Should I buy another ipod or buy an Iphone?
My ipod screen got broken so i was wonder how much it was to fix it or was so much that i could just buy an iphone with that money?

IPod touch 4g weak battery should i replace it or buy another iPod. ?
My iPod touch 4g battery is getting weak. And the ipod is over two years old. Everything else works fine. the screen still looks good there's just one scratch. I can get the battery replaced (oem part). for $75 at a local shop. However, I'm worried something else might break due to age? Ram? I could probably sell this on eBay for $90-100 and buy the apple refurb for $180 plus tax. So it's either pay $75 for a battery or ....sell eBay and buy refurb for a net cost of about $100. The tricky part here is guessing what someone would pay for an iPod in great shape but weak battery. Most of the auctions I see selling for $100-$130. Are cracked or badly scratched screens with people saying the iPods work fine or good. I never see any auctions stating the battery is weak. What would you do? Thanks
You can buy a battery kit for under $10.00 and replace it yourself. It's not that hard. There are all kinds of videos on YouTube to walk you through it.

I have an ipod nono 8gb which is about 5 years old and is full - my husband is a jazz fan, and now I have jazz on my little ipod and my ipod touch. I am thinking of getting an ipod classic 160gb and putting all his jazz on to it. Is it possible for me to link it to my Itunes library and his Itunes library and just put all the jazz on to the new Ipod classic? if so, how do I then delete the jazz of the other two ipods?
There is no limit to the number of iPods you can sync to one computer, iTunes library, or account.
You might want to create a seperate iTunes library for him, perhaps on another user account on the system and move all of his Jazz music over to that new library. Once you have all of his music moved over to his own library, remove it from your own and then resync both of your iPods to clear his music off. This is just one way to do it.

If you consider that I'm almost certainly going to pay AT&T for 2 more years of contract whether I have an iPhone or not, that doesn't add to the cost of the iPhone to me.
I'm mainly interested in an inexpensive, highly functional WiFi device that I can use as a portable web browser and occasional video player. The touch was, until now, my choice, but $99 is very hard to argue with. -

It has nothing to do with where the iPod was purchased (except for FaceTime since some middle-eastern countries prohibit FT and it does not appear on those iPods). I depends upon what is available in the App store in the counry where you are located.

My ipod touch will not play music in my Bowers and Wilkins mini zeppelin nor my Logitech. Yet, it plays in my car. The music can be heard playing in the ipod itself. It is only 2 years old. Should I repair or just buy another? Thanks!
Did it start not working after updating the iPOs on the iPod? SOmetimes updating an iOS breaks compatibility.
You can try the standard fixes:
- Reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory defaults/new iPod. -
What happens of someone stole my ipod is there anyway to get another one besides buying a whole new one? Does anyone know? And why does it have to be connected to the internet for it to locate my apple devices? There should be a locating chip in it already. Better ideas here..

I have my iTunes library on an external HD because it is too big for my iMAC 500GB HD. However, it is not backed up, so I need a solution to backup my external HD. Can I do this with any Apple cloud product or should I look elsewhere for cloud products? Will it be cheaper/easier just to buy another external HD to back up my existing external HD? Thanks

point iTunes media folder location back to the external via preferences > advanced
consolidate my library via file > library > organize library
The ntfs hasn't seem to be causing any problems, but I've always wanted to know.
in order for your Mac to write to NTFS drives, it needs some help by installing e.g. the NTFS 3G driver. apparently that or something similar is installed on your Mac already. preferably, it would be formatted for Mac but then windows machines would need to have e.g. MacDrive installed to recognize the drive. -

Just try putting an old sim in there if you have one or borrow a sim card from someone.

Okay so my ipod 5th generation, isnt turning on at all. It isnt charging either, its not responding at all. Now I cant restart it because my home button is broken. So what do i do?
