Should airport and Blutooth be on if I am not using these that I know of?
I have a DSL modem hard wired to my computer to use the internet and I am not using Blutooth that I know of. Should I turn them off? My mac came out of sleep and suddenly turned dark bluis black. I had no recourse but to turn off the power and turn the power back on. I got a notes that said "I turned off my power because there was a problem and a report would go to Apple.' IO quickly looked at the report and what I could make out was info referring to Airport andBlutooth. That is when I looked at both on saw that they were "opn" even though I don't use them.
apple wireless keyboard, mouse and trackpad all use bluetooth so if you use any of those don't turn it off

me.com accounts can be used for iCloud. See the FAQ section in:

but it may be too late if you have already created a new AppleID.
A few years ago Apple said they were working on allowing account merging, but it never happened (maybe objections from copyright holders). -

ok my ipod keyboard is not working sometime it type and i didn't press anything i calibrated it and nothing happen but now it does not type these letters(d,x,r) help please because my cousin will be so mad because he is letting me use it unntil he givs it to his other cousin. Make sure the screen is clean

Why do iPhones/iPad not support Flash Player/Java and what are my alternatives for browsing sites using these plug-ins?
There are also iSwifter, Photon, Skyfire, etc., some only support Flash some support Java and Flash.
Adobe never made a version of Flash for iOS and closed their mobile flash division a couple of years ago. You can get Flash on other personal devices but you will be using a 2 year old version that has not been patched for security vulnerabilities.
When the original iPhone was released Mr. Jobs said it would never run Java as it was old technology and a security risk. Nothing has changed since. -
my cursor jumps around when i'm typing. it randomly lands in a previous part of the text. i do not use a mouse. i am decinitely NOT accudentally hitting the trackpad. it happens enough that i am starting to hate my fairly new macbook pro. i tried turning off bluetooth but it still happens. the strangest part is i cant find other complaints of this happening, at least recently. anyone have ideas?

Duplicate entries after syncing. My phone went from about 125 contacts to 1,965. Some contacts are duplicated 30 times! Tried deleting the contacts and resyncing- same thing. I don't use Mobile me. My contacts are synced through my google account. I tried syncing through outlook and there were 0 contacts on my phone. Its a 3G so some of the functions like making groups are not available. Please HELP!!!
and i guess i should mention i bought it at best buy and they ported my phone #'s from my google phone and when i got home i sync'ed it with itunes and it doubled my contacts.

I am trying to figure out how to improve my battery life on my new Iphone 4S. It is so poor ! I had a blackberry for few years and just bought my new Iphone. So disappointed in this battery life!
Would appreciate any help I can get on improving battery life. I am not using my phone for games. Only use it for texts and emails and very little surfing. Do have few apps. Don't use Siri much as I am in Canada and she isn't much help here like it is in the States; which is also disappointing.
I took my phone off charger at 9am this morning and didn't use it much till about 1pm and it already was only 53%. Used it a little for chatting with someone; a few emails and had to plug my phone in around 330pm.....
Help me????? I have read some people and they are seem to be complaining about this issue big time. Sure hope Apple does something about this!
MrsgolfieI understand all of this Meg; that is why I bought an Iphone; but never expected my phone not even give a at least a 24 or even 12 hours....I work 12 hour shifts and also would expect to have to charge each night but not twice a day or more. I am not always somewhere I can charge my phone.

I can't get my purchased product to reinstall.
On what OS are you running the software? CS3 on Window 7 / 8 will not work or on OS X 10.9 or 10.8. Try to reinstall on XP or Os X 10.6 and you will have no issues....

I can only listen to old voicemails in Visual Voicemail since before the iOS upgrade. I am curious whose issue this is to resolve, T-Mobile made it sound like it is Apple's problem and Apple seems to think that it is T-Mobiles. Does anyone know who is working on this issue? Not having Visual voicemail *****, but not knowing you have new messages is just not cool when you depend on them for work! I need this fixed ASAP or I need to find a different carrier. Anyone else having this issue with a different carrier?
Try a Restart.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Resetting your settings
You can also try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. You won't lose any data, but it takes time to enter all of the settings again.
