    Hi experts,
After I put some products into shopping basket in Webshop(E-commerce B2C) in Japanese Version, when I want to do the checkout for those products, I found the text of the button 'go to checkout' was not correct in japanese language, so I want to change it into correct japanese language, Could you please give me some advices where I can find it's configuration location?
    Thank you very much.
    Quanyin

    Hi,
Start your application with appending ?translate.show.key.only=99 at the end of the url.
This will give you the key corresponding to "Go to checkout" text. These keys are maintained in langauage
properties files which you can find under this path /web-inf/classes.You can easily change the key/text value pair here.

  • BOM Explosion in Shopping Basket for CRM B2C 6.0

    Hi Gurus,
Can we have a BOM explosion in shopping basket . As per few links I explored BOM Concept is possible only in ECC and we can implement it is CRM based by some additional configurations .  (BOM in CRM) .
We have configured component for products and XCM setting for BOM is also in place . But BOM explosion is happening only at Order confirmation level .
Can anybody give some insights to get BOM explosion in Shopping Basket of CRM B2C 6.0 .
    Thanks and Regards,
    Tony Isaac

    Hi Rahul,
    Thanks for the reply.
I could find the UI component setting : ui.fields.order.bomExplosion = Visible and I have already done this . Due to this I am able to see BOM explosion on Checkout Page / Order Confirmation Page .
But  still I am not able to find ui.fields.order.subitemDetailview = Visible.
Is that available only in R/3 version ?
My problem is BOM explosion is not visible in Shopping basket .

  • Website shopping basket cookies Problem With Safari only

My website shopping basket uses cookies and works find in all browsers except Safari, I have traced the problem to the £ sign, if the £ is present in the items description with I can't add the product, if I leave the £ out or use $ it all works fine, has anyone seen this problem before

Consider TenFourFox. It is a port of a later version of FireFox that was never coded for PowerPC Macs. Sites see it as a fairly recent version of FireFox. What TFF does not fix is web video content that was never optimized for PowerPC, and the current version of TFF does not suport plug-ins so Flash video is out.
    http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox/
I'm using it on a G4 MDD 1.25Ghz minitower with architecture similar later PowerBooks and it keeps that computer on the web for many tasks. It has become the "go to" browser for most people here who still like to use their pre-Intel Macs.

  • WCEM30 Basket checkout error

    Hi Experts,
I'm working on a new WCEM 3.0 implementation and get a strange error.  The installation is using SAP ECC as a backend, and we are using SAP ECC 5.0 SP9. WCEM is installed on a NW 7.3 SP8.
Products can be added to the shopping basket, but if we have more than one itemline, the application fails with the below exception. If we only have one itemline, it works fine.
We get the error on a clean installation, so no extra development has been done.

  • ME21N shopping basket

    Hi Experts
I have a requirement where i need to populate the me21n shopping basket with a Purchase requisition, since i have to create a PO with reference to the PR.
The me21n transaction is invoked using call transaction from a workflow method.
I want to populate the me21n screen with the PR items from the shopping basket - the user needs to see the screen with the PR items populated.
Normally we select the document overview on, then select the purchase requisition option on the left side, give the PR and then drop the PR into the shopping basket. But i want this to happen via code and then to start the me21n transaction.
Please guide me as i am unable to code the drop_action for the shopping basket using bdc.
Is there any other way i can achieve this ?

    Hi Lukas,
In order to solve the problem more efficiently, I need to clarify some information.
Are you use the same query as the dataset query?
Could you mind click Query Designer to run the query? Can you get the same results as SQL Server Management Studio?
Please make sure you are only insert =Fields!Expression.Value as the cell value.
Could you please post the screen shot about your report design and your dataset with sample data?
It is benefit for us to do further analysis. Thank you for your understanding.

  • How to save a e-selling shopping basket

    Hi all,
is it possible to save the shopping basket for a later order in the e-selling B2C and B2B scenario?
B2C uses a cookie for saving temporary shopping basket data. If we delete the cookie, all shopping data will be deleted.
In B2B it is possible to create order templates to repeat an order.
But is this also possible in SAP Standard: Log on -> putting some products into the shopping basket -> save the basket -> log off -> log on again -> place the order with the saved basket data ?
    Cheers,
    André

In a situation like this I would export a PDF as single pages -- DON'T make a booklet, you aren't printing and it will just confuse readers to see things imposed -- and set the initial view in Acrobat Pro to display two-up with coverpage. Your readers can then decid if they want to see the spreads, or change the view for themselves.

