Should i meet with a genius?

there is nothing really wrong with my phone but i find myself constantly rebooting my phone. it only last about 2 days before safari starts to crash, apps, contacts and sms start to lag. GPS seems to only last a couple days before giving me crosshairs. i was just wondering if its normal to restart or reboot your iphone every couple days or should i make an appoinment with a genius (something i really really dont want to do). thanks for the help

Here is what I tell users that report crashes and lag...pretty much what the other person said.
Think of it this way, the iPhone is more of a computer than a phone. It suffers from being a new OS and nobody can deny there are not bugs and memory leaks. The longer left running, the more things start to fail or slow down (I have had the iPhone since day one of original phone and I am just speaking from my experience). Thus I equate it to like when Windows95 came out...not sure of your age or if you remember those days...but back then it was a running joke of how many days you can keep Windows 95 running before you had to reboot. I am sorry to say but the iPhone is the same way right now (but getting better with a few hiccups back during the 2.0 release). So for me, I reboot daily when I leave in the morning and take it off the charger. By doing so I rarely see any lag or problems.

So, what's up with this Genius?

It seems it's working for some ... but not for me. I even synced ALL songs from iTunes to my phone again, but still no luck, always the same message: "... doesn't have enough related songs ..."

From my brief play with the genius feature in iTunes, it seems it makes selections based on correlations based on data from different iTunes libraries. The iTunes store develops a "feel" for what people like by comparing the artists in the libraries it gathers data from. If it finds that, say, 96% of libraries with tracks by artist A also have tracks from artist B, it will suggest tracks from B in a genius playlist you seed with a track from A.
That works well on your iTunes library if you've got a lot of of songs. If you're only syncing a few GB of music to your iPhone from your total iTunes library, it has less artists to choose from, and also fewer tracks to choose from. I suspect that Genius on the iPhone requires a minimum number of matching artists and tracks before it will start to generate a playlist.
If you've got a lot of popular artists/tracks on your phone there should be enough material there for it to work with. If you're like me with only 77 songs taking up 2.5 GB in lossless compression and most of that from artists who aren't from the popular side of things, Genius simply doesn't get enough material to match against its database and recommend a list so I get the same message, or even the one that says it can't do anything at all with the artist whose track I selected as a starting point.
Things may improve when iTunes as more data from more people using Genius but the less popular the artists in your library are and/or the fewer songs you have on your phone, the less likely Genius will be to work for you. That's the problem with a system that basically relies on a sampling strategy: it needs a good sample if it's going to work. In this case a good sample is a collection of songs that is above a certain size and contains a popular selection of artists. I have no idea how many songs are required or what constitutes a suitable selection of artists but your chances for getting Genius to work will certainly increase as the size of your library increases and also the closer your artist selection is to the list of most popular artists in iTunes Genius info database.
Genius may be a reasonable idea but it definitely has some minimum requirements which you have to meet before it will do its stuff.

I have two scenarios to be configured for my client.
1. Sales manager should be able to set up a meeting with his sales team in CRM. can any one give me a idea how we can configure it in SAP CRM & what is the transaction type (Business activity) to be used to setup meeting with employees.
2. How to create an activity or task in employees calendar. where we configure calendar in SAP CRM, do we need to assign this calendar any where in order to create create activity for employees calendar.
Please do let me know how to achieve the above scenarios.
I got one more issue is that, I have created two transaction types (business activity types) 1 for transaction type for meeting with employee with category "meeting" in business activity and 2nd transaction type is for sending email to employees with category "email" in business activity. I have also assigned these transaction types to categories under sentings for activities ->assign transaction types to categories in SPRO. But I am not finding these two transaction types on UI under activities. If use different category for these transaction types like appointment then these are available on UI for activities. Please suggest me how to fix this issue too.

1. It depends how you want to configure this and your detailed requirements. One way would be to create an activity of type Appointment and from this, create a CRM E-mail activity that sends an e-mail to all the Attendees in order to setup the meeting.
2. Synchronizing Activities/Tasks is done with the Groupware Integration. I'm sure you can find some documents in SDN for it, but for now you can take a look at the IMG node (Customer Relationship Management->CRM Middleware and Related Components->Groupware Integration) and the help.sap.com (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm70/helpdata/EN/47/09e1c4cc8d4861e10000000a155369/frameset.htm) page.
The "New" button in the standard Activities Search will load everything under the "screen kind" ALLS, which means all Activities with Activity Class Appointment, Task, E-mail and Sales Call. You can see this in the method CL_CRM_UIU_BT_ACT_CUST_GET=>GET_ACT_CLASS_FOR_SCREEN_KIND. It is pure UI logic that you can influence if you make modifications or enhance the Appointment UI (for example the component BT126S_APPT, by changing the screen kind passed). You'd need to debug a little bit to understand the logic, however.

