What is Procedure for short close the Purrchase order .

u have to set deliver complition indicator set in PO under delivery tab
but this is only for information puropse
it will not stop u from making more gr agains PO
u will have to manually chang po qty = to delivery qty

The image I have is a scarf with a 'feathered' edge. (See scan). Or, it could be any image, for example, in a people shot, close cropping around their heads and shoulders to remove an unwanted background.

Purchase Order and Purchase Requisition

Hi To All,
my customer while using tcode me2m hase extracted purchase order opened since 2007. now he want to close all this order and settle them to zero. this operation should be done also for the purchase requisition.
there is a standard way to do this? if not any idea?

Just by doing
In the PO line item level details, activate DELIVERY COMPLETED check box.
system will not close po from GR
U will have to check what is the gr qty did till date
and update the po with the same qty manually
eq
if po qty is 50 and total gr done till date is 40
change the PO qty to 40 and save
this is the way u can shot close the po

Although a further delivery is not expected, it is still possible.
At the time of the next goods receipt, the system suggests the item as unselected.
The purchase order item can be deleted, even if the total quantity was not delivered.
Although the "delivery completed" indicator is not set, a purchase order item is still considered closed if the full quantity has been delivered. In this case, the "delivery completed indicator" is not required.
The system allows to make further goods receipts. Why?

Transfer of Open PO's from multiple co codes to single co code- possible ?

Hi MM Experts,
I have a scenario where we want to transfer some Open PO's(Including MIGO/MIRO transactions) from company code say 5001, 5006 and 5007 to snother company code say 5999.
Is it possible to do so?
Has someone comemacross this kind of a requireemnt ?

u will have to shot close all such POs and create new PO in required company code

CVD condition change in import PO

Dear Experts,
There is a requirement to change CVD condition percentage for lot of import PO's which have partial GR. If we change condition records thru MEK1 tcode it is not effective since we have to go & update each & every line item conditions by clicking update procedure. It is also practically difficult to do for lot of PO's. Please let me know what needs to be done.

i think manually also not posible if GR have been done aginst that PO line item. as those are time independent conditions
cond record will be effective for new po only
either u will have to shot close all the PO and creat new line ite in same po or creat new one.
or
Any ways value of CVD flows for MIRO it has nothing to do with PO value in CVD , so i think it will not make much diffrence.

Yes u can change tax procedure in OBBG u can do it
u will have to do MAntain tax defaults
u will have to create condition recorde for combinatioon of plant vendor and material
etc
but u have to take care about all th open pos
u will not able to c old POs with old tax procedure
u will have to shot close all open pos and creat new
there thould not be any open GR as u will not able to post IV for those
so u should post all GR with out IV.

Clear metadata

Somewhere / somehow keywords were saved to actual raw file (Canon CR2) and not the XMP file. This may have happen back in my Bridge CS3 days. Is there anyway to scrub the raw file of unwanted metadata. I have tried deleting the xmp file; but, the unwanted metadata is sill there.

As I recall, there was a bug in CS3 where under some conditions metadata could be written into the cr2 file instead of an xmp file. You can test for this by looking at the file date of the cr2 file in windows explorer. Is its date and time stamp what you would expect for an unmodified file? If you have several cr2 files that you shot close to the same date and time, is the date and time stamp of the 'bad' cr2 file in the date-time of the series or does that cr2 have a later time stamp (which would indicate cr2 file had been modified)?
If the cr2 file had been modified I can think only of one way to fix the cr2 file (binary edit); but there might be usable workaround: create a dng then clear the undesired metadata from the dng.

