Should I go with vSheild

I was wondering what everyones thoughts were on vShield whether this is on its way out? Replaced by NSX?

It is very difficult to get NSX at the moment, that will hopefully be changing. In order to get vCNS you must have vCloud Suite, if you do then vCNS will be available throughout the vSphere 6 lifetime. vCNS was EOL'd recently but will work with vSphere 6. Now, vShield Endpoint was migrated into the hypervisor and should still work through vSphere 6. Network based AV will be supported in NSX, but not necessarily offloaded disk AV which still requires vShield Endpoint.
If you are at 5.x of ESXi with no major plans to go to vSphere 6.0 anytime soon then use vShield Endpoint. It is a way to get started then determine the upgrade path post 6.0.

If it is the s5 which it sounds like it could be then the Local Verizon store at there Discretion will determined if replacement is needed you have a 1 year Manufactures Warranty that covers for things like what your Describing I would take it too your local store see if they'll get you a Replacement or you may have to go through Samsung..

Sales Return: credit memo Should generate automatically with goods reversal

DEAR SD GURUS N EXPERTS,
Currently we are using following system of Sales return.
VA01: (Order Type: RE) --> VL01N (Return Delivery) --> VL09 (Goods Reversal) --> VA01 (Request 4 Credit Memo or remove billing bloc) --> VF01 (Credit Memo)
But, now my client want a such configuration that entry of Credit memo should happen along with Goods Reversal (VL09) - Automatically. They don't want to carry out VF01 separately.
Reason behind it: Customers has credit Limit, Suppose a customer has a Credit limit of 5,00,000 and we have delivered the Material of same amount. It means all the credit limit has been used. But now He has returned the material of 2,00,000. But it will not affect the credit limit until we pass Credit memo.
Please suggest the required configuration and what we can do in such scenario. Thanks in Advance.

Again I can tell you that the process what you were following (reversing the goods receipt) is totally wrong and it will have a serious negative impact on inventory. Either you should not create a return delivery or take the stocks into parent plant. If you dont want to show in inventory, then scrap it which is a standard process.
Coming to the requirement, there is no standard way to achieve this. Check these threads where the same topic was discussed

I was finally able to successfully installed FP on my Mac OS 10.5.8 using the last trick shown below by Chris (Adobe Flash Player.pkg file). This, only after several (at least 10) attempts, and only after restarting my computer after downloading the install file. Thanks for the helpful post.

I need to use an XA JDBC driver for Oracle 8i 8.1.6. I am using the driver in
a ConnectionPool in a TxDataSource for use by some entity beans using EJB 2.0.
I'm running WebLogic Server 6.0 sp2, EJB 2.0, Java 2 SDK 1.3.1 Server VM, Solaris
2.7, and Oracle 8i 8.1.6.
I know of three different Oracle XA drivers: WebLogic jDriver for Oracle XA, Oracle
OCI type 2 driver XA, and Oracle Thin tyoe 2 XA. Are there any other drivers
that I can use for Oracle 8.1.6? Which driver and which version should I use?
For example, can I use the Oracle 8.1.7 JDBC drivers with the Oracle 8.1.6 server,
or would the Oracle 9i drivers work with the Oracle 8i server? Which drivers

Hi,
I think you can't use the 8.1.6 thin driver for XA, you would have to
use the OCI driver or 2PC-enable your datasource. AFAIK this has been
changed for 8.1.7

Thanks for your prompt reply. However, the sources you gave do not seem to apply exactly to my situation. I have attached some screenshots that show what the dialogue box looks like for a pdf download, and what my settings in the Apps panel of Options are. You will note in the first screenshot that I have checked the box to handle this file type automatically; however, the next time I try to download a file of that type, the same dialogue box appears looking exactly like the one shown, so checking the "automatic" option appears to do nothing. The files to be downloaded from my Gmail messages are not generic or altered file types - they are shown as pdf, doc, docx, etc. So while your intent was good, your post did not help. Thanks anyway.

I need to put a condition in iF statement such that a name that is given by the user should not start with any special charecters.A dialog box should display indicating this conditon.Can u plz give sample code for this.My code is as below.

Its a standard task, not the custom one. and Payslip is not pdf based one, its smartform.
For some employees its working fine. for only few its not working. they have Adobe installed in their pc. even though its not working. is it problem with user level authorization?

How should I deal with it in the BMM Layer

I need a suggestion in a problem.
Here is the scenario,
In the physical layer, There are some fact to fact joins.
ProductFact ----< PolicyFact ----< PolicyCoverFact ----< ClaimFact ----< ClaimPaymentFact ----< CorrespondenceFact
There are some conformed dimension tables given below
Geography is joined to ProductFact, ClaimFact
Organisation is joined to PolicyCoverFact, CorrespondenceFact
Currency is joined to PolicyFact, ClaimPaymentFact
Also there are non-conformed dimensions such as,
ProductType is joined to ProductFact
PolicyCoverType is joined to PolicyCoverFact
and there are many more......What I know is when there are fact to fact joins, we should make a logical table in the BMM layer and add both fact tables to the same LTS, But in this case, almost all the fact tables are joined directly.
How should I deal with these fact to fact joins in the BMM layer? Any suggestions?

For example, if the "product dimension" is only linked to "product fact", but not "policy fact" then you won't be able to do a report based on "product dimension" and "policy fact". Right ? To be able to do this report, OBIEE must do a join with "product fact" (this fact table become an intersection table). That's why you will add product fact in the "policy fact" source. Same for others source.
But the name of "ProductFact & PolicyFact" source can be "policy fact". Because each row of this source is a policy fact.
For the 3rd table, each row is a "policy cover fact". But to be able to join with "product dimension" and "policy dimension", you need to integrate "policy fact" and "product fact" tables in the logical source.

As the name suggests Web Dynpro for ABAP uses exactly the same meta model as its cousin Web Dynpro for Java. A Web Dynpro component, a Web Dynpro view, a Web Dynpro model, a Web Dynpro controller have the same semantics both for ABAP and Java. The main difference is the designtime environment, the development infrastructure and the runtime environment.
The designtime environment is properly embedded in the ABAP Workbench where Web Dynpro artifacts are simply a new category like BSP applications or classical dynpro based applications before. Also no surprises regarding the development infrastructure. The correction and transport system keeps track on all changes that are done, versions them and helps to propagate the Web Dynpro application from development to production like you would do with ordinary BSP or dynpro-based applications.