  • Invalid session error when trying to transfer line items to shopping basket

    Hi All,
    I have a requirement in E-Commerce application.
when a user searches for a product in B2B webshop in 'products' tab in left frame, search results table get displayed which will have a shopping basket icon for each line item.
There we can transfer only a single item to shopping basket.
if we want to transfer more than one item, again shopping basket icon has to be clicked..
Now my requirement is that I have to add check boxes before each line item and a button below the results table ,so that when it is cliked, all the checked items should move to shopping basket in a shot.
I added a button and called '/catalog/updateitems.do' (onclick of buttton) which is the action called when  'transferselection' button in 'productISA.jsp' is clicked.
Now I am getting  an error saying 'Invalid session' when that button is clicked. I am not able to guess the reason.
And also I want to ask experts, is this the correct way of proceeding for the requirement ?
I am new to E-Commerce and any pointers in this regard will be of great help.
    Thanks,
    Anasuya.

    Hello Anasuya,
Any reason why Catalog is not used but "Product" search list is used in the process? Catalog gives a more organized way of displaying and searching capabilities and makes the buying experience simple. Product search is a convenience tool for power users when you know the product.
Without major UI changes - like de-framing, the use of Product search for "Add to Cart" of all "selected" products from search list will not excite the end users. Catalog is a powerful tool that is available to you. Unless you have a strong business reason, it is better to use the features the way they are intended. You need to go back to the drawing board with your customer.
Anyway, I am assuming that you are doing a POC. I will give the same help I provided for your previous message on a similar topic. Re: Null poiner exception when trying to store extension data in existing BO.  We need to understand the basics of Servlet / JSP. Just adding any action (calling servlet) from any page (JSP) may not help. We must understand that the action (servlet) may be expecting many values in the request context which is available in the page (JSP) it was placed in. If that action is blindly placed in another page, it is highly unlikely that it will work, unless, you also took the pain to provide the servlet behind that action with the data it is expecting. So, adding the action from _'productsISA.jsp' _ in organizer-content-product-search1.jsp will have bad results. If you have done the required changes to the JSP, then let us know the changes you have done to really understand the issue.
If you have not done so, here is what you can do for the POC. If you look at the JSP organizer-content-product-search1.jsp, it doesn't have any useful <INPUT tags that would pass on the Product data to the servlet. So
Surround the product (tech key) with <Input tag. (Hint: see productISA.jsp)
I am sure you already have this for the quantity1 and the new checkbox.
Add a button to a custom action.
inside the custom action read all the items and create a simple Java List of  BasketTransferItem. Use BasketTransferItemImpl to actually use the instance.
Use methods setProductKey(String techKey), setQuantity(String quantity) and if you know the UoM use setUnit(String unit) to set the BasketTransferItemImpl object.
Add each instance of BasketTransferItem to the java List.
Now, place this list object in the request context under the attribute name baskettransferitemlist.
    On success forward to "addtodocument"
    Make proper changes to config.xml
I hope this will work without much changes.
(Note: This is not a cake served in a plate, but just a tested recipe for the cake. Please cook it nicely. If you need the cake immediately, then hire a Chef! - )

  • Online catalogue with shopping basket functionality

We have an online shop in our company with shopping basket functionality that's running on a burning platform. They're asking if we can build a similar catalogue in newScale.
The way the online shop works right now is similar to many online shops: The customer searches for the good(s) -> selects the good(s) -> indicates quantity -> adds to 'shopping basket' -> submits order. The order is then sent to the backend system, which in this case is SAP.
Is newScale capable of this kind of catalogue? If yes, how and what's needed.
    Thanks.

    Hi Christine,
The short answer to your question is "yes".
If you are asking whether there is an ability to have RequestCenter function as the front-end for other systems, such as SAP, the anwser to this is "yes". This is typically done via task-level integration using ServiceLink. Depending upon your version of SAP, you might also be able to do this using a Web Services integration.
If you are asking whether there is an ability to have RequestCenter users of RequestCenter add more than one item to a Requisition, the anwser to this is also "yes".
If you can give us a bit more information about what you want to do, we can steer you in the best direction.

