All of those cards go back 15years.my fico scores are TU757 EX678 EQ747 I have 2 inq's on EQ 4 inq's on TU and 7 inq's on EX my income is 110k I have been reading so much about AA on this site. Do you guys feel Barclays or Chase would flip if I apply for the Venure card. Im mean I have opened 7 new accounts. Since i got the cards I have already cancelled the priceline card and I am going to cancel regions card. I just dont see myself using them. I know with cap one its 3 HP's do you guys feel I would get approved? Do you feel its worth me doing the app and sitting back and letting my accounts age. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

This is my first post though I have been checking out the forum for some time now and using advice from it to start the journey to repairing my credit after years on neglect. I had two credit cards when I was 18 and messed up with one(Capital One). They took me to court for it a few year back and I have been working to pay it off. But once I messed up with them I decided that I would not be doing the credit card thing ever again.
Fast forward to last October. I am now 29 and I was talking to a friend about our credit. He started the journey to repair his a year earlier. He had a few more bad accounts than me but was seeing improvements in his score which made me feel like it wasn't a lost cause. So I decided this year I would work on repairing it.
I started with a Capital One Secured Card(which I was surprised they would even allow me to get since I burned that bridge before). In May I got a second secured card from Bank Of America; $99/$500 Cash Reward card. And in June I decided to try for the QS1 card. Figured it would be declined but was shocked to be approved for a $1000 SL. Capital One is WAY more forgiving than I thought.
I was thinking about trying for one more unsecured card before taking a break and growing the cards that will grow. And I was looking at the Discover It card. I have 2 bad accounts in collections which I am paying off and my lowest score is my EQ at 648. The others are within spitting distance of 700. Should I wait or go for it?

I would suggest closing the secured Cap One card now, and open a second unsecured Cap One card. With two scores close to 700, I would shoot for the QS card. If they shoot you down app for a Platinum card and upgrade it to QS later.

I was considering the American Express Blue Cash Everyday card but I don't want to get denied and have an unecessary hard pull. I work part time and I hear having a high salary is also important when applying for that card. Currently, my Equifax score is 768, Transunion 766, and I don't know my Experian (it's usually the highest out of the three). My AAoA is some where between 1 and 2 years (not exactly sure how to calculate it). I have no baddies on my profile but I do have balances on two out of three of my credit cards. I was interested in a card with low ongoing interest rate but if I app for the AMEX I would want the BCE. Any advice or suggestions? If any other info is needed, let me know. Thanks!

Even if you only take one vacation a year, the ED has a return avg of 4.8 percent at grocery stores (2.4 points per dollar at groceries x mr point value avg of 2 cents per point). You may have a ED targeted bonus of up to 25k points.... so yeah... not to mention 200 bucks in free airline gift cards on PRG. cancel after 51 weeks. (charge card must be paid in full every month)

HT4623 After requesting updates for several apps on my ipad 2, yesterday, the screen image of the app continues to say "waiting." Each app is stuck in waiting mode. help

Yesterday, I was updating several apps in the app updates section in the app store icon. I requested update for Facebook and two other apps. Now those apps are stuck or frozen. Under the icon on the screen it says, "waiting." On the store app page screen, it says, "instaling." I cannot get into either of those apps. What do I need to do to unfreeze my facebook and the other app? Thanks, gracefromok

If there are multiple apps trying to download at once, only one can download at a time and the rest say "Waiting" until it is then their turn. Try this. Double tap the icon of the Waiting app, and it should resume the download.

Another thing to try - Turn the iPad Off & then back ON.
If that doesn't work:
• Log out of your iTunes store account. Go to Settings > Store > Sign Out Then press the Home button.
• Then press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously and don't release them when it brings up the Turn Off screen; keep holding them until the Apple logo appears.
• After restart, the Waiting should be gone.

