here's my suggestion: in the Oracle portal, you should add on the bottom of each pages the same action buttons than you put on the top : it prevents users from scrolling to top each time we want to apply changes

You can get the drop down list by either right-clicking on the back/forward buttons, or holding down the left button until the list appears.
If you want the drop-down arrow you can add it with the Back/forward dropmarker add-on - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/backforward-dropmarker

It sounds like you are missing the buttons to compose, reply, or forward an email on your iPhone. I recommend following steps in the tutorial below to address an issue like this (you can skip step 2 "Recharge iPhone" because it's not related to this issue). I think the step to reset your iPhone my be particularly useful in this scenario:
To reset iPhone, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Goup footer at bottom of page

We are working on a report in which we need to print a group footer at the end of each group, in addition the group footer should be at the bottom the page.
This is an invoice report for the clients, and we need to print the remittance address at the bottom of the page for each client. The problem is to anchor the "Remittance Address" portion at the bottom of the page. If there is not enough space on the first page the footer should move to bottom of next page.
Remember that the data portion may vary in length, also the header portion can vary in height. In addition there can be more than one client's per report.

In Report Builder navigate Help -> Quick Tour. This should explain how to add groups etc.

Any related object on the detail page should have an "Add" or "New" or both buttons by default - This is vanilla functionality and will do the required action.
If you want to modify this behaviour and do something tricky you will potentially have to go for javascript. You should add the javascript on a custom web tab on that Object.
Admin --> Application Customization --> Contact -->Contact Web Applet
Now, add your javascript in the code area, after you select the type = HTML for this web applet, expose this web applet on the Contact detail layout and your javascript will be invoked whenever this page is loaded.

i have a add button in my jsp page, which when pressed inserts data in DB, but when i press it once the record is inserted twice in DB, sometimes it is inserted only once and sometimes twice, plz help

How to add custom link or button to task details page to open a different t

Dear All
In HumanTasks Workflow, On task details page, I want to add a custom link or button. Clicking on this link or button, should load a different task details page.
The exact business usecase is like this:
1. We have some human tasks with very detailed payload like about 100 attributes. When the task is submitted for Approval, we send notification emails. These emails shows the Task Details with all these 100 attributes along with standard Approve, Reject buttons etc. NOW in addition to this, we want to add extra custom button/link like Custom View. When we click on this buton or link, it should replace the task details page with the Custom task details page contents. The reason is most of the managers/approvers access their emails on smart phones like iphones. So in these phones, seeing full task details (100 attributes) is very tedious. So we want to provide a simplified view of same task with very minimum attributes like about 10 with Approve, Reject buttons. Now this compact view details will have a button called Detailed View on click on which it loads details page.
So we want to have 2 pages for a task:
taskDetails1.jspx -> Has all 100 attributes with a custom button/link called "Compact View". Click on Compact View switch to below page.
taskCompact1.jspx -> Has only 10 attributes with a custom button/link called "Detailed View". Click on Detailed View switch to above page.
1. I tried implementing this using the VacationRequest sample where the payload is like creator, startdate, enddate, reason. I already have taskDetails1.jspx page, which shows this information in the email body.
2. I want to add another button to taskDetails1.jspx so that when I click on it, I want to load a different page like taskCompact.jspx which has only say creator, reason.
I already added a link and gave the url with parameters like taskId, taskContext etc which I got from bindings, but nothing is displayed when I click on custom button. The taskId, context values are comming correctly in the url.
So bottom line, what is the URL that I can provide in the task details page, to load a different task details page contents. I want to pass other taskdetails jsp details.
Please let me know, if there is any other approach to implement this usecase.

Hi,
I am not sure if you can add your own custom buttons to the application tool bar because your table control is in a sub screen area in a standard screen so the menu area would be controlled by the standard screen and not the subscreen , but along side the table control you can give buttons for scrolling and handle the same in the subscreen if you check the FM EXIT_SAPLMEREQ_002 it has a variable IM_UCOMM which would have the ucomm set in the subscreen so here you can handle your user command to scroll on the table control.

We tried to add the button on Service calender home page grid but not able to add it. We tried page rule, in that we used the
<PageRule Address="/sm/home_apptbook.aspx" /> but it failed to add button.
We also tried to add button using Mscrm.AptbookTab but still not succeeded.
So any one have solution on this.

