Short cut assign all transactions code to a user, restrict only few tr code

Hi,
I know how to assign transaction code to user, and restrict transaction codes to the user through pfcg assigning role.
If I want to assign all transaction codes to a user except say su01, and pfcg, then I have to write all the transaction codes to a profile assigned to the user except pfcg and su01, which is a tedious job.  Thus is there any way like in sap_all if I can exclude only those transaction codes which I want to exclude to a user.
No one would like to write down 1000 tr code assigned to a user. Is there a short and better way?
Thanks
syed

Create a new role using PFCG go to the authorization tab and use the sap_all template and remove the authorizations for the transaction you don't want to assign.
Thats it

  • Assignment of Transaction variant to some users only

    Hi,
I have created one transaction variant for T.code:MM02. With this some fields were made display mode. I want assign this Transaction variant to few of the users only not all users. That is for others the above are changeble.
So I want to know how to assign this transaction variant to respective users only. If I activate this as standard variant, it is applicable to all. But I want to assign to few only.

    Hi,
I tried this before posting the above. When I assigned some users, it is reflecting all users (Irrespective of users assignment, if I activated).

    Hi,
Use the PPM toolkit class CL_CRM_PPM_UM_TOOLKIT. You can use the method You can use the method GET_ASSIGNMENTS_OF_USER which returns positions held by an user(user name).  You may also find the method GET_POSITION_OF_USER useful. It accepts username and the organization ID and will return the positions held by the user under that organization.
This class always uses the current plan (01). If you want otherwise, you can use the FM RH_STRUC_GET. As to how this FM should be used, look inside the above said methods.

  • Unable to assign all security roles to a user with a new custom security role

    Dear All,
    Happy New Year.!
I have a query regarding the assignment of Security Roles to new users in CRM. Normally we assign the security roles to new users via an Admin user who has 'System Administrator' security role assigned to him/her. This works perfectly fine, and we can assign
any desired security role to the new user.
However, in our case, we need to delegate the user creation rights to some of the client partners. We do not want to give them access to all the Administration functions; hence we created a new Security Role, lets say 'Support User Role'. We have provided
'Create', 'Append', 'Append To', and 'Assign' rights on 'User' entity for this new security role. With this security role, we are able to create new users now, but we are only able to assign 'Agent' security role, not any other security roles.
For example, if user 'x' has Security Role defined as 'Support User Role'. If 'x' tries to add a new user 'y', then 'x' is only able to assign 'Agent' security role to 'y', but not any other security role. As per business requirement, 'x' should be able
to assign some other security roles, including 'Support User Role', to new user 'y'.
I believe that there is something missing in Security Role configuration, which is causing the above problem. We compared both 'Support User Role' and 'System Administrator' security roles, but not able to figure out which minimum rights we can provide to
'Support User Role' so that users with this security role can only add new users (with any security role), and that they are not having access on any other Administration features as well.
Appreciate any help that you can provide on the above issue.
    Thanks in anticipation.

    Hi,
Can you check if you have organization level Read access for Securitity Role and Organization level Assign access for Security role.

  • Why am I not able to download all the messages from the email server, only few are downloaded, the rest are not? Things were fine until last week.

I've tried all the suggestions including deleting the inbox.msf etc. I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling Thunderbird, but none of them seem to work.

Is it hanging on the same message each time? If so go to your email providers web mail site and log into your account there. Read and delete the problem message and see if the remaining messages download.

  • Web ADI Create Document - Short Cut available to Select Responsibilities

Web ADI Create Document - Short Cut - Save to Form Funciton, available only to select WEB ADI Responsibilites
How do I make available saved Short Cuts - Form Functions, available to a select group of GL Responsibilites that can only create Web ADI documents. I only want them to be able to select about 4 to 8 saved Short Cuts, limiit all others and not allow them to create new short cuts using "Save to Short Cut List" or "Save to Form Functon".
Saved functions start with a generic name (Example: xxxxxx - Fun Amts - Single Ex2003). Other form functions not to be assessable with start with a differenct genteric name (Example: yyyyyy - Fun Amts - Single Ex2003).
Responsiblities follow a generic name pattern of: aaaaaaaa Comapny_Name Web ADI, where Company_Name can change by responsiblity. All aaaaaaaa would be allowed access to the same saved form functions.
WEB ADI used only for GL Journal Entry
    RDBMS 10.2.0.4.0
    Apps: 11.5.10.2
    Thanks for you assistance.

    Hi.
I am not fully sure about your question. If you know how the function has been defined, what prevents you from assigning this function to a menu and use it?

  • Short dump in every transaction during support pack import - Solution Mgr

I am in the middle of applying support packs SP13 and SP14 for Solution Manager.  In SPAM, during the import, I received short dumps.  I get short dump for all transactions.  The error message is 'Syntax error in program "SAPLWB_CUSTOMIZING", Field "G_DC_TABSTR" is unknown in INCLUDE LWB_CUSTOMIZINGDEV'.

    Hi
My first question, would be, why are you performing  other activities while importing patches?
    This is not recommended.

  • Short dumps in every transaction during the Support pack import

I am in the middle of applying support packs SP12 on NetWeaver 7.0. In SPAM, during the import, I received short dumps. I get short dump for all transactions i excute now. I am unable to go to SPAM to continue the SPAM, all I get short dumps. This is our new training system that we are building. I had same issues before, and I got help from SAP for this issue, where they suggested tp command wiht lots of options to run at the OS level. Since I moved company I am not able access the same ticket. Do anyone of you guys know the OS tp command to continue the SPAM import phase?
    Please and thanks
    Kumar

    Hi,
SAP does not recommend to run SP's at OS level. Most of time when u r running SAP_BASIS , u will receive ABAP dumps. then option is to run SP at using tp command & you have to analyze many things before running this command.

  • Keyboard short cut problems

I updated my Mac and everything was fine until i had to restart it. My Photoshop's keyboard short cut became all random like this:
I tried restarting my computer again but it has not changes. The most weird part is that when i tried to change the short-cuts, it won't work even though i clicked on accept and "ok". Is there a way i can turn this back? It wasn't like this when i first got this back at November.

    quote from:
    https://discussions.apple.com/message/23471905#23471905
    1) While in Photoshop, go to 'Keyboard Shortcuts' under the 'Edit' menu in the Mac's menu bar. The 'Keyboard Shortcuts and Menus' panel opens.
    2) With the 'Keyboard Shortcuts' tab selected (as opposed to 'Menus'), double-click 'File' (has a triangle next to it) under the 'Application Menu Command' and select/highlight the 'Open...' command.
    3) Without editing the key shortcut in any way, click the 'Accept' button to the right. Then 'Okay' to close the panel. This successfully reinstates the 'Open' keyboard shortcut.
    4) At this point, you're probably thinking, 'My god, I'm going to have to repeat this process for every single keyboard shortcut...'. But no, simply 'accepting' the 'Open' command appears to successfully reinstate every other keyboard shortcut too!

  • How do I view all transactions run by a certain user?

    Hi SDN experts,
I am being asked by management whether it is possible to provide a report showing all transactions run by certain users and I'm struggling to figure out how to do this in 'standard' SAP.
I can use ST03N to show all users that have run a certain transaction, but can't see anywhere in ST03N that gives this information the other way round (i.e. all transactions run by a certain user). I can use SUIM to see all transactions that a user is authorised to run, but this doesn't show me which of those transactions a user has actually run - which is what I need.
Can anyone help me with this?
    Many thanks,
    Arwel.

    Hi Arwel,
You need to run Auditing by configuring SM19, it's very simple you need to select the tabs which are need to be audited. This will create small amount of log file make sure about disk space.
Once you turn on auditing you can go to SM20 and watch all the activities of the users. Make sure that you configure SM19 after every server reboot.
    Regards,
    Hari.

  • SPRO short cut T-Codes

    Dear all Guru,
it's very tedious to go to SPRO by  navigation.
can anybody give the list of short cut T-Codes for SPRO transactions.
and also if i need to see the T - codes for any transaction in SPRO how can i get it?
    Regards,
    Vimlesh

Go to SPRO Node and Right Click and Select Display Documentation and here in ID field you will get the trxn code for node. (Last four Chars)
Else go to SPRO-Menu- Additional Information-Display key-IMG activity.
For some nodes Trxn codes may not work.
