, after a few mins the page continues to work. This usually only  lasts a few mins before it freezes again and I get the pop up box AGAIN.  Sometimes it stays unfrozen for a while, and I have no issues but this  is very rare.  Now if I click the stop plugin option, this usually makes  adobe flash crash altogether, and I have to refresh everything.  Sometimes my page does not unfreeze at all, even after clicking the  continue button, my browser does not unfreeze, and I have to open my  task manager, and shut it all down manually. As for the other issue,  where I am told I have to download adobe flash to view something, this  does not happen EVERY time I try viewing something, but it does happen, I  would say maybe 2-8 times out of 10 it happens. It has happened while  trying to view videos, commercials I get while playing games sometimes,  or many other things, I am saying this because I want to make sure you  understand it is NOT just when I am on facebook or something, I just  happened to take the screenshot above while on FB when it happened this  most recent time to make this post here with.
    Ok  so I have tried a LOT of things to fix this. I more then once tried  uninstalling and then reinstalling adobe flash, I did so following the  instructions for a CLEAN INSTALL as I was directed by someone else to  try. In case the issue was something to do with my anti virus, or fire  wall or etc... I have also tried uninstalling, then reinstalling while  my windows firewall was turned OFF, as well as my anti virus turned off.  I have tried uninstalling my browsers as well, then reinstalling them  AFTER reinstalling adobe.
    According  to the flash checker thing on the adobe site itself, I DO have the most  current version installed, I also checked the page to see if it was  supposed to be working properly, and according to your site it said my  adobe flash WAS working fine, the images and etc... displayed fine. All  of my browsers and etc... are also ALL up to date. I have made sure that  ALL of my adobe products are up to date, the reader, active x,  shockwave, etc...
    I  have tried everything and yet I still keep getting this message box,  and often enough I get the message saying adobe needs to be installed to  view something. I had not installed anything, nor had I made any  changes to my comp or system prior to this problem starting, though if I  am not mistaken, I think I HAD just upgraded to the newest version OF  adobe at the time, this was over a month ago now...
    I  also want to add, so that I don't start getting suggestions to do so...  I do not have a virus on my comp. I have checked and rechecked my  system using a few different programs like windows defender,  malwarebytes, my anti virus Avast!, Spybot Search & Destroy,  Microsoft Safety Scanner and possibly other ones as well, and none of  them have ever found any malware, adware, or viruses.
    As  for my system and info: I mostly use firefox (yes most recent version),  however recently I did download and try using Google Chrome in order to  find out if this was a firefox issue or something, as someone suggested  once. I encountered the SAME pop up box, and message while using Google  Chrome, as well as while using IE, which tells me even more this is not  a "browser" problem, but more an adobe/shockwave/flash or whatever  problem. I have windows 7 home premium on my comp, it is the 64-bit  operating system.

    The  site will NOT let me post in the  "flash player" forum. When I open the  list of forums to post in, I see  flash player listed, but it is grey  in color and you can not click on  it. Under the scroll box that gives  you the choices of forums to post  your question in you see this:
    "Why are some locations grayed out?                                                This means that you can view content in these locations, but may not   have access to post to them. Or, the content type you've chosen is not   available there (i.e. trying to put a blog post in a project where  blogs  are turned off). Also to move content to "Your documents",  "Private  discussions" or "Your Videos" you have to be the author."
    So   tell me HOW the hell am I supposed to post in that forum, when it is   not letting me?  I have had   this problem since back in April, I have tried posting to get help and   all I get is complaints I posted in the wrong place, and it is the SITE   that is not letting me post in the right place.

  • Thunderbird 24.6 just stops working . . . all the time.

    I've hinted at some of this before, and I've searched the forums for help . . . alas!
    We have an iMac running 10.8.5 and Thunderbird 24.6. We've been running Thunderbird since it was Netscape and before . . . it's our primary email program and we have TONS of accounts all filtering through. In this incarnation, I see emails from 2006 so it's been actively working, pretty much non-stop, for at least 8 years. Now it doesn't!
    It launches fine, retrieves what it's supposed to retrieve . . . all POP and imap accounts work . . .everything's fine. And then, it stops. The first sign will be something like it not deleting a message when you highlight it and hit delete. (Doesn't make a difference if it's the keyboard delete or the button in TB.) Next, and more annoying, is it'll get stuck on the "saving email to sent" function which means I have no way of knowing if the email's actually gone out.
    This happens regardless of whether I start in Safe Mode, modes with everything turned off, reset everything . . . whatever. It all launches and starts fine and then just stops.
    I've gone through and emptied all the trash/junk folders; I've compacted everything I could, everything's disabled . . . nothing seems to help. I hate to abandon TB after all these years . . it's got ALL of our various email accounts (75 of 'em) in there, all the subfolders we've set up over the years, the various filters -- time consuming/convoluted ones set to manual so it won't slow down things too much -- and it's been great. But, obviously, I can't keep restarting every 15-20 minutes and, at the minimum, need to know that my "sending" email works when I need it to work.
    The only thing thats show up in the Error Console are:
    Could not read chrome manifest 'file:///Aplications/Thunderbird.app/Contents/MacOs/chrome.manifest
    -and-
    While creating services from category 'profile-after-change', could not create service for entry 'Disk Space Watcher Service', contract ID '@mozilla.org/toolkit/disk-space-watcher;1'
    Any advice at this point would be greatly appreciated.

    Well, even though it appears I'm just talking to myself here, I thought I'd keep the update going. That way, anyone else going through these issues, might see they're not alone . . alone . . alone…one…one…ne…e
    Thunderbird v31 was worse for us here. In addition to the problems listed in the original post, some of the functions weren't working correctly and, after some discussion, we decided the best thing to do was go back.
    We completely uninstalled Thunderbird, reinstalled v24.6 from scratch, copied over the old profiles/folders, reimported the various mailboxes, and that seemed to fix things. We run NO extensions or plugins and have a few little quirks . . . things like having to approve graphics in emails even though we've marked them "always load," addresses in our address books not autofilling, various mail filters not running automatically . . .stuff like that.
    Obviously, something got installed along the way and messed up a few things but, at least, TB 24.6 stays on now and basically works.

    I normaly use the zoom feature with Facebook in order to more easily be able to read and see. I like how the entire page zooms in. Recently, however, the zoom started reseting every time i click myself from any page on Facebook to any other. The zoom simply won't save at all, it just resets to the default value.

    yes it was solved some time ago. i cant remember exactly but i think i disconnected from the internet and tried accessing the audio apps (or maybe i had accessed the apps first then only turned off internet i cant remember) thereafter the files were in my local apps and then I turned off use icloud. i suggest you backup your ipad on itunes before trying anything.     We have installed the BO XI 3.1 SP3 client components in Windows Vista Machine. When I was working with Desktop Intelligence, the program keep terminates irregularly. A pop-up window would appear saying "Business Objects has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program." It asks me to close the program. The window always pops up even when I just terminate the BOE normally. It sometimes pops up when I was just trying to refresh the data or in the middle of working with the application.

    Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
    Remove all of these items in the following order:
    iTunes
    Apple Software Update
    Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
    Bonjour
    Apple Application Support
    Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
    The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
    Please note:
    Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.
