Shorcut key to print current page

hi everyone, when viewing a page,is there any shortcut key that i can press to print the current page automatically without going through print(in the taskbar) - current page - ok.

Not that I'm aware of, which is why I developed this tool that allows you to quickly print the current page with a single click:

  • How to print current page in Preview

Printing in Preview, I don't see an option in the print dialog that enables "print current page", how is that done?
The reason is that have a 90 page PDF document and the page numbers don't match so I can't just choose to print for example "from page 51 to 51", the wrong page prints (page 39). Both the drawer and the separate pages says the same page number but not when printing.
    Thanks.

Yeah, I thought so. I find the printing options very limited, across the board. To do things like "print current page" or "print selection" in Preview or Safari should be easy and obvious.
Thanks for the reply, I'll get Adobe Reader for now.

  • How do I make a print button that prints "current page" as default

I am working in Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0 and have created "print
buttons" in the pdf document I am working in. The print dialog box has "print all" automatically selected as the current default. How can
I create buttons that bring the user to the print dialog box automatically selected at "print current page?" I want the user to hit
the print button and have it automatically print the single page that they are viewing only, so that no one will accidentally print the entire book.

  • Print one page or Print current page

    Hi
I have a form which grows in page numbers.
I want users to be able to print out one page (or print current page)
I have tried using the Print button that comes default with the software.
    xfa.host.print(1, "7", (xfa.host.numPages -7).toString(), 0, 1, 0, 0, 0);
This works unless i add more instances of a field, which adds more pages to the form. This results in the wrong page being printed.
Is there a way that i can target one specific subform to be printed?
Or to print the current page using the Print button? without having to go to File - Print - current page?
This is how i've set the page i want to be printed.
    form1.quotation.quotationNew
any help would be greatly appreciated
    Thanks

    Hi,
if it is not too late, try this:
var nTemplatePage = 0; // this is the page as seen in the designer, before rendering.
    var nRenderedPage = xfa.layout.page(xfa.form.participant_document.FlowPage.all.item(nTemplatePage));
    nPageSpan = xfa.layout.pageSpan(xfa.form.participant_document.FlowPage.all.item(nTemplatePage));
nRenderedPage will be the new page number after rendering.
nPageSpan will be the number of pages the nTemplatePage spans to.
then, just put the nRenderedPage into your print as the two page parameters.
I have this code in a button on the pdf that I use for printing.
    hope that helps,
    John

  • When will Apple offer a "print current page" option????

There are 2 things I like about Windoze:
    1. I am tired of having to tab to the pages area of the print dialogue box and type 2 & 2 again, when I really wish Apple would just put a print current page option.
Can anyone who works @ apple see that it gets implemented next update?
    2. And also make it so we can resize a window from any side? Windoze does it, why not apple?

    Chris,
Sorry, but this is a user-to-user discussion forum. There is no one from Apple paid to read and respond to these posts. I have Never seen an Apple employee respond to the subject of a post here - only administrative stuff like You're not allowed to use that kind of language here, etc.....
Please go to the Tiger Mac OS X Feedback area - that is the place to give input to Apple.

  • Printing Current Page

When I am in a document that is 12 pages long how do I print "current page" on the LaserJet P1006?  There is no option in the print menu for this and there are no page #'s shown on the screen to tell it what page # to print.

At least you are very funny and not a bother at all.  I just had a discussion about Windows 8 - it is a good interface but is not setup like the conventional Windows 7.  I want to know what web browser you are using?  I went to a Windows 8 computer and tried to recreate everything you said. I am going to list some things and I would like for you to tell me what happens when you do it so I can follow along with you.
1 - I have right-clicked and found the print function in Internet Explorer.  That is a convenient option.  In the upper right hand corner was a gear.  I clicked on that and Print was the first thing on my list.  What happens when you go to Gmail and click on the gear in IE or the three lines in Google Chrome and select print? Do you have that option? Does it print?
2 - I went into the live apps.  I chose the sports app and once that opened, I moved my curser to the right side of the screen and the charms bar opened.  Unfortunetly the test unit did not have a printer installed but I would go to Devices in the Charms bar to print. No I could not recreate this step in a timely manner but try this step for me and let me know what happens please.
3 - What happens when you print? Does the format look okay?  Does the print quality look ok? Most importantly - do you get an error message?  I am very curious to know as this is very rare. I am more than happy to help so keep sharing your experiences. It helps others in so many ways.
Don't forgot to say thanks by giving "Kudos" if I helped solve your problem.