Mail- always displays "downloading"

imm using montain lion o s x and my mail recently just displays in the message "loading", ive done all the checks wrt passwords and connectivity can anyone offer any suggestions

Deleting your mail account is a bit drastic and unnecessary. Instead - give the following process a shot:
Close down mail (i.e. double press the home button, hold on the mail icon until it starts to wiggle, then hit the minus sign).
Turn off your mail accounts
Go to Settings --> Mail, Contact, Calendars
Go into each account listed and flip mail from On to Off
Click the home button to exit settings
Start Mail - you should see the selection screen asking you what kind of mail account you want to create. More importantly you should not see the "downloading" at the bottom.
Click the home button to exit mail
Turn your mail accounts back on
Go to Settings --> Mail, Contact, Calendars
Go into each account listed and flip mail from Off to On
Click the home button to exit settings - get into mail and everything should be back and the "downloading" should be gone.

Best way to edit two angles together?

Hello all,
I have a relatively simple question. I was part of a two camera shoot for an event, and I now have two 22 min long clips. I shot wide from stage right, while the other photog shot close-ups from stage left. What's the most efficient way to combine these clips on the timeline?
I'm using my shot as the master shot, as I had a tap from the sound board. The other camera used the on board mic, and the sound is distorted throughout. The plan is to pull the close up shots off one by one (video only), sync them up, and lay them over my master shot.
Is there a better, or faster way to do this? Maybe put both clips on the timeline at once? How would I cut between the two if done that way?

Put your master shot, the one whose audio you want to use, on V1, A1/A2. Find a sync point between the two shots (camera flash, and audio point, something) and set an In point at the sync on both clips, (the one in the timeline, the one in the viewer)
Lock off your audio tracks and drop Cam 2 onto V2. Now you have your two shots, hopefully synced up, on top of each other. In order to see both shots you have a couple options. You could lower the opacity on V2 to allow you see "thru" it to V1 and help you make edit choices. Or reduce the scale of V2 so it is down in a corner or something, again allowing you to see both tracks. Go thru and use Markers to note where you want to make your cuts in V2 or go ahead and make the cuts. When done, restore V2 and Bob's your uncle.

Hi Rowby!
Thanks so much for writing in about green screen shooting with the EOS 5D Mark III camera. Green screen shooting can come down to some crucial elements and how well you handle the camera and the lighting.
Arguably the most important thing is to have excellent lighting on the screen. Without this, the keys used to replace the green screen will not be accurate. So hopefully you have a good set of lights you will be using to actually light the physical screen.
With regards to ISO, shoot as low as possible. We suggest that you stick in the ISO 200-400 range where possible. With good, high key, proper lighting on the screen this shouldn't be an issue.
Aperture should actually be in the higher end of the range, you would want to stick to apertures around f/8 and above. Again, with adequate lighting this shouldn't be out of reach. This is so the green screen is more in focus, versus having it out of focus, which would not yield successful results.
Use an appropriate lens to the subject, for example if you are doing wide shots- use only the focal length needed for the shoot and no wider. For head shots, close ups- use a lens that will get you close.
Following these suggestions should give you some pretty good results. Remember, if this is your first attempt don't be discouraged, green screen shooting can be difficult to accomplish.

Synchronizing Multi-clip using 2 Sets of Time codes

i have some concert footage I want to edit using Multi clips...
They are all time coded....
We shot close ups in the afternoon of all songs and then the same songs again in the night .
The after-noun songs have one time code and sync great in a multi clip..same as the night ones but have different time codes....
HOW do i get the afternoun and night clips into one Multi clip ,all in sync...????? using time codes?

Did all camera rolls run throughout the entire song? Or did you have starts and stops at different points of the song.
If you're using 'Inpoints' as your sync reference, all you should have to do is set an inpoint on each camera take. The differing timecodes won't matter, just that your inpoints are all at an initial sync point.

I'm having several multiclip issues.

