Should a padlock be visible when on a secure site?

Padlock not visible when on secure site.

The padlock only shows that there is a secure connection and doesn't guarantee that you are connected to the right server. 
So you might still be connected to the wrong server if you make a typo in the URL and someone has claimed that mistyped URL. 
The functionality of the padlock has been replaced by the [[Site Identity Button]] on the left end of the location bar.

The status bar was along the bottom of the window. At the right end of that bar, a lock icon would appear when you are on a secure site, like banking or bill pay. With the status bar now gone, where do I see that lock icon?

When going to secure sites they load in HTML format

Occurs in IE 11 and downgraded to IE10 with the same issue. Reset IE to default settings and tried in Compatibility view still same issue.

As Robear Dyer mentioned that we need more information about your issue, we will be appreciate if you could give us more specific details about what was shown on Internet Explorer when you browse a secure site (a photo will be great).
Does this happen to all secure sites or specific sites? If it happens to specific sites we might need that for test.
When you say HTML format, do you mean HTML code or something else?

It's stuck on a yellow question marked "multimedia audio controller." It doesn't like the CD drivers or the drivers snarfed from the aborted "you don't have an sb controller installed" pull from windows\temp\CF whatever it was. It's 3am and I've been trying to get this stupid thing running for 7 hours now. I'm going to bed. I will see if it is any smarter tomorrow morning.
It was running great until I did an "update from the web." If I hadn't have done that I'd have no complaints. Now it's hosed and I can't even get back to where I was before. I'm not impressed with creative's installation procedure.
However, there are many people complaining about the "you don't have an SB installed" problem. Creative needs a "delete everything" button, and an "install all new drivers" button. Take a page out of ATI's book in the number of headaches created by windows installer and come up with a way to fix them yourself. ATI did. This would at least get me back to the BSOD, which right now I'm longing for.
This is on a shuttle st6g4 with a disable ac97 sound nonsense with those drivers removed.

I save a subsite as a template.... but its not visible when I do a create new site

I saved a subsite as a template successfully. I can see that in the solutions gallery my template exists in activated state.
Now when I click on site settings -> create.
I don't see this template in the option to create a new subsite.
Why?
My hope was that I would be able to create more subsites based on this template.

After enabling Publishing go to the Site Settings > Page Layouts and Site Templates section Under Look and Feel. on that page you will see a list of allowed Site Templates for that site. You should see your custom template in the box on
the left under page layouts. Add it to the right side and it should show in the interface when creating a new site.

Html code visible when sorting ascending

hello,
I have a report where one column is sortable, but when i click the column header to sort descending, some text is visible over the column headers.
this is the text that is visible, it is not visible when it sorted ascending.

is incorrect. It should be:
PlsqlNLSLanguage DANISH_DENMARK.AL32UTF8
regardless of database character set. Note that on some instances, the PL/SQL Web Toolkit patch will need to be applied to accommodate this.

Creating a webpart that is only visible when an image link is clicked

Hi,
Is it possible to make Webpart in Sharepoint 2010 only appear when a link or image is clicked?
i have 5 image buttons on my site page and for one of them, when it is clicked, the user will be directed to the Contents webpart i have created. This webpart should only be visible when the image linked to it is clicked, otherwise it should be hidden. Is
this possible?
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Custom FPM application: why is not visible when creating iview?

hi,
I am trying to modify an exiting mss application which is a fpm application.
i use the self service admin tool to copy the standard fpm application to a deltalink, and ,according to the documentation , next step should be creating an iview (webdynpro iview), and the delta link should be visible as an application variant ,but it's not there.
i tried many times and option ,but failed.
does anyone know what's going wrong?
another question is , if i build a new fpm application using the given tool, can it be visible when i create the iview? under which webdynpro component? i can only see com.sap...

I've the same problem, after copy the FPM application as delta linkit doesn't appear as anew app_variant when I create a new iview.
Does anybody know why this occurs?

JTree not visible when compiled

I have a problem that my JTree is not visible when i export my project to jar file.
along with a button also. I have no idea why this may be happening so maybe some of you guys have heard of this before ?

JTrees shouldn't be visible when you compile, they should be visible when you run the application :)

Deleted html button still visible when published?

i recentley deleted the html widget from my iweb which contained a twitter follow button and i have a new html code i am using which is a twitter feed, but when the site is pulished the twitter follow button is still visible, when the site is viewed from the home folder all looks fine, when its published to the ftp server the button is visible and not the html code currentley in use? what is the problem?

Ive had tunes downloaded on my PC for over 4 years. Currently when I login to my iTunes account it only lists 1 song on my playboard. I should have over 1000. When I log in on a different computer I can see the complete song list. Any ideas what to do?
