Should Apple TV run through a cable box then into the TV?

I totally hooked up ATV to my TV. Tried everything and it does not appear on the screen in any TV outputs. Should it be run through the cable box to the TV?

You gave me a suggestion, indirectly, when you mentioned the HDMI ports. I should have orginally checked the TV! My son said "what if the TV has those ports blocked?" So I went into the settings on the TV and found that 3 out of the 7 settings were blocked. I toggled those setting to unblock them and behold it works like a charm. Initially I was laying all the blame on the Apple TV. I never thought about the TV setting. I use cabeling for my HD since I already had the cables and never have used HDMI on the set. Sometimes using common sense prevails. Thanks for giving me the path... sometimes you can't see the forest for the trees. LOL

That is probably a lot of stuff you do not want on your iPhone. So this can be handled a few different was. For you current situation, you can delete the apps directly on your iPhone by holding on the app until it starts to jiggle and then tap on the X of all the apps that you do not want. The second thing you can do is before you sync with iTunes, look at the app section on your iPhone to know what gets transfer to it and you can deselect items that you do not want. Lastly, if you download content on your iPad and it is a universal app, you can actually download it directly to your iPhone by looking at your past purchases and download it directly from the App Store. To get TV on your iMac off the cable box you would need to use an external TV tuner device such as the company ElGato is highly regarded for. I have used one of their EyeTV products for many years with my iMac to watch television shows from my Comcasst cable TV box. You can look at the models here:

You must initiallly activate iCloud from an IOS device or a Mac. You cannot inititally activated from a PC.

If you have more than one user account, these instructions must be carried out as an administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.

Will not work. To my knowledge, dual converting like that isn't supported. The Mac must detect the connected video output device and that sort of info cannot be done across an analog component uni-directional connection.

If you mean transfer a slideshow from your computer then no. It is not storing it but rtaher streaming from the computer over your local network. The old model had an accessible hard-drive that would have allowed this.

I am having the same problem also! I posted on here about it, but no one has responded with ideas. I called technical support and e-mailed them, the only suggestions they gave was for the to turn off my firewall. But I didn't change anything, so it shouldn't suddenly stop working. Maybe this is just an iTunes issue? But it doesn't even recognize my account anymore, and I cannot log in now.

Powershell Syntax working when run in cmd, but when run through SCCM2007 Task Sequence it claims the syntax is incorrect?

The code below is a simple powershell statement which enables me to change the execution policy so that I can run powershell scripts. When I run this in a normal windows enviroment the statement will work fine, not giving me an issue whatsoever. However,
whenever it runs in the task sequence the TS fails. I am running this via the command line option in the task sequence, each time running this step as 3 different types of administrators.

I am new to both SCCM and Powershell, but from my point of view, this should work, considering that the syntax is not actually incorrect? Please could anyone with any idea drop some hints and tips on how to
stop this issue.

I'm not using 3 admin accounts at once if that's how it sounded. I have tried 3 different Admin accounts because I felt that perhaps the difference in permissions may have made a difference in whether I was able to run the syntax and scripts. So I tried
using my own personal administrator account, the SCCMNA account, and the local admin account, which I read worked.
At this point in the task sequence I have:
- Installed the OS
- Connected to the domain
- Installed Applications such as; Flash, Shockware, Reader etc.
Once it has installed the last application within a folder called "Helper Apps" (Which contains various Java and Adobe apps which install fine) it will then run a "Use Toolkit Package" using the MDT toolkit, once this stage is complete
it then progresses to the Script Exception section of the TS.

I obviously need this to work otherwise I am not allowed to run the script, but because this syntax is "incorrect" it stops the task sequence.

Easiest thing to do is put the app on the non updated computers in the trash and then copy the new app on to a flash drive and copy into the app folders on the other two computters.

That is almost always because the phone was hacked to unlock it from the original carrier.
