Shopping Cart in App store.
Since the App store was released I accidentally bought 2 apps I didn't want thinking there was a shopping cart. Im pretty mad now. and unfortunately I don't think there's a way for a refund but please get the shopping cart like ASAP.
Suggestions to Apple will be best submitted through the iTunes feedback page. Your comments will be most likely to get to the proper people within Apple that way.

Cannot access shopping cart in iTunes store.
I can access the iTunes store just fine; however, I can't get to my shopping cart.
I can no longer access my shopping cart. I clicked on it today and was prompted to agree to new terms and conditions; I did so. I was then forwarded to another screen which indicated my purchase could not be completed at this time, and my selection in the left-hand column was automatically changed from 'Shopping Cart' to 'iTunes Store.' From this point, whenever I've selected 'Shopping Cart' I've received an error prompt (Unknown error 5002).
I decided to update my iTunes version, but that has not helped at all.Spent a while in the "loop" myself (agreeing to new terms for iTunes 7.6 (29), then reviewing my account info.) - now I'm out of the loop but still getting the 5002 error. I tried signing out & signing back in, quitting, restarting, fiddling with one-click, and everything else I've seen in various discussion boards. Still no luck.
Anybody have any definitive answer??? -
Problème de carte cadeau App Store

I shopped in the Apps store and selected Kindle. It responded with a Kindle pop-up but the screen is now frozen. Cannot select anything in the Apps store. How do I un-freeze?
Try a reset. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the red slider.

How do i switch to shopping cart
How do I switch to shopping cart in itunes store?
There isn't a shopping cart in the iTunes store, you can only buy items one-at-a-time. You can add items to your wish list, but again you can only buy items from that one-at-a-time.

HT4623 Where is the App store badge?
I just switched from the iPhone 4 to the iPhone 5. When I plugged in to iTunes I lost my App Store Icon. Why and how do I shop at the App store besides using iTunes?
I followed your instructions and still no "App Store" ... This is the second phone, I took the 1st one back for the same reason. They couldn't find it so they exchanged it for this one. Yet once I plugged it in to iTunes to restore my contacts it was gone....
It's a factory setting, it has to be there doesn't it? -

Help with a shopping cart idea
Hi All,
I have been asked if I can do a shoppinng cart for a friend
and initially I said yea Iknow of some ready made carts out there
in ASP ..
But I wondered if we could do our own in DW with some
extensions?
Is this hard or very complex?
Id say I was an intermetiate coder in VB and VBs and can
follow most instructions or manuals and would like to do our own if
it wasnt such a mammoth task..
Any thoughts or suggestions would be welcome.

The customer needs an Internet Merchant Account. This is
different from the
Merchant Account he will have for the POS terminal, and if
the bank notice
that a POS terminal is used for internet purchases, he will
probably be in
breach of his contract with the bank - they may take away his
Merchant
Account altogether. The bank *will* notice, because of the
large number of
CNP (customer not present) entries he will be making - even
if there are no
chargebacks (which is the big risk of all internet shopping
carts).
The fact that he already has a merchant account will help
when he applies
for an IMA. He *will* be paying higher fees for an IMA.
When writing the shopping cart, you NEVER store card holders
details on your
site. If you do, and your site is ever compromised, *you* may
be held liable
for any fraudulent transactions made on any card details
stolen from you.
Obivously if you are a massive company, there are business
reasons why you'd
want you own control of all data. But if that was the case,
you wouldn't
have to ask! <g>
For most small shopping carts (i.e, bigger than paypal), I
take the
following approach. I won't claim that it's perfect, or the
cheapest, but it
works (and I'm open to suggestions on improving it).
1. Make sure that the web site to hold the shopping cart is
on a dedicated
IP address. You should then purchase an SSL certificate for
that site.
2. All parts of the shopping cart which collect *any*
customer data - e.g.
name and address - should be protected by the SSL.
3. All monetary transactions should be handled by a card
payment processor,
e.g Worldpay, Metacharge. Let *them* deal with the credit
card details. All
you need to pass are sufficient transaction details so that
you can audit
back to the original sale if there are any queries.
Note that some payment processor company can also help you
set up the IMA
account (Metacharge certainly do), and this may save you some
hassle/money.
Otherwise you need to have the IMA account details to pass to
the payment
processor.
Once you think you're ready to go live, test it thoroughly.
Then test it
again, and test a little more. Test for invalid transactions
are well as
valid ones. The card companies have test numbers you can use,
but also do a
few live payment tests before releasing it to the client (do
it on your own
card, then refund it through the payment processors
interface).
HTH,
Pete.

