Short menu vs. full menu

I have the 9630 tour. Under options "screen/Keyboard" menu style, I have "full menu" selected. Frequently on the phone's front when I press the menu key, the short screen apperars, and I can't access what I need to from there. How do I go back to the full menu so that the full menu appears? Thanks for any help

hmm... when only the short menu appears, it should have a last option of "full menu".
Try this, at Options > ScreenKeyboard, change that to Short Menu and try it.
Now, set it back to full menu.
Does that work now?

Short Menu missing.

On Long Press in the Hub or Phone or any other app used to bring up a short menu only with the icons displaying in the previous OS.
The 10.3.1 now opens up the entire menu, which is quite bothersome....
Anyone else notice this feature missing?

you are right.
but in fact that feature is materialized by the action bar at the bottom of the screen, where you have usually 1, 2 or 3 actions.
the overflow menu is indeed the equivalent of the BlackBerry menu from the BBOS phones (Curve, Bold, Torch).

Are long term backups created from short term tape full + incremental?

Does DPM use short term tape, Full + incrementals to create the long term Tape backups?
For example, if i run a short term to tape full with incremental against a computer with a 1 week retention then run a long term recovery point every 1 week for for 4 weeks and 1 recovery point every month for 6 months.
will all the long term RPs actually run a full backup or will they build one from the previous full plus incremental?
My question is two fold,
1. i am concerned about total long term storage
2. I am concerned about time needed to complete the full backup.

DPM doesn't support incremental backups to Tape. Tape Backups are always full.

Keyboard short cut for full screen in fcp

On my new macbook pro I can't figure which key allows full screen in FCP...I tought it was command + f12, but that's the volume control...

It is command F12. But if you want the Fkeys to function like Fkeys, you need to go into the Keyboards System Prefs to check that option.

Can you make a menu for the right-click search so that when I highlight text and search, I can choose which search engine to use?

If you Highlight text you can right-click on it to pull up a short menu. One option is "Search x search engine for 'highlighted text'" Previously, the search engine selected would be whichever search engine was selected on the search bar, so Google or Amazon.com, etc. Because you can no longer change that selection before you search, the search engine is set to your default. Was an annoyance before, but now it's just a hindrance.

How can I set up tablet shortcut menu button for the middle button my X230T?

I think I have a faulty X230T, there are now only three tablet buttons and the middle does not do anything. I have installed 7wg737.exe (tablet short menu for Win7), but it does nothing.
When I go into Tablet PC setting>buttons, only one button shows up and that's the screen rotation button.
Is there a way to assign the middle button to shortcut menu? Otherwise I'm unable to change brightness or volumn during tablet mode which would make this tablet unusable.

In the GP install command, did you specify two menu items in the application specific parameters? Do you have a trace of the installation command that failed?

Spry Horizontal Menu Height

I have searched in this forum but no solution seems to help.
Using fixed width (so I can fit all menu items along the
780px width of the page) some of the menu items wrap to the next
line. For example Stroll Along ("Along" would wrap underneath
"Stroll"). That's Ok but but I want the shorter menu items like
"walk" to be height adjusted (and centered) so that they line up
nicely with the the longer wrapped Stroll Along. I've tried to add
padding but it adds to ALL menu items

Setting Horizontal Menu widget to 100% width doesn't work

Hello, I'm trying to set a Horizontal Menu widget to 100% width within Muse so it spans across the browser, and it looks just fine while I'm editing it into Muse, but when I attempt to view it on any browser, I get a shorter menu, floating to the left of the screen. Does anyone know what could be wrong?
As you can notice in the attached screenshots, #1 is the Adobe Muse view, the menu's width is being scaled to the limit of the browser's view, and the Width setting clearly shows as "100%". In screenshot #2, is the exported site viewed on Google Chrome, with a smaller menu floating to the left.
I've been searching an answer for days, but can't find anyone with a similar issue. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
(I have an ongoing project with this problem holding it back, I just remade it on a new, clean file to replicate the issue and get the screenshots you see here)

How do you create short audio clips? say, 4 seconds

I can't export a 4 second clip in Version 6.0.5 b/c my end marker won't go shorter than 7 full measures. What's the trick?

You can export a shorter clip by narking the vour measures with the cycle region. Only the cycle region will be exported.
For example, turning on "cycle" (click the button with the cicle of two blue arrows) and marking four measures exported the four measures clip that I imported to the second track.

Settings for full HD

I did a short film in full HD (1920 x 1080) and want to know what are the best settings in Premiere Pro CS3 (when creating the project and when exporting) so I don't lose the quality. Whatever, the final media will be web.

Short term tape based protection

hi,
I am taking short term protection using tape for file server. and retention period is 2 weeks. so it is weekly full backup (which is defined in short term protection)
i can see that after 7 days it is taking new tape for full backup and for incremental backup.
i want to minimize usage of tapes. how can i do that? since a lots of space is wasted on tape.

Short-term tape "full and incremental" option
The full backup will require a free tape for each scheduled job, and the incremental backup for all data sources will be appended to a single separate tape.
As tapes fill up, new free tapes will be allocated.
When the next full backup occurs, it will require another free tape, and subsequent incremental backups will be appended to another free tape.

Battery indicator when full

Have seen a few things on the battery life, but not this. Got my iPhone 4 on day one and let it charge up and then run down to about 20%...then back up again. but today, when I look at the lock screen battery icon, it is not filling in the entire battery with green..stops just short of looking full, but the battery icon on the top shows a plug symbol telling me it is fully charged.
Is this normal? Does it trickle charge the last %?

In the iPhone 4 user manual (page 49 at the bottom) it states that the lightening bolt means it is charging and that the plug means it is charged.

Why aren't my notifications showing up on the top right corner or in the notifications sliding tab?

Hi!
I just have a quick question > I just upgraded to ML but I cannot get one single notification to display on my screen.
I checked every single option within system preferences, it says for every application 'banner/banner, sound, alert' under the 'notification' tab but alas, I have yet to see one popping on my screen. I tried with Mail and Messages - I see the number by the actual icon, but nothing on the screen or even in the notification center tab on the right.
When I check notification center itself, the switch is on 'ON'.
Any idea? Am I the only one out there with the issue?

system preferences - users and groups - login options - put a checkmark on show fast user switching menu as - drop down menu choose either short name or full name or icon.....