Several admins have been wondering how to disable this new feature and I've been working with BusObjects Tech Support for a .NET on IIS solution. Your posting looks like what I was provided from TS on an initial effort, however, TS has updated as follows:
For .NET on IIS
In the CCM stop the World Wide Web Publishing Service
<Install Path> below refers to the location Business Objects is installed. By default it is: c:\Program Files\Business Obejcts\BusinessObjects Enterprise11.5\
Go to <Install Path>\Web Content\Enterprise115\Infoview
Open the web.config file in notepad or other text editor.
Search for the following: supportOnDemand
Change true to false
Save and close the file
In the same directory open the home.aspx in notepad or other text editor.
Search for the following: ondemandlink
Go up 2 lines to the <tr> tag. At the beginning of this line type  to the end of the line after the </tr> tag.
Now search for the following: ondemandlabel
Go up 3 lines to the <tr> tag. Place  to the end of the line after the </tr> tag.
Save and close the file.
Start the World Wide Publishing Service in the CCM.
Per advisement from Tech Support, they do plan on publishing this as a Knowledge Base article sometime soon.

Two solutions:
The Easy One:
Create a Form (which will be the button) and add text to it or choose a picture from iphoto. Now give the form/picture a hyperlink to the same site. So now if you press the button, the site will refresh and start at the beginning/top
The advanced way:
1. Publish your site on the web (not just local). Copy the URL
2. Now create a Button like displained in the solution above. As Hyperlink you'll now have to set external site and paste the before copied link AND add the following at the end of the url: #widget0
3. Add a html widget to the top of the site.
4. The widget's content should be <a name="anchor"></a>
5. Publish your site again on the web and look wether it works.
This way won't work, if the created site is linked as an iframe.

Add a Print button to a Report Page

I'm trying to add a Print button to a report page to render the page in printer-friendly mode and then give the user the option to send to a printer. I started with just trying to add a print button. I added a button to the region and added to the button request value javascript:window.print();. When I click on the print button, nothing happens. So I tried to add some html code:

as a condition in Expression 1 when I selected "Current page is NOT in Printer Friendly mode". Nothing happens when I click on the print button. Can anyone offer some steps to create this functionality or point me to documentation on how to do this? I have tried the help documentation within APEX and isn't clear to me.

The documentation wasn't very clear to me. I did try one suggestion to create a region on the report page and call it Print. The suggestion is then to add the following code to the Source Region section:

The example however leaves out some significant information however. What is the region created as e.g. HTML, Report, Form, URL, etc?

Hi! I'm doing a cv template for my company so that Human Resourses can send to candidates. I made the form and I have a page for the "professional experience" area. This page is enough for a recent graduated student but not for a senior candidate (that has more experience). Can I insert a "ADD" button on this page where it creates a reset copy of the "professional experience" page where the candidate could add more professional experience? Thanks

Yes, by using JavaScript to create a new page by spawning a template page. The downside is that is will only work with Reader 11 (and Acrobat) and not previous versions of Reader. It also won't work if you need to Reader-enable the document so that pre-11 versions of Reader can save the filled-in form. If these limitations are not a problem and you need more help, post again.

Javascript code to enable an ADD button to create duplicate tables and pages for multiple entries

I am using Adobe XI Pro. I have created a multi-page fillable pdf questionnaire that I want to make interactive to the user. Within each page, I have multiple tables that can have ADD buttons to duplicate the table if the client wants more than one test. I would like this table to insert directly below the previous table and they may be able to add upto 5 of these table.
I also have a couple pages in the questionnaire that require duplication for multiple samples. Eg. One page per sample, and I may have upto 10 samples. I would like the javascript to have an ADD button and then add each page behind the previous related sheet (Original and duplicates together)
I am not a javascript coder so I would need some examples and a walk through. I did take some developer courses in engineering but it has been almost two decades
I have search on several forums and cannot find a good resource so I appreciate the help.

Some of what you want to do can be done using template features and a bit of JavaScript, but if your users will be using Reader, version 11 will be required. You can dynamically add new pages, but adding new tables to existing pages with reflow of content that comes after is not possible with a form created in Acrobat. If you have access to Adobe's LiveCycle Designer form creation software, you can create what's known as a dynamic XFA form that can do all of what you want. Let me know if it is possible to link the document library add button to homepage or any other page, if possible add a new icon to it, as part of customization.

As you are not displaying your new item form into a dialog you can remove the IsDlg=1 from your link and you can append a &Source="PageWhereYouWantToGoBackAfterUpload".

Cannot get dynamic form to add additional lines as needed.
Created simple dynamic form with "Add Item Button" designed to add an item line. Item line only has one text field. Used the "instanceManager.addInstance(1);" javascript line for the button.

It simply doesn't work. When I click the Button, it does not add an additional line.
There was some trouble with the initial installation of Acrobat 9 Pro Extended, requiring assistance from technical support. I don't know if I am having continuing installation/operations problems or if it is programmer error.
I have been told by Adobe Technical Support that they "don't"/"won't" support javascript issues, so I am left on my own to determine the issue. Any help would be appreciated.

I should also mention that I can call up the sample forms provided by the program and those samples work, but as I try to create a form from the beginning, it does not work.
