Shortcut to show timecode

Hello,
Please let me know if you how to do this, and the keyboard shortcut.
In PPro CS3, I could double-click any clip on the timeline, so it would appear in the source window, and then press the "F" key, and in the source window it would show the clip's source timecode, at the spot where my current time indicator was on the clip.
This doesn't happen in CS4, so please let me know how it's done.
Thanks,
Tom

Hi Jim,
Thank you for giving me that info. I'm all set now, and that's a really helpful feature.
I changed the keyboard shortcut from M to F, for me, "F" stands for frame.
I already reassigned "M" to be the shortcut for the track select tool ("M" for "move", since that's what that tool does).
I'm not always a fan of the logic behind Adobe's preset keyboard shortcuts, so I appreciate that they let us reassign them.

  • Library shortcut not showing up after Connect to Office in SharePoint 2010

I clicked "Connect to Office" in the library ribbon. The shortcut to the site showed up under Favorites in window's explore.  But the library is not showing up.
The browser is IE 9, 32 bit.
any idea why the library shortcut not showing?

    Hi,
According to your description, after Connect to Office, The shortcut to library is not showing up under SharePoint Sites.
I have met the same issue with you, and I solved the issue by the following:
Delete SharePoint Sites under Favorites in window's explore and go to C:\Users\Your user account, delete the SharePoint Sites folder.
Go to  Connect to Office-> Click Manage SharePoint sites-> Delete all the library links.
Go to  Connect to Office-> Click add to SharePoint sites again and check the result.
If the shortcut to the site doesn’t show up under Favorites in  Windows explore,
go to C:\Users\Your user account, copy the SharePoint Sites folder, paste it into Favorites in Windows explore.

  • Shortcut for show in playlist???

Does anyone know if there is a shortcut to show if a song or video, etc is in a playlist? Right now, I click the song, right click and select show in playlist.
I want a quicker easier way to see if an item is in any playlist.
    Thanks!!!!

Skip that first click. Just right-click the song, and the menu will come up.
That saves you 33-1/3% of the effort.

  • Keyboard Shortcuts? Show Desktop?

Is there a possible keyboard shortcut to "show desktop"? I can't seem to find one on the macbook...

you can program 'hot corners' on assign a particular key to do that. here are the steps for each
Hot Corners: You can go into one corner of the screen and the computer will perform the assigned action. 1. go into System Prefs 2. Click 'Exposé and Spaces' 3. Click the scroll menu of the corner you want to activate and scroll down to 'Desktop' 4. Go all the way into that particular corner and the desktop should appear. Go back into the corner to show all your windows again.
Assigning a Key: 1. On the same pane as Hot Corners, click the scroll menu next to "Show Desktop" and click the key you want to assign to show the desktop when pressed. Make sure that this key has no other function, such as volume or brightness.
I know that's a lot of info, but it's worth writing it

  • How can I get the Voiceover Keyboard shortcuts to show up in a form in which I can copy

I have low vision & have been trying to learn to use Voiceover on both my iPhone & my Mac mini for months. Very frustrating.
    1. How can I get the Voiceover keyboard shortcut commans to show up in a form in which I can copy & paste them into a pages document so I can print it out & use for quick reference?? The one that shows up when I press VO +HH won't let me copy & paste it, & it won't show up in the Help section no matter what subject I enter. The help topics shown do not correlate with the topics I'm entering. why is that??
    2. Please make the cursor able to be wider, like in the software program Zoomtext, that I used when I had a PC. The razor-thin cursor (in this text box!) in Pages is impossible for me to see.
Thank you for any help you can provide.

You should be able to copy them from there.

  • Shortcut Remapping: Show Current Song

I've been able to navigate to the currently paying song just fine. But one of my FAVORITE shortcuts in iTunes is Cmd-L, Show Current Song. It shows me the song that is playing, in whatever venue it is playing it in, be it playlist or album or whatever. As the current Mac shortcut for Focus on the search bar has 2 Keymappings, would it be possible to remap Cmd-L to Show Current Song?

  • What is the safari keyboard shortcut for "show/hide address bar"?

I have been unable to identify the second of the two keys for the "show/hide address bar" shortcut in Safari.
It shows the command key and then a verticle line which I can not find on my keyboard. I tried i, l, and
1, but its none of those.
That would be a handy shortcut for me, but it seems to use a key I don't have!

It's ShiftCommand\ in U.S. and Canadian English. If you look at the backslash key in those layouts, there's a vertical bar above it.

  • Shortcut for showing and hiding the dock

Here is a quick question - is there a keyboard shortcut to quickly hide and show the Dock? This helps when using some applications that force the window beyond the reach of the Dock and place their OK and Cancel buttons beyond that region, forcing me to hide the Dock in System Preferences.

    Option-Command-D
Also see Mac OS X keyboard shortcuts.
You can also configure the Dock to autohide in Dock preferences.

  • [SOLVED] Gnome 3: Desktop shortcuts only show up for root

    Hey guys,
Last night I was setting up virtualbox stuff for all of the accounts on my computer and noticed that while I was logged under root, the gnome desktop actually had a My Computer, Home, and Trash shortcuts!
I thought it was very strange that there was a desktop folder but nothing ever showed up in my normal account.
It seems that only root is able to see these shortcuts on the desktop.
When I'm logged under my other accounts, all I see is the wallpaper and gnome panel really. Is there any easy fix to get anything in the desktop folder to actually show up on the desktop for all accounts?

Added a command for 'nautilus -n" at startup of gnome and now it works great.

  • Shortcut to Show iTunes when Minimized?

Hi everyone. Okay, since I updated iTunes (7.0.2) in the past couple months, I can't seem to figure this out.
If I minimize or hide iTunes, how can I call it back to show on my screen using my keyboard, without having to use my mouse to open it by clicking on the icon? It seems like this function disappeared since the last major update.
    Many thanks for your help!

Minimize and hiding are two different things.
Minimize will simply shrink the current window while leaving the application as the current app. If any other windows are open they stay open.
Hiding will put the app and all windows in that app in the background.
Use Command/Apple-H (hide) instead of Command/Apple-M (minimize).
Then use Command-Tab to bring iTunes back as the current app.
