Should ESW&UCSS be bought for "installed" or for "used" licenses?

Hi all,
we have a new installation (not an upgrade) of CUCM 9.1. For example, we have 100 UCL Enchansed users and 100 CUWL Standard users. Last year we bought 100 ESW&UCSS for UCL Enchansed users and 100 ESW&UCSS for CUWL Standard users.
Now we would like to renew service contract, but the total amount of licenses in use has been reduced by a half. Now we use only 50 licenses of 100 available for both types of users.
Should we buy 100 ESW&UCSS for "installed"(available) licenses or 50 only for "used" licences?
Does the type of user matter?

You need to buy UCSS and ESW for specific users like CUWL standard/enhanced.In your case, u are using only 50 for each user type.

All purchases are always going to be associated to the ID that was used to purchase/download them.
If you create an ID for your daughter you will want to check everywhere it is used to make sure you are not sharing messages and stuff. These would be iTunes/app store, iCloud, iMessages, and FaceTime.
Go thru settings and find all mention of your ID.

Tap on the id in Settings > Store and log out of it and then log in with your id. But if there is any content on the iPad from his account then you are probably better off resetting back to factory defaults via Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content And Settings and starting 'as new' with it - content is tied to the id that bought/downloaded it so your account won't be able to download updates to any of his apps, and unless his account is authorised on your computer's iTunes and his content is on there then it will be deleted when you sync to it.

That's normal; you will not be asked for a serial number or other key at any point during the installation or setup. Apple doesn't include copy protection mechanisms in most of their consumer-level software the way Microsoft does.

This isn't an annoying pop-up. Rather, it is seriously telling you that it doesn't know that you have licensed the software, and it will continue to be a trial, and will stop when the 30 days are up.
So you must tell it that you have licensed the software.

If you need several copies of Acrobat (the license is per user), then you should talk to Adobe Sales about a volume purchase. I am not sure of the details, but probably the best way to go. In that case, I think all are on the same S/N and you pay according to the number of activations or such. Again, I am not sure and you need to talk to Adobe. Adobe is currently pushing the cloud and subscription versions and you might want to discuss the various options with them.

Just bought CreativeCloud, installed CC for Mac OS X Yosemite, won't start

The subject says it all. I just bought CreativeCloud, installed the OS X installer, and when I try to run "Adobe Creative Cloud", nothing shows up. I even tried to run it from the terminal, and there's no feedback at all. It just doesn't start. Any ideas?

Thank you Jeff, killing the process and then restarting it today seems to have been enough to fix the problem! Now the CC program is running and downloading software!