  • SRM - Offline approval of shopping baskets (avoid automatic email)

    Dear colleagues,
We are implementing SRM 5.0 and one of the key functionalities is the so-called "offline approval": the authorizer receives an email with the information of the basket he/she has to approve or reject. This email actually contains 3 links: one for approval, one for rejection, and another one to access the system (SRM).
When accepting or rejecting the shopping basket (that is, when clicking on any of the links for approval or rejection) the system automatically generates an email with a default text in the Subject and in the Body of the email. The user can INSERT some comments in the middle of the proposed character chain. Example of email generated:
    Send to: [email protected]
Subject: #EBP_GEN_REPLY#Reject of a work item
    Body:
    #WFTECHINFOS#444244093D34D87D43D6572D4#WFTECHINFOE#You can write a note#NOTM#Regards.
That is, the user can write a text replacing the "You can write a note". If, for whatever reason, the user deletes any of the other characters, or any character in the Subject, or writes the comments in the wrong position, deleting a "#", etc, the process will not work.
On the other hand, it is quite unlikely that the user needs to write a comment. Normally, he/she just approves or rejects, without comments.
Therefore, this email is unnecessary and dangerous indeed, as it is quite likely that the proposed characters will be deleted or overwritten by mistake, and the process (either approval or rejection) will not work.
We want to avoid this email, ideally making it work in the background, so that the user does not even see it, and does not even have the possibility to modify those characters or overwrite them. This is absolutely business-critical.
This is of course a modification to standard SAP. Do you have any idea what we have to do to avoid the email?
    THANKS in advance.
    Ray

    Hi Rick,
Thanks for your message, but this is not really what I meant.
We need the authorizer to receive an email with the message: "You have a shopping cart pending for approval, with these items ...item 1, item 2, etc... Do you want to approve? Yes / No".
We have managed to turn on this message, which is fine. The problem, however, comes when pressing Yes or No (which can be either a link or a button, depending on your email service, e.g. in Lotus Notes we get links, but I know that in Outlook you would get buttons). When you press 'yes' or 'no' we would expect that the system automatically approves or rejects the basket in SRM with no intermediate email which may be manipulated by the user. That is: you press 'yes' and the system approves the basket in SRM, no matter if the communication is via email behind, but the goal is to avoid that the user may see or manipulate the email.
The same with the rejection: the user should press 'No' and no intermediate email should be visible to the user.
I know for certain that this requires a modification to the standard, but the question is where and how.
    Thanks again!
    Ray

  • ITunes 9: a lament for the shopping basket

Much as I love the concept of a wish list, my shopping basket WAS my wish list before.
I don't like one-click buying, so I turned that off and added stuff to my shopping basket as I went. Now the option to use a basket has been removed from iTunes.
So what's the problem? Very simple: the shopping basket was available from any window within iTunes regardless of what I was doing at the time.
And now it's not. It's only available from the iTunes home page.
User Centric Design department mush have been on holiday when they finalised iTunes 9.
Edit: Just seen the drop-down next to my account link. Sorry, but that's just nasty and nothing compared to having an actual shopping basket.
Message was edited by: Grahame Fendle

Just to follow up on this, it's my belief that this change fundamentally breaks iTunes and makes the concept of a store analogy no longer valid.
Imagine going into your local shop, picking something up and being charged for it right there and then. Of course I will be writing to Apple using the links provided.
I'm not going to test it, but for all I know when you click on 'buy' the selected item may well end up in a shopping cart where I can confirm my purchase, but if it's an instant transaction then I'd be very upset. I wonder what the OFT might have to say about such behaviour in an online store likely to be used by millions who are not as computer literate as myself and many others here.
The whole idea of a shopping basket is that you can change your mind. There should, and must be, a shopping basket in addition to, not instead of, a wish list.
One friend of mine who spends a great deal of money on iTunes won't be buying anything else until such time as the old functionality - turn off one-click, use a shopping basket - is returned. I don't consider myself to be a heavy purchaser of music, but I've got 1200 items in my purchased list since I converted to Mac last December. There are seven items in my wish list, and they'll be staying there until such time as this is repaired. The only purchases I'll make are those that I've pre-ordered.
What with clear reported issues with Genius, Sharing and other matters, I would expect a fix for this in very short order from Apple, but what with the problems with Snow Leopard, and fixes required in just a few days, I'd have to say it's a little disappointing.
This really is a classic case of breaking something that didn't need fixing in the first place.
There's also a length discussion about the same matter over here:

I can run the DMX in Mgmt Studio and get the followin Result
also I am able to use the created dataset and add the Field to a table.
When I preview the Report though it just returns #Error in the field, with no additional ErrorMessage