App for iPhone stuck on "waiting", App for iPhone stuck on "waiting"

I have an iPhone 4 running the latest iOS version 5.1. I have two separate issues:
1. Within the last couple of weeks, I get the notification from App store that updates are available. I select the App for the store, select "update all" and all that happens is "waiting" which goes on and on. I did the search of the forum and tried everything suggested except restore. The only way I can get the App to download to my phone is to connect to my iMac and go through the whole thing of downloading App update to computer and then synching to iPhone. I see others have had the problem as well. I have changed nothing on my phone which used to do this function just fine over my wireless network.
2. The second issue which I have posted elsewhere is that when I make an appointment on my iphone in my iCloud calendar, it doesn't sync to my calendar on my iMac or on my iPad. I can make appointments on my iPad and they sync fine to both the iPhone and my iMac. Any appointment made on my iMac calendar syncs fine to both iPhone and iPad. I have been trying to fix this issue for weeks and have had zero success. I have tried pretty much everything suggested elsewhere in these forums and it hasn't helped. I did have brief success going into System Preferences on my iMac, unchecking calendar and then rechecking after a few minutes; but that only lasted a few hours. Ready for the experts!

Sorry, mate. Just realized my last reply was the correct answer for a different question. Most likely, your problem is caused by a corrupted music file (or cover art). Suggest the following process:
1. With your iphone connected to itunes, highlight the phone in the devices section, then go to "summary" tab and check the box to manually manage music and videos. This will wipe the phone of all your songs, ringtones, videos, photos and everything else other than apps.
2. Add music back either 5 or 10 artists at a time, or 1 playlist at a time. Keep doing this until the sync buggers up again. Same process for all other iphone content.
Alternatively, you can restore your iphone to its original settings, so you know that it is fully wiped and not the cause of your problem, then add back content as per above.

Removing strange software can be a task. The following outlines various ways of uninstalling software:
Uninstalling Software: The Basics
Most OS X applications are completely self-contained "packages" that can be uninstalled by simply dragging the application to the Trash. Applications may create preference files that are stored in the /Home/Library/Preferences/ folder. Although they do nothing once you delete the associated application, they do take up some disk space. If you want you can look for them in the above location and delete them, too.
Some applications may install an uninstaller program that can be used to remove the application. In some cases the uninstaller may be part of the application's installer, and is invoked by clicking on a Customize button that will appear during the install process.

Some applications install a receipt in the /Library/Receipts/ folder. Usually with the same name as the program or the developer. The item generally has a ".pkg" extension. Be sure you also delete this item as some programs use it to determine if it's already installed.
There are many utilities that can uninstall applications. Note that you must have this software installed before you install software you may need to uninstall. Uninstallers won't work if you install them after the fact. Here is a selection:

Tap Settings > General > International. Make sure the Region Format is correct.
As for your Apple ID. Tap Settings > Store > Apple ID > iForgot
Resetting your Apple ID may help.

FaceTime can run in the version of OS X that you currently have. To get Messageyou need Mountain Lion. The protocol used by Messages is iMeassage.
The question is does your MBP meet the specs for Mountain Lion.

One of my favorite things about developing for iOS using Xcode is the Simulator. It runs any of the iOS devices simulated right on your Mac. If you don't have a hardware device to test your application on, the Xcode simulator will surely be your best friend.
So to answer your question less vaguely, yes. You can own the iPhone 5s and develop for the 6. There is no real release information of the iPhone 6 at the time anyways, so I would not let it play too large of a factor in your decision.

Because the System.Net.Http and System.Net.Http.Headers namespaces might not be available in future versions of Windows for use by Windows Store apps. It is stated in the official documentation on MSDN here:

Today I am here to warn you all for one of the many app's that scam you, this one is named "panorama backgrounds & parallax wallpapers & dynamic livepapers for ios 7, whatsapp, hangouts, viber"
Like the name and description promises it that you get many panorama, parallax, dynamic, whatsapp, hangout and viber backgrounds/wallpapers/livepapers. It only costed 1,79 (Euro) so I thought, why the heck not
When I launched the app, all I got was this:
About 30 backgrounds for whatsapp, easily found on google.
And also, it has fake reviews (at the bottom you can see the real ones of people saying the truth)
Any apps you know of other people should look out for?

Check iTunes and see if you have a pending or stalled download in there. If you do, finish that download or delete it if you can. If you can't finish or delete the download on the iPad, do it in iTunes on your computer and then sync the iPad. Then go back to the apps and see if they will download.
If that doesn't work or if that was not the problem, go to Settings>Store >Apple ID, tap your ID and sign out. Then reboot the iPad, Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Then go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and sign in again and see if the apps will update.

The iTunes Store needs the 3-digit security code from your credit card on the account. The iPad will display the account information so you can enter this information. Once you enter the information, purchase the app and it will download. Sounds like the Apple ID and payment information is not yours (your parents), so discuss this with the account holder.