Can I buy an iPad 2 in the App Store from Argentina?
Hello! I really want to buy an iPad 2, but when I shop in the App Store, I can't use my ZIP Code (I'm from Argentina). What can I do?
You can't buy any hardware in the App Store. That, as the name implies, is only for purchasing iOS applications. If you mean that you're trying to purchase from the online Apple Store in some other country, you can't. They won't take foreign credit cards nor ship to any other country. If you want to buy an iPad in Argentina, you will have to go to an authorized Apple dealer there. You can search for authorized dealers here:

Why can't I download Free iPod Touch Apps from Apps Store w/Shopping Cart?
I have an 8GB iPod Touch (original model) with the current 2.1 software. I also have iTunes v. 8.0. The behavior I am seeing started about 3 weeks ago and continues with these updates - it was not like this when I first downloaded the 2.0 software and began installing Apps.
I prefer to manage my iPod Touch applications in iTunes. I have my iTunes account set up for a Shopping Cart, not 1-Click Buy. This is because for Music, I prefer to add songs I will want to my shopping cart, then buy them when I want to.
When iTunes 7.7 first came out with v2.0 software, even though I have a Shopping Cart for my iTunes, I could "buy" a Free App just by clicking on it, and it would be automatically downloaded and added to my Applications folder on iTunes. Then, when I synced with my iPod Touch, it would install the app on my iPod Touch. This was true for either new Apps or upgrades to existing Apps.
For the last few weeks, every time I try to update even an existing App for my iPod Touch, if I do it through the iTunes store, I get the following message:
"Applications cannot be purchased with Shopping Cart.
Your preferences are currently set to buy using Shopping Cart. Application purchases cannot be placed in Shopping Cart: they must be purchase by 1-Click. Select Buy if you'd like to purchase [NAME OF APPLICATION} by using 1-Click and your credit card will be charged immediately."
The [NAME OF APPLICATION] is filled in with whatever application I am dealing with at that time.
Why is it that even with a Free application, and an update for it at that, it will not let me obtain it with iTunes if I have a Shopping Cart? So far, I have solved the problem by doing all of my Applications management on my iPod Touch. I use the iTunes Store on my iPod Touch to search for and download the application. Then, when I sync, it places it in my Applications folder on iTunes on my PC.
This is very strange behavior for iTunes. Why would it want to charge my credit card for a Free Application?
Many thanks.
JoeHi Steve,
Thanks for your reply. I do have a valid Credit Card on the account. In addition, I also have about a $5 credit from an iTunes gift card in my iTunes account.
In any event, I'm actually NOT purchasing anything. All I'm trying to do is download a FREE App for my iPod Touch. It simply won't let me do it.
This is extremely frustrating.
Best regards.

App Store not using Shopping Cart
I'm trying to select apps for my iPod Touch and just noticed that when I select an app from the App Store, it is automatically downloading and purchasing the app instead of putting it in the Shopping Cart. I have specified in Preferences for the iTunes Store to use the Shopping Cart. Shouldn't the App Store use this Preference?
Hi,
You can use Family Safety to set an age-based or content-based rating level for the games and apps your child can see and install from the Windows Store.
In the meanwhile, with AppLocker, we have the ability to control the installation and the running the packaged app:

Apps store bug - No shopping cart?
I have "Buy using shopping cart" option turned on in iTunes > Preferences > Store but this does not work for the App store purchases.
Why not? This is the way the apps have been since the beginning (which was not all that long ago, of course). Could be an oversight, could be intentional, but it should not be the way the store is set up, IMHO.
You can submit feedback to Apple:
