Should i have received an operating DVD with my new mac?
My mac is a few years old, drive's getting full so I thought its time for a wipe and re-install, or more likely a larger drive. The problem is I never received an OSX installation disk when I bought it direct from apple. Should I have done? I dont want to have to buy a new disk.

I purchased my iPad and the apple care insurance from apples website, I received my iPad but didn't receive my apple care papers, should I have received any paperwork for that?
When purchased together, AppleCare is automatically activated and applied to your device, so no proof or registration is usually required. Apple usually sends documentation of coverage after a few days, though. If you didn't receive the documentation, it may have been lost in the mail. You can confirm coverage here:

If that doesn't show the correct coverage (the expiration should be two years from your date of purchase) and it's been at least a couple of weeks since you purchased, call Apple support, ask to speak with someone in AppleCare Plan Administration, and explain the mistake to them.

I have a Vista operating system with 2 users. Somehow I got two diffent libraries for the users. How can I delete the one and then access the correct library on the other users profile?
Use the trackpad to scroll, thats what it was designed for. The scroll bars automatically disappear when not being used and will appear if you scroll up or down using the trackpad.
This is a user-to-user forum and most people will post on here if they have problems. You very rarely get people posting to say there update went smooth. The fact is the vast majority of Mountain Lion users will not be experiencing any major problems with the OS, or maybe with apps which are not compatible, but thats hardly Apple's fault if developers don't update their apps. -
Hi, My IMac Superdrive has gone bust and i need to re-install Adobe CS5.5 design premium middle east version. I have the original version DVD with me. But i am unable to install. Can i create an USB installation drive from the DVD or can you please send me a link to download the Middle east version of Adobe CS 5.5 design premium. I have a very similar problem in that I changed my appleID loginid and now none of my home shares work (5506) . All itunes have been re-authorized/authenticated with the new appleID string. Yet I still receive this error. I too am looking for suggestions.

Hi, I have just purchased a Macbook, but my iphone is currently synched to my old pc. How can I now synch it with my new mac without losing all the apps/music etc on my phone? Ta
The easiest way is to copy the iTunes folder from your old PC to your MB (put it in the Music folder as a subfolder), along with the other valuable data on the old PC. Or restore it from a backup of your old PC. Then authorize iTunes on the MB to the same account you had on the PC. When you sync it will warn you that your content will be deleted, but it will be replaced with the same content from the MB. Before syncing you should also make sure there is at least one entry in iCal and Address book on the MB (assuming you sync to Outlook or equivalent on the PC) to assure that your contacts and calendar entries will move over correctly.
Al alternative that is less effective is to connect the iPhone to the MB without syncing, and choose "Transfer Purchases" from the iTunes File menu. This willl copy purchases music, videos and apps, but not ripped tracks from the iPhone to the MB. -

Fix failing security tests on BlazeDS/trunk by using a remote object to invalidate the FlexSession at the end of each test method which should cause each test method to run with a new/clean session. It looks like some test methods were leaving some things in a bad state which was causing the next test that ran to fail. These may be legitimate bugs/issues so we should investigate further to see what sequence of events gets things into a bad state but for these tests we want all of the test methods to run in isolation.

That, however, is in theory. I've posted, and immediately seen something that needed editing, only to find NO Replies, yet the Edit button is no longer available, only seconds later. Still, in that same thread, I'd have the Edit button from older posts, to which there had also been no Replies even after several days/weeks. Found one that had to be over a month old, and Edit was still there.
Do not know the why/how of this behavior. At first, I thought that maybe there WAS a Reply, that "ate" my Edit button, but had not Refreshed on my screen. Refresh still showed no Replies, just no Edit either. In those cases, I just Reply and mention the [Edit].
Also, it seems that the buttons get very scrambled at times, and Refresh does not always clear that up. I end up clicking where I "think" the right button should be and hope for the best. Seems that when the buttons do bunch up they can appear at random around the page, often three atop one another, and maybe one way the heck out in left-field.
While I'm on a role, it would be nice to be able to switch between Flattened and Threaded Views on the fly. Each has a use, and having to go to Options and then come back down to the thread is a very slow process. Jive is probably incapable of this, but I can dream.
