Should apple support the itouch 1g

I've been told that Apple no longer supports iso 3.1.3, for starters is this true?
I've also been told that only Apps that are compatible with ios 3 can be offered on itunes, again is this true?
Further, I been told that Apple are progressively pushing the "minimum" ios on; therefore, the minimum will soon be ios 4, is this is true
If these statements are true, where does that leave people with an itouch 1g, which os is not able to be upgraded above ios 3.1.3 [at the moment, but I assume it won't be upgraded].
If I have an older PC that runs an older piece of software or has an older piece of hardware I would not expect the drivers to keep up do date with advances, so I would manage my expectations and install compatible software.
At the moment Apple is a closed environment, I am unable to find and install software (apps) that are compliable with my product.   Take facebook as an example, I once had the app on my itouch, but by mistake I updated it on my PC, my itouch then had to be reset to factory settings because it hung (not the first time), now I no longer have the facebook app and cannot download the version that worked with ios 3.1.3.   This applies to other apps including twitter, imdb, etc.
So, by Apples actions there are a group of people, who do not want to be wasteful or damage the environment by throwing away a piece of technology that still works well, that cannot maintain the use of their itouch.
Therefore, I would ask Apple to provide a search facility in itunes to limit the results to apps that are compatible with ios 3.1.3, and to allow developers to offer versions of apps that work with ios 3.1.3 along side the most current ios.

- Yes it is appears that developers are updating some apps to reflect iOS 5 and at the same time dropping support ofiOS 3 an eaier. I do not know if Apple s pushing dropping support.

since i upgraded to osx lion i keep getting an error code 0x80020022 every time i try and burn a dvd doesn't matter what type of program i use the some results error code.. 0x80020022 . does this mean a new drive is needed ?.. or bearing in mine it worked perfectly before lion was in stalled should apple fix the problem?

I just bought the iPad 3 and the camera connection kit. However, it doesn't support the SDXC format. I read a note about this from august 24, 2010, alomost 2 years in the past. And since then...

i had 64gb sdxc. CCK didn't recognized it.
so i run CMD in windows 7
DISKPART
LIST DISK
SELECT DISK 2(in my case)
CLEAN
CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY SIZE=32000 OFFSET=16384(dont know why, such offset was earlier)
LIST PARTITION
SELECT PARTITION 1(in my case)
FORMAT FS=FAT32 QUICK
EXIT
now i have 32 gb SDXC instead of 64g but it's compatible with my Camera Connection Kit.
if you have sdxc card 32g or less, i think this might help.

Why won't apple support the charging cable I bought?

I bought a cheaper charging cable online. It worked just fine before the ios7 upgrade. Now the software won't let the cable charge my phone because I didn't pay apple $30 for it. This is ridiculous and the opposite of why I was an apple fan before. Not to mention how overpriced the apple cable is. Not cool.

Apple has no obligation to support someone else's product. Why you would expect that is beyond understanding.

Should Apple add the a swipe option to the reminders app?

I have been using the reminder app and I think Apple should add a swipe option as the interface for removing items, next to the checkbox they are already using. To me it seems it feels good to actually really have the movement of 'crossing this off my list'.

HT4757 When will Apple iPhoto/Aperture support the new Leica V-Lux 4 camera RAW format ?

I just bought a Leica Vlux-4 and found that the current verisons of Aperture and iPhoto do not reconize the RAW files like they do for earlier versions and all of the Canon & Nikon DSLR's. I see from the support doc that Apple supports the Vlux-1 and 2, so when will RAW support be added for the Vlux-4 ?
I dont want to move to Lightroom but it already supports the Vlux-4 camera !

while this all may be true,
it is all speculation, and we are not supposed to speculate here; Apple does not publish the reasons for missing raw support, and for the Vlux-4 it is early days yet. There may very well be a raw update including your camera soon.The only difference I see, is that the the Vlux-1 & 2 did not come with Lightroom included, only with PSE, and the support stopped, when Lightroom was included - the direct competition to Aperture.

I've been locked out of my iTunes account and Apple support say they can't reset it!

Apple seems to have a problem in which some accounts become locked and cannot be unlocked. Don’t bother responding with comment s like which i pulled form this site while tracking down my login issues:

This is my issue. My account has worked without an issue since I created the account 1+ years ago. Then for some reason i was prompted and i could not sign into my account. I went to iForgot site
Requested Email Verification to unlock account – I request email verification but the email does not arrive. I know my account emsil account works. I receive email every day to the email account from friends, family and even Apple (download billing receipts, and other apple notifications). I created another "test" apple id and received an email without This option does not work either because the verification email is not sent (or never arrives)
Next I went down the challenge question path. I cannot get past the enter birthdate page as it is never considers my birth date as valid entry. And yes, i know my birthdate but it is no longer accepted as a valid input.
I had a chat session with Apple support and they are aware of this type of issue but there is no process in place to fix these accounts. According to Apple Support (the person i chatted with) there is concern about protecting users identity by giving other access to your account. I personally question this response because i had account issue with other companies that mange personal date (e.g. my Bank) and the issue was resolved. Apple cannot or will not fix this issue. Without resolution i can not get to content i have purchased but have not downloaded and i can not purchases or upgrade exiting apps.
Any ideas?

You and a number of others have been caught between Apple's shutting down identity repair system and whatever unspecified fix. How long are you stuck? Well, they have your money already, and you consumers tend to be okay with the abuse, so they aren't in any hurry.

Not possible to get software from Apple support

I am trying to fix my Shuffle, however i cannot get the driver from Apple support.
the website states "your software will be automatically downloaded" and then remains silent as a civil servant.
This is no way to start friday.

I had the same problem with IE. My solution was downloading Firefox and then it worked just fine.
(Firefox is better anyway. Grinners.)