  • Maverick 10.9 download.  Command key makes the current page hide and return.  How can I stop this?

    Hello,
The Maverick update on my 2009 Mac caused the command key to cause the current page to hide.  It sometimes stays in the side but mostly, after a delay, will return to the screen with the action completed.  Such commands as Print, Copy, Paste, all of the Command shortcuts do this.
It is impossible to focus on the work since it disappears, delays and then returns.
How can I change this to act like the usual commands and just make the action occur instantly on the page as it rests on the screen?
    Thanks

  • Cannot Print "current page" or "page range" in Compatibilty Mode in Word 2010

We are upgrading to Word 2010 from Word XP
All old documents open in Compatibility Mode
None can print a page range or current page, the whole document prints instead
I have tried to "Convert" to the 2010 format to no avail.
This does not happen on Documents created in 2010.
The only workaround I have found is to Copy the entire document into a New Word 2010 Document.
Is there a fix for this? Is anyone else having the same problem?  It is not the same as the section problem I have seen all over these forums.
    Thanks

  • Short-cut key to rotate current page

In Acrobat Pro 9, Is there a single key stroke to rotate current page clockwise/counter clockwise 90°?
Not Shift+Ctrl-R, because you have to select some parametes. It is not a single key stroke.
If not, then how to do that by some ways, e.g., macro, script...?

    hi dinesh ,
This is not working.with this key it exits the workbench, but with out exits the workbench how can we go to the command field area.

  • 6310 only prints current page

My 6310 has always worked fine, until I replaced my laptop with a windows 7 unit.  This laptop is networked to the desktop which has the 6310 attached.  Now it only prints a single page document from the networked laptop, or it will print individual pages one at a time by selecting current page.  If I try to select pages 1-2, it will not print at all, nor will it print if I select all.  It goes through the motions, and the progress bar shows that something is happening, but it never reaches the printer.

I too am having the same problem. I have a 7310. It will print multiple pages from Word, but nothing else I have found yet (Safari, Preview, etc). My wifes iBook does the same. Both are running 10.4.7 and the latest HP drivers.

  • Programmatically print current page in a drill-down view

    VB.NET 2008, CR 2008
Calling the PrintToPrinter method of the Report Document allows me to print a specified page to the printer.
However, there doesn't seem to be a similar method that allows specifying a page for the viewer control.
Is there any way to programmatically print the current page displayed in the Viewer, even when the view is a drill-down view?
    Thanks
    ido

    Hi David,
    Thanks for the quick reply.
Perhaps I didn't explain myself clearly enough.  I can't use the reportDocument.PrintToPrinter() method because that method completely ignores the fact that the viewer control is currently showing a drill-down view.
For example, if the viewer is showing Page 1 of a drill-down or on-demand subreport, calling reportDocument.PrintToPrinter() would print a page from the main report, not from the drill-down view.
So, the question is: can I print a specified page from the Viewer control (not from the ReportDocument object).
    Thanks,
    ido

  • Print Current Page only

I have added a print button to each page of my 4 page form, but I want the print button to print only the current page the user is on. I have put the following script in, but this prints the designated page plus any subsequent pages. How do I print only the specified page?
    xfa.host.print(0, "1", (xfa.host.numPages -1).toString(), 0, 0, 0, 0, 0);

No, but it's possible to add a new menu item to Reader that will open the Print dialog with that option selected by default when you click it.

My mac air will only print the current page, this happens on several different printers. I tried to change the printer options to all pages etc, doesnt work

Hi LHP66, For further assistance, I will need some more information: What is the name of the program you are printing from?Does this happen with any other programs when printing? What happens when you make a copy with the printer? Copy Text or Mixed Documents. Can you take a screenshot and post it on here? How to take and post a screenshot on HP Support Forum. What solutions have you tried? Once I know these answers, I will do some further research for you! Hope to hear from you soon!  “Please click the Thumbs up icon below to thank me for responding.”
