Should Gapless work when I have Shuffle enabled?

Hi-
I've been messin' around with the new Gapless feature of iTunes 7 and can't seem to get it to work. After beatin' my head against the wall, I realized I had better make sure I understand correctly how it's supposed to work. I guess what I'm asking is if I mark an album as a Gapless Album and I have my iTunes library set to shuffle (lower left corner), will the album I marked as Gapless still play in order or will the shuffle switch override that?
By the way, I'm trying to get a couple of old Boston tunes to play together. They're "The Journey" & "It's Easy" off of the "Don't Look Back" album. When I have shuffle switched on, those two songs will NOT play in order. Am I doing something wrong or am I just misunderstanding this whole gapless thing.

I think I might be wanting the new Gapless feature to do something it's not designed to do.
I guess what I want to do is link or connect two songs that are designed to play in a certain order. So, I guess I need to find some utility to take both songs and "connect" them together so iTunes will see them as one song.
I tried a program called "Join Together" but I don't think it's compatible with the new iTunes as it would never recognize any songs from my Music Library (I tried a number of songs and made sure they were unprotected like the directions say).
Anyone know a quick and easy way to join two songs together?

My ipad 2s sound is not working when I have headphones in.

I've had the Ipad 2 for about two years now and my sound doesn't work when I have headphones in. I mean it works but I have to turn the sound up all the way and it sounds like it would be on the lowest sound mark. Is that confusing. I thought it was my headphones at first and it didn't really bother me because I didn't use headphones a lot. I had the same headphone for about a year which is why I thought they were the problem, but a couple of months ago I got some new, really good pair of headphones and they have the same problem. If I am watching youtube without my headphones and I turn it up all the way I can still hear it if I walk upstairs, but if I put headphones in and turn it up all the way I can barely hear the sound. I know it is not the headphones because they work perfectly in my phone. Is it something wrong with the headphone jack and can I get it fixed at apple.

now, I should show the data in a chart so that their should be colour variation. up to 45 degree should be one colour and the rest should be another colour.

In Pie chart, right-click the chart and click Series Properties.
Click Fill in left pane, click (fx) button and type the expression like below:

Outlook 2013 archiving doesn't work when cached mode is enabled

Hi All,
I have a problem in Outlook 2013 which I've been able to replicate on two separate PCs, operating against two separate Exchange servers. In both cases, archiving of old items does not work in Outlook 2013 when cached mode is enabled. It works
fine if cached mode is switched off so I don't believe the problem is related to the archiving settings.
Has anyone else come across this?

Based on my knowledge, Outlook auto archieve setting is stored in registry and only affects on local host.
If the AutoArchive doesn't work anymore, please refer to the follow article to troubleshoot the issue

If we are talking about Microsoft Exchange Online Archiving, I think it would run fine when you in Exchange online mode as your expected.

Bing Maps on IE 11 browser, The mouse click event is only working when we have compatibility mode on.

I have tried out the code in this article in ASP.Net web forms with c# and javascript.
I am using Ajax to call the C# from Javascript and load the data from database.
I have used following article to show the pushpins and there infoboxes.

My code works great on IE 11 , when I have compatibility mode on,
but when compatibility mode is off, the mouse click event is not being received by the Javascript function.
Is this expected behavior of bing maps, Are there any workarounds for this problem?

Hi Ricky, I have tried using Chrome and I see the same issue. The mouse events are not being captured.

Why does my volume control on my iPod touch only work when i have Earbuds or Headphones or a speaker connected to the headphone jack, and not also when there is nothing in the jack?

I can't adjust the volume of the iPod Touch when it has nothing plugged into the headphones jack, but i can adjust it when i have earbuds or headphones or a speaker ;plugged into the iPod Touch

Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Insert/remove the the headphone plug a dozen times or so.
Try the following to rule out a software problem.:
- Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since you likely have a hardware problem. Could be a bad headphone jack.

ITunes has stopped Working when using Ipod shuffle 3gen on Windows Vista HB

Itunes keeps shutting down when I insert my Ipod shuffle into the usb connection of my latop. I am using a Windows Vista Home Basic for an OS.
Not sure if this is a Vista, Apple issue, or something else...
I have contacted apple about this and uninstaled/reinstalled Itunes. Yet after all this, I get the same error message. The message reads:
"iTunes has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
As far as I know Vista should be compatible with iTunes and it is until I actually try to use my shuffle (newest model). Its weird because my shuffle works fine on a second computer that has Windows XP for an OS...
Does anyone have a solution to this??

i have the same issue... but i found a workaround.. i tried 3 diff OS's . didnt change the problem. To Add apps or music to ur Ipod... simply DISCONNECT the Ipod from the PC then add files/folders to library. Then connect the ipod back to PC and sync. it has no problem adding the files that way (at least in my case) I hope this helps... Good Luck =)

What causes an interaction to stop working when you have to re-publish it?

I have created a course using Adobe Presenter 9 and PowerPoint 2010. It has several interactions. Everything tests correctly. I then re-publish the file and open it, one of the interactions no longer works. I need know what should do to prevent this from happening.

3. What step did you tried before re-publishing?

My cordless mouse dosn't work when I have it plugged into a hub!?

Hi. I have a cordless mouse plugged into a usb-hub in which I also have plugged in a midi-keyboard. When I launch on of the applications, logic or protools, the mouse can't keep up. I simply have to unplug the midi-keyboard to use the mouse again! One of my freinds haves a similar setup as mine and seems to have no problems at all plugged either devices into the same usb-hub! Any ideas how that can be? I only have a mouse, a midi-key and a logic key plugged into the usb-hub and nothing else.

Okay - I get it.
Although it doesn't really solve the immediate problem, I'm wondering why you're not using the internal bluetooth in your computer to run your cordless mouse. If the mouse isn't bluetooth compatible, why not just get one that is? The new cordless mighty mouse should be available in stores shortly - I'm told - and that would solve all of your problems.

Audigy nx stops working when unplugged, have to restart pc?

;? I have an audigy 2 nx, I love it. I have used it with my old laptop, my current laptop, and my desktop pc. It broke once but was replaced under warranty.
Ever since I have had it, there has been one annoying problem that I have never been able to solve. When I unplug it (usb), it stops working, even if I plug it back in again. I use a laptop and often take it downstairs to watch a movie. After I bring it back up and plug the sound card into it again, it doesn't work (the card shows mute + power lights and is unresponsi've). In device manager it has a ! and says there was a problem.
I have the latest drivers / firmware and its happened on every pc I have used it on. It's not a huge issue on a desktop pc since you never unplug it, but on a laptop it is infuriating, because the only way to fix it is to reset my computer.
Is there any fix for this?

I have no problems with the card, if I turn it on after or before I boot up. It's only once I turn it off again or unplug it that I have to reboot to get it working again.
I have discovered that 50% of the time if I unplug the cable and plug it back in, it resumes working, as long as I remember to plug it into the same usb slot. It doesn't always work, but occasionally it saves me a reboot by playing nice.

Are you using a tarnished cable? Try ugettthing a new cable and see if tah helps.
