Regarding Short Dump While loading data from DB Connect
Dear All,
We are having an issue of getting short dump while loading data from DB Connect to BW. We were able to load the data into BW Dev using the same data source without any problem. Whereas in Production, I am getting the following error:
Runtime Error PERFORM_CONFLICT_TAB_TYPE
Except. CX_SY_DYN_CALL_ILLEGAL_TYPE
What could be the reason for the error that I am gettinghi,
Refer Note 707986 - Writing in trans. InfoCubes: PERFORM_CONFLICT_TAB_TYPE
Summary
Symptom
When data is written to a transactional InfoCube, the termination PERFORM_CONFLICT_TAB_TYPE occurs. The short dump lists the following reasons for the termination:
("X") The row types of the two tables are incompatible.
("X") The table keys of the two tables do not correspond.
Other terms
transactional InfoCube, SEM, BPS, BPS0, APO
Reason and Prerequisites
The error is caused by an intensified type check in the ABAP runtime environment.

Short Dump while loading data into the GL ODS
Hello Guyz
I am getting a database error while loading the GL ODS in BW. I am performing an INIT load, and the error occurs during the activation stage:
Database ErrorHello Atul,
PSAPTEMP has nothing to do with PSA. It is a temporary storage space and is present in all systems.
You can check this in transaction DB02 if you are using Bw 3.x and DB02OLD if you are using BI 7.0. Once in DB02/DB02OLD, you will see a block which says tablespaces. In this block, there is a push button for freespace statistics, click on it and it will take you to a screen which shows the free space for all tablespaces.
Hope this helps,
Regards. -

Listener is working fine, Checked the RFC connections, Tried restarting the system, tried adding space to the TEMP tablespace as well as PSAPBWP, but they didn't work.
Please help. The problem got solved as there were DB errors like ORA-01114: IO error writing block to file 256 (block # 126218).
Here the point to be notes is file 256. The number greater than 255 indicates a temp datafile. This indicates an issue with PSAPTEMP tablespace. When checked on PSAPTEMP tablespace, one of the filesystems where one temp data file sitting was full. The filesystem was 100% full. This will prevent the temp datafile to grow and shrink as and when required.
So, adding more space to the filesystem solved the problem.
Thanks to everyone who have shown interest in solving my problem. -
Hi All,
I am getting this error message while loading data in BW. The eeror message is below:
Data not received in PSA Table.
Diagnosis
Data has not been updated in PSA Table . The request is probably still running or there was a short dump.
Procedure
In the short dump overview in BW, look for the short dump that belongs to your data request. Make sure the correct date and time are specified in the selection screen.
You can use the wizard to get to the short dump list, or follow the menu path "Environment -> Short dump -> In Data Warehouse".
Removing errors
Follow the instructions in the short dump.
When I checked the short dump it is as below.
ShrtText
An SQL error occurred when accessing a table.
What can you do?
Make a note of the actions and input which caused the error.
To resolve the problem, contact your SAP system administrator.
You can use transaction ST22 (ABAP Dump Analysis) to view and administer termination messages, especially those beyond their normal deletion date.
How to correct the error
Database error text........: "ORA-14400: inserted partition key does not map to any partition"
Internal call code.........: "[RSQL/INSR//BIC/B0000541000 ]"
Please check the entries in the system log (Transaction SM21).
You may able to find an interim solution to the problem in the SAP note system. If you have access to the note system yourself, use the following search criteria:

Can someone suggest me what should I check?
Thanks in advance. Thanks a lot Manga. I did what you told and it gave me this error message.
Inconsistency: High value for table /BIC/B0000541000: 0002 ; PARTNO value in RSTSODS: 0022
So you mean to say once I click on correct error button, it should be good. So after that if do the loading, it should not give me this problem if I am right.
But can you tell me what exactly does that error message mean? Also is this not an table space issue. I have to wait to correct that error as DBA is currently looking into it.

Short dump while loading data in to Bw using Process Chain.
got the problem in the Production System.......... I won't get any confirmation from my customer to debug the program in the Poduction.
In BW I have to load the data every day using the process chain. in the monitor I can't find any problem every thing is working fine. status is green.. and loads the data into ODS successfully. But the job runs more than 6 Hrs and automatically an E-mail is sent to us that the processing takes long time. But it loads the data successfully into ODS.
Since 10 days everyday we got a mail with the same problem. My customer asked me tTo analyse the problem.
I check the short dump there I found that due to some problem the program get intrupted.

Dump while loading data to ODS through DB conne'PERFORM_CONFLICT_TAB_TYPE'
Experts,
Recently we have upgraded our system from BW3.5 to BI7. And now we are trying to load data to our ODS through DB connect , we received the following dump, PERFORM_CONFLICT_TAB_TYPE with the following details.
An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_DYN_CALL_ILLEGAL_TYPE', wa
not caught in
procedure "RSDBC_DB_DATA_RECEIVED" "(FUNCTION)", nor was it propagated by a
RAISING clause.
Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the
exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
The reason for the exception is:
The FORM "CONVERT_ITAB_RFC" was called incorrectly.
The call of the FORM is incorrect for parameter nr. 1:
The internal table that is transferred to the formal table parameter has
a type that is not compatible with the type of the formal parameter.
The FORM "CONVERT_ITAB_RFC" is defined in the program
"GP4C4EYDNEUWXEILWKWX5EUBO6I".
Still we have not gone for object migration , so the objects are maintained in 3.5 version only. I have activated my Transfer rule/structure but no use.
I searched in SDN and found the following OSS, 712216 & 707986 . but those were talking about BW3.5 version and infocube.
Can anybody through some light.
Best Regards,
V.SenthilTrying checking your source system connection. The problem may be as simple as a broken RFC connections. IF an error occurs, it may be more actionalble than the stack dump.
Let me know if this helps.

