Should I even update?
I am reading about all the insanity going on right now with updating to 2.0 and wondering if anything has been fixed yet? I am very anxious to get 2.0 but dont want my iphone in emergency mode..
Do not under any circumstance up date if you will need your phone for critical things, like oh I don't know, YOUR JOB! Wait at least a couple of weeks. I guarantee this "Accessing iTunes Store" is just the tip of the iceberg the 2.0 software will be full of bugs based now on its current performance. I now have a psuedo-bricked iPhone that only makes 911 calls. I guess Apple doesn't believe it's own hype when it stated everybody will now want an iPhone. If they did they would have predicted the huge influx of activation and download requests. What morons.

Hi apple, I have currently got a visa $50 gift card. I put it on my iTunes account I have currently ran out of funds on the card. Now even when I try to download free apps or even update, it says it requires a new credit card. Is there a way around this
We are fellow users here on these user-to-user forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple.
If you have a credit card on your account then it needs to be valid. Have you tried removing it from yoru account ? On your iPad try tapping on your id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Store on iOS 6+) and selecting 'View Apple ID' on the popup - that should give you a payments link on your account's page. -
Can't download apps and I can't even update my pho...

To download you need to log-in using the SAME credentials that you use on this Forum..With this you should be able to transfer any Maps stored in Phone memory onto the Memory Card and also clear some Temporary files.. This may free up the much needed space.

Should I bother updating firmware?
Hi, I just picked up a G5 Dual 1.8 PPC, Boot ROM is 5.1.5f0. I noticed that there is a new update 5.1.5.f8. Although it say it's only for uniprocessors, I've read that others who have dual processors, have been able to update. Should I bother updating? Do I really need to? I haven't notice any issues with the G5 so far. But then again, I don't really know what I should be looking for, if anything. The only thing I've noticed is that on start-up I hear the fan do a quick little rev, then the system is quiet. I only made note of that because the G5 I have at work doesn't make a sound, even on startup. But then again, it's a newer dual 2.7.
I've also read that you don't have to remove 3rd party ram prior to updating. Is this true?

I take it this way, when a vendor offers a firmware revision, it simply makes sense to install it. There are always improvements. I have never had the whine issue and for the most part I'm very happy with my MBP. The call I made to Tech Support was due to the lack of "insistance" on Apple's part on whether or not someone should install this. Also, because the rumor mill was suggesting you NOT install it unless you were doing Boot Camp, which I just did not believe to be the case (again, because a next revision will also include this code). Now, with Apple not saying anything "official" about some of the whine issues et al, it only makes sense to me (and my engineers here) that they would put out incremental updates, because they have had some success in fixing things in the lab, so to speak, and want to see the general users reaction ("Hey, my sound works now!" - that kind of thing.) I have no doubt that Apple has many people scanning these forums all day, simply because they have to. This is a good way to find things. That certainly will not get an official reaction though, and those waiting for that, will just have to wait. Until the whine, for example, is universal (and I don't mean software wise!) - there will be no statement. So, the best "statement" that Apple is making, is by releasing updates.

If you have forgotten your Restrictions code, then follow the instructions
below but DO NOT restore any previous backup. If you do then you will
simply be restoring the old Restrictions code you have forgotten. This
same warning applies if you need to restore a clean system.
A Complete Guide to Restore or Recover Your iDevice (if You Forget Your Passcode)
If you need to restore your device or ff you cannot remember the passcode, then you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and re-sync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present. My ipad1 won't let me download books,apps or even update apps, it says delete pictures & videos to make room for downloads but I do not have on my iPad pictures or video & I barley have any extra apps!!
The operating system takes up about 2GB, so that's why your 16 GB iPad has 14 GB capacity. And if you only have 687mbs left, it means you don't have much space left to add to your iPad. Do you have lot's of videos/Books/Music/Apps/Pictures on your iPad. If you do and you want to add more, you're going to have to delete things before you can add more.

I tried to download some Apps from the English shop but am apparently not allowed to do that. I am prompted to switch back to the Spanish shop.
Unfortunately I do not remember how to do that. I cannot even update my existing Apps. I cannot find anything in Settings to get back to the
Spanish store. help!!!

How Inspection lot should automatically be updated with the correct inspection plan and sample size upon GR ? is there any exit avialable?
As per my requirement the revision level should not be taken into account when selecting the
inspection plan. The start date of the inspection should basically be
used as a key date(i:e; current date) .how to implement this logic ?
i have found one exit for this QPAP0002.can anyone explain detail how to implement logic to my requirement?

check teh material master QM view there shoul be inspection with task list and automatic assignment shoul be there
1.create inspection plan(QP01) with mIC (QS21) assign for opeartion.
2.mantion usage in plan header as 5 goods recipt.
then when ever you get inspection lot for the materil the lot will release,
3.now your lot is in CRTD status do goto QA32 slect the lot click on change inspection lot or goto QA02.
clcik on tasklist specifications and clcik on button task/specification and move to clcik on sample tab then clcik on sample and save teh lot the staus will change from CRTD to REL.
if the plan plan is created after generating date of lot then you face problem of key date.
ok still if you are not getting then use your exit. there should be logic of picking the key date and pass it into start date get these datails fromQALS table

we have request_date and schdule_ship_date and they are some default rules are defined
as sysdate for both the dates and thses should be effected once you save the form.
our requirement is schdule_ship_date should not be updatable when we change a request_date
for the already existing sales order(SO).
This can be achieved through form personalization.

looking from the many users complaining, I am a bit scared whether should i proceed update to ios 8.0.2 to my ipad 2 or not? Does any one know news whether issues will be really fixed or should i stay on version 7 only? I have just downloaded and installed this version of IOS on my Ipad Air and it is DEAD.
It won't start up.
When I connect my Ipad to my MacbookPro, Itunes tells me the following:
"iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes."
What now? restore? try to remove 8.0.2?

As of yesterday no animation or videos will play from Firefox, but other browsers still work fine. I have checked plugins and even updated to the Firefox 14 beta today, but this did not fix the problem.
this problem started yesterday; before then there was no problem.
I have updated everything I can find, and ran a system restore and disc clean.
The problem still persists. What am I missing here?This happened to me too. This problem started suddenly with no changes made on my part. I had 11.2 Flash version with Firefox 13. I tried updating to the new Firefox, same problem, then updated to Flash 11.3. I even uninstalled RealPlayer.
I read a solution on another forum and it was as easy as clearing my cache. Everything works fine now (even after reinstalling RealPlayer and allowing the download button function).