How to work with iTunes Genius?

I am a new user of the Genius feature. I was using Pandora and other Internet radios before. But, this Genius feature excited me, so, I switched, should say.
But, there are some serious problems with iTunes Genius that I do not get it. For instance, the songs are not well arranged by iTunes. Although they call it "Genius", sometimes songs show up in a playlist that does not make sense. For instance, a new song shows up in a playlist auto-generated by Genius called "Classic Rock Mix". Is there anyway possible to manipulate the Genius results? Or, can we remove any song from the Genius list, which we think is not relevant to the playlist type?

It sounds like you are mixing up several different things (or not using the terminology that Apple uses).
One thing is backup. You can backup via icloud or via iTunes and there is no reason you cannot do both -- I do and the second link below from Apple gives instructions. Doing a backup will include photos from the Camera Roll in the backup but you will not be able to see the results -- all of the backup data will be stored on iCloud or on your computer in files that are not designed to be accessed by you for any purpose other than restoring to your phone in the event of a problem. If you simply want to transfer photos from an iPhone to a computer, the terminology Apple uses for that is "import" and it is done without iTunes. New photos (taken after you change the setting) can be done via PhotoStream which is a cloud based option. The other option is via cable. Instructions for both: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4083

My iPhone is now synched with a genius bar macbook!

Hi all,
I have an iPhone 4s 32Gb which until recently was synched with iTunes on my Macbook Pro, however I had an appointment at a Genius Bar due to no 3G after switching to EE, the guy very quickly sorted the issue out, due to an Onovo Profile, but since then it says it is synced with a Genius Bar iTunes!
What are my options please guys? I am on iOS 7 and was really going to upgrade to iOS8 due to screen size, battery performance etc.

This is either a Phone issue or an Electrical issue in your home.! when charging Do you always use the same electrical outlet? or did you try others..
You will know or should know if there are any issues with your other Electronics.. that you Plug into it..
If it is the s5 which it sounds like it could be then the Local Verizon store at there Discretion will determined if replacement is needed you have a 1 year Manufactures Warranty that covers for things like what your Describing I would take it too your local store see if they'll get you a Replacement or you may have to go through Samsung..

Sales Return: credit memo Should generate automatically with goods reversal

Currently we are using following system of Sales return.
VA01: (Order Type: RE) --> VL01N (Return Delivery) --> VL09 (Goods Reversal) --> VA01 (Request 4 Credit Memo or remove billing bloc) --> VF01 (Credit Memo)
But, now my client want a such configuration that entry of Credit memo should happen along with Goods Reversal (VL09) - Automatically. They don't want to carry out VF01 separately.
Reason behind it: Customers has credit Limit, Suppose a customer has a Credit limit of 5,00,000 and we have delivered the Material of same amount. It means all the credit limit has been used. But now He has returned the material of 2,00,000. But it will not affect the credit limit until we pass Credit memo.
Please suggest the required configuration and what we can do in such scenario. Thanks in Advance.

Again I can tell you that the process what you were following (reversing the goods receipt) is totally wrong and it will have a serious negative impact on inventory. Either you should not create a return delivery or take the stocks into parent plant. If you dont want to show in inventory, then scrap it which is a standard process.

2.7, and Oracle 8i 8.1.6.
I know of three different Oracle XA drivers: WebLogic jDriver for Oracle XA, Oracle
OCI type 2 driver XA, and Oracle Thin tyoe 2 XA. Are there any other drivers
that I can use for Oracle 8.1.6? Which driver and which version should I use?
For example, can I use the Oracle 8.1.7 JDBC drivers with the Oracle 8.1.6 server,
or would the Oracle 9i drivers work with the Oracle 8i server? Which drivers
are faster, and which support more features? I assume that I should not use the
type 4 driver since I am not using an applet, but I don't know if there are bugs
in the OCI C library for Solaris or in the JDBC drivers that use it that prevent

Hi,
I think you can't use the 8.1.6 thin driver for XA, you would have to
use the OCI driver or 2PC-enable your datasource. AFAIK this has been
changed for 8.1.7

Thanks for your prompt reply. However, the sources you gave do not seem to apply exactly to my situation. I have attached some screenshots that show what the dialogue box looks like for a pdf download, and what my settings in the Apps panel of Options are. You will note in the first screenshot that I have checked the box to handle this file type automatically; however, the next time I try to download a file of that type, the same dialogue box appears looking exactly like the one shown, so checking the "automatic" option appears to do nothing. The files to be downloaded from my Gmail messages are not generic or altered file types - they are shown as pdf, doc, docx, etc. So while your intent was good, your post did not help. Thanks anyway.