Regarding short dump while loading data
Hi All,
I am loading data using 0FI_GL_4. This is a periodic load which was working fine till March. There are lot of postings that happened in April and period was open till 20th. Now when I am trying to load that for 12th period April. I am getting the following error "ABAP/4 processor: DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR" in short dump.
This is the error analysis:
An exception occurred. This exception is dealt with in more detail below
. The exception, which is assigned to the class 'CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB', was
neither
caught nor passed along using a RAISING clause, in the procedure
"BWFIR_READ_BSEG_CPUDT_DATA" "(FUNCTION)"
I am tried to load data 5 times till now and every time I am getting the same error. I checked with Basis people for the DB space and it is fine.
Why I am suddenly getting this error???Hi,
it looks like an internal table overflow in your source system.
Try reducing the data_package size of your load or ask your basis guys to have a look on short dump and perhaps increase this memory.
Try RSA3 in the source system and see if it works with your data_package size values from BW and see if it works. If not reduce the number of records...
On which plugin release is your system running?
hope this helps,

164Hi Hardeep,
Looks like the transformation and DTP need to be activated again.
The error is RSBK (299) - 'Invalid program status'. So please activate the transformation and DTP possibly activate the DSO's too.
It should then work.
Thanks

System Throws short dump while executing data source 2LIS_11_VASCL in RSA3.
Hello Experts,
I got short dump while executing data source 2LIS_11_VASCL in RSA3.
The details are as follow.
When importing object "MC11VA0SCL_TAB", the structure did not match the
structure of the target object. The error occurred in component
no. 567.
This may be due to one of the following reasons:
- the structure is actually different (the next field has, for
example, a different data type) or
- the same sequence of components were exported and imported,
but the fields were from other include units.
I have checked source and target fields and those are of same length and data type.
Could you please give some points why this short dump occurs.
Thanks
Konda ReddyHi,
This error is not between BI and R/3. It is within R/3. You may have setup data and then modified the datasource.
Delete setup data, generate your datasource again. Setup data and try again.
If you are on a live system with data setup after a downtime and you do not want to delete it, then bring your datasource to the original state when you setup data and pull data.

Error while loading data to ODS
Hello BW folks ,
I am getting an error while loading data to ODS from R/3 data source.
The error message is " Error in PSA".
We have deleted yesterday data from PSA for the related infosource/data source successfully .
Since then this error is occuring. Previously data upload was successful.
In Detail tab of monitor we are getting error message in Request option ( red Mark )
and the same request is not going to R/3 .
<b>The related Job itself is not present in R/3 .</b>
This looks very strange and new to me .
Could anyone help me in rectifying this issue ?
Thanks in Advance.
Best Regards ,
Amol.Hello All,
Thanks for reply.
I tried to replicate the data source once again and activate the transfer rules in BW Production by running program in SE38 = RS_TRANS* activate all tranfer sturctures , then I got an error message that one infoobject is added to transfer rules in BW Production .
But interestingly the same Transfer rules do not have this infoobject in BW Development server . So I create once again a request for Transfer rules in Dev and transported it to BW production.
and This solved the problem
The error message in Monitor was " Error in PSA " and then request itself was not going to R/3 . But the real issue was with Transfer rules. So after rectifying it we have solved the problem of data upload.

Short dump while reconstructing request in ODS
Hi
I had loaded a request into a few ODS, but later found i had to do some changes to the PSA manually, so i deleted the request from all the ODS and modified the records in the PSA.
Now when i try reconstruction it gives a short dump in one of the ODS with message "Exception condition "NOT_EXIST" raised. ".
Data from this ODS was further loaded to a few other targets as delta and while deleting the request it gave a message saying the delta will be deactivated, I said Ok and the request was deleted.
I was able to reconstruct the request in all the other ODS and cubes without any issues.
what could be the problem???
Regards
SujaiHi
I am doing PSA to ODS. The data is available in PSA. the reconstruction went thru fine in the other targets. but when i try it in the ODS that i want it goes for a dump. This is where the error occurs.. shown in the dump..
select * from rsreqicods into table l_t_rsreqicods where
tabname = i_dta and
typ = 'I' and
odssid = i_odssid.
if sy-subrc <> 0.
raise not_exist. -----> Error in this line
exit.
endif.

Error while loading data to ODS in BI7
Getting such following errors when loading data to ODS through DTP(Data Transfer Process) in BI7.
Runtime error while executing rule -> see long text RSTRAN
Record filtered because records with the same key contain errors RSM2
and many so on...
source system is ok no problem with the connection part.
plz help.Hi Anup.
Probably your records are not Unique, while you have told the system they should be.
Try to move a discrimination characteristic from data fileds to key fileds.
Or
Try to set the "duplicate reords allowed" setting in your datasource (tab "General Settings" Delivery of Duplicate Data Recs. = Allowed)
