Shopping Chart POPUP

Dear experts,
We are using SRM 5.00 and CCM 2.00.
On shopping process , search in cataloge >chose an item> add to SC , the Internet explorer 8 opens a new POPUP screen with the SC details.
Can we prevent this functionality , and get the data into the 1st screen without POPUP screen?

I am considering to use BC for web shop to sell printed products. I would like to add a feature that customer can choose printing size and server side script would count final price of the product.
I am now choosing a platform for my e-commerce but I do not know enough if BC is a good platform for developers? Is it possible to add this kind of features with BC API?

You create attributes on the product and an attribute can have a price associated with it that adds to the total product price.

Edit Chart error in web application designer

Hello,
Whenever I try to edit a chart in de WAD the edit popup window is empty (no edit fields). Does anyone know how to solve this error. BW is running on WAS 6.20 and I am running SAP GUI 6.40 patch 22.

Problem solved!
My graphics adapter was set to 128% DPI. This caused 2 errors:
1. The tabs below the template window where "overwritten" by the template window.
2. The "edit chart" popup window remained blank.
After setting my graphics adaper to 96 dpi (default) everything worked fine.

currently we are running SRM Project (shopping chart) with SRM-MDM Catalog.
based on our High Level architecture, we just installed instance below :
SAP SRM (AS ABAP)
SAP NW 7.4 which SRM_MDM_CAT, MDM_CONNECTOR, MDM_JAVA_API installed
SAP NW 7.4 which LM CONFIGURATION BS 1.0 and LM CONFIG SRV 7.3 installed for CTC (BS : SRM ERP Configuration V1) , this function as "small" PI/XI instead install SAP PI at separated instance (because we don't buy that license)
we did not install MDM server (honestly we confused, is it MDM running top of AS ABAP or AS JAVA?)
SAP Portal which BP SRM Installed there
our question are :
how to post configuration after install SRM_MDM_CAT, etc?? how we can check it?
      when we open UTL http://hostname:5000/SRM-MDM/SRM_MDM
     Server name, what do we must put it?
   and SRM CATALOG UTILITIES
if we click connection test, look like MDM Server will be putted it.
when we run CTC , we got some skip phase, do you have manual task instead automatic use CTC?
without MDM server, is it possible running Shopping chart SRM?

Hi Ranjith,
As per your log first approval level having 3 approvers/agent , any one of the apporver approve the WI ( parallel processing ), it is going to next level approval, ( ie, the rest of the two agents need not to approve , the WI will automatically disappear from their inbox , until and unless it is not dynamic parallel processing )
So in your case first level is approved one of the agents out of 3 and the WI is now with the second level approver /agent ( ie, new agent of second level )

Swap X and Y in a Scatter Plot

Seems like this should have a simple answer. I have a table of data, and I'd like to generate a scatter plot of two columns. The plot comes out fine, but I want to "swap" the X and Y axis in the resulting chart.
Is there a simple way to do this? I can't find anything in the chart popup-menu, the inspector, or the application menus.

This is a user to user forum, and I'll admit that I don't have a great grip on Numbers Charts, so I may be missing something myself. However, I don't know of an easy way to swap the axes either. What I would do is to create an auxiliary column that repeats the X data in a column just to the right of the Y data. Then I would create a new chart that plots the second and third columns, effectively reversing the axes. The third column can be hidden. Of course you could also just reverse your x and y columns before plotting, but that might be more disruptive to your overall table organization.

I believe that, after some experimentation, I have a better method for you. Highlight the X Range only and create a Scatter Chart. The Chart will be blank since you have not yet supplied a Y range. Then highlight your Y range and drag it to the blank chart. A new Y series will be inserted.

Graph in a subscreen area

Hi Experts,
How do you create a graph in a subscreen?
I checked out transaction GRAL but all the graph charts popup in a separate screen.
Moreover I do not want the BOXES internal table attached to the chart. How do you suppress this functionality? Because in it's place I need an ALV tree instead.

Very helpful, but this presents a new problem.
The chart data is not static, I need to refresh the graph when data is changed.
The Gantt chart generated by the Chart Designer is an XML file that is very very huge to code into abap using the IF_XML_ELEMENT classes as per sample program GRAPHICS_GUI_CE_DEMO.
So I would like to use the XML file as a template in my dialog program and change it when the data changes. Any ideas how to do this?

Handle custom field from URL

Hi Gurus,
I am implementing one enhancement for SRM shopping chart, according the requirement the value of the new customizing field should be populated from one new parameter of the URL as follow:
'http://<domain>/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart?CUSTOM_FIELD=XYZ&sap-client=100&sap-language=EN'.
I have implemented the following code in the request handler class to get the whole URL, but I got back only the standard part of the URL not the custom part.
url = server->request->get_header_field( if_http_header_fields_sap=>request_uri ).
I have also tried the following code, but it dos not returned the value.
url = server->request->get_uri_parameter( 'CUSTOM_FIELD' ).
I would appreciate any help if you had experience with any similar requirement.

Thanks for your reply, but it is did not work for me. And even if I used the code;
CALL METHOD server->request->get_form_fields
    CHANGING
      fields = li_fields.
to get all form fields I got only the following standard field values in the output table
     ~client
     ~language
     ~logingroup
     sap-client
     sap-language
     addsession
     parentbbpsession
     sap-client
     sap-language
I just manually added the CUSTOM_FIELD to the URL. May I have to configure this parameter somewhere else too? (The ITS service is BBPSC01 in SRM.)

Scope of components in atg

hi everyone,
i just want to know the default scope and the recommended scope of
1) droplets
2) form-handlers
will the objects of the respective component be destroyed after the scope?

This is a broad question, but the general recommendation for scope of Nucleus components are (in order of preference):
1. Global: for everything that doesn't have per-request or per-session (including reference to the current Profile) state or references.
2. Request: for everything that has request or session references, but doesn't need state that lasts between requests. Note that ATG request scope does carry over after a form-handler redirect (kind of like "flash scope" in some other systems).
3. Session: for things that have state that needs to last across multiple requests or the entire length of the session (profile and shopping cart, for example). Session components can also be used to cache per-user data that is expensive to fetch or calculate.
You want to try to minimize session-scoped components, since they both lead to more per-user session memory usage, and session scoped components require extra configuration and thought to properly handle session fail-over.
However, if you are manually resolving request or session components in a globally scoped component, chances are good it should be request or session scoped itself (outside of a few special cases).
For FormHandlers, you should probably start out with request scope as the default, since they typically need access to the user's profile, shopping chart, or other per-user data.
For Droplets, you should probably start out with global scope as the default, unless they need a configured reference to a session or request-scoped components. Alternatively, a droplet can remain globalky scoped but can require that the caller pass in the profile (or whatever) as a required input parameter (a little more work for the caller, though).

What installed iPhoto there in the first place? Was it the same version of iPhoto that came with the Mac? Was iLife added at a later time from a Mac Box Set? You can selectively install iPhoto, and then apply the appropriate iLife update without taking it to the shop, after removing the application, or recover it from your backup.

Postcode popup field on shopping cart page.

Hi,
Can the postcode (Australia Post) popup field, where you input your postcode, be a static field not popup on the shopping cart page? It pops up without a button to submit etc at the moment and you have to click your mouse button or press enter to apply your postcode? Or can I add a radio button with Express or Normal Post instead?

The BADI BBP_CREATE_BE_PO_NEW gets executed after approval as well. It is part of the PO creation process and allows you to modify the PO document before it is finalized.