Hello - I'm hoping someone with more knowledge than myself about FCP 7's multiclip function could help. I shot an acoustic duo performing the same song (the song was pumped through speakers as they played along with it) and did about 11 takes. This enabled me to get some wide shots, close shots, guitar shots, etc. The shot was done with a Canon Vixia HF S100 & Vixia HF S10. Same modes, same everything.
First Issue:
When I drag more than 4 clips to the timline, it's asking to render. Why? It doesn't matter which clips I bring in, if they are more than 4, it asks to render.
Second Issue:
When I use PluralEyes to sync, it syncs the clips fine. Again, it's asking me to render!?
Third Issue
I then drag the newly created multiclip file into the "Multiclip" sequence. Here's the real frustrating part. In order to play all of the clips and select which camera angle I want (thereby creating a marker on the timeline for editing), it will not play the multiclip files IF I have more than 5 clips. It just shows one clip and/or a window that says UNRENDERED.
What am I doing wrong? If I do this with 5 or less clips, no issue, however, if I do it with 6 clips, I get the below issue:

Well, that's not how you do Multiclip in FCP. It is ONE way, but not the way to use MULTICLIP. Look in the manual for that. What you are doing now is STACKING the clips. Now, what will make the renders go away...FAST STORAGE. It is needing you to render because whatever drive you have this footage stored on, can only play back so many streams of video...layers of video...at the same time. It will hit a wall. eSATA...MiniSAS...those are faster options. You will not get 11 streams with firewire. And it seems you have issues with four....

Ah...yes, PluralEyes will stack. And the reason you have to render is what I stated above. Media Drive speed.
Third issue...same thing. Drive speed. That's your bottleneck.

Best frame rate for shooting motion in 60 interlaced?

I'm working with some footage that includes some boats moving quickly. A lot of that was shot close up. I'm amazed at the artifacts that interlaced is producing. Quite frankly you feel you need new glasses when you look at it. Freeze a frame and the horizontal edges of each phase jump out. I have no idea what the shutter speed is in these shots but just wonder if this effect is totally unavoidable shooting interlaced. Possibly my camera was shooting at a very low shutter speed, so that might exagerate these artifacts, but even if I had shot at a very high speed they'd still be there, just perhaps to a lesser degree. Right? So any thoughts on this? Any ideas about the best way to capture motion when shooting interlaced. (This is ten-year old footage, so I suspect I'll have to try and recreate the event shooting progressive this time.)

The newer Flat Panel TVs and DVD players do a great job at de-interlacing.
Digital broadcast @ 1080 is still interlaced. So modern TVs need to be able to handle that.
If you're making standard def DVDs out of 1080 HDV footage you may want to consider de-interlacing when you down convert to 480. And down convert to Pro Rez rather than hdv. You'll have fewer artifacts that way.
You can also learn how to author Blu-ray which will be a better product for your hdv footage.

Close all the open Application in one-shot ?

Is there are any way to close all the open application in one shot in ipad rather than double-click the home button and close the apps one by one.

In principle, I agree with you...
But it appears that reality is not perfect. I observed on iPhone 3 that memory could be pretty clogged from time to time and I needed to restart it to free up memory and get it back to original speed again. It all depends on which apps you are running. Some appears to eat more memory than others. On iPhone 4, it appears to be less of a problem and I have seen that later iOS releases also makes this less of a problem. I only have a first generation iPad, but I have seen that later iOS releases have improved memory handling significantly there as well. However, it appears to be a good idea to reboot the device after a week or two just to flush the memory. I can't prove this theory scientifically, but I do see a difference in memory usage when doing this.
The reason I actually tried "Process Killer" was a tip that it addressed the problems many of us encountered with the first iOS 5 release: frequent crashes and slow performance. After the pretty quickly released iOS 5 update, that wes pretty much solved, but occasionally killing processes actually helped me at that point, It made both my devices more stable.
The original question was about battery performance, there I don't think that the amount of processes running is the key. A much better way of getting more out of your battery is shutting off location services in apps where they are not really needed. I would guess that turning off push notofications for as many apps as possible helps as well.
Also, turn off the Personal Hotspot on iPhone when it's not needed!
