Should I purchase iphone if I don't live in 3G area?
I live in a rural area in Alabama. Because of AT&T, 3G is not accessible. Also, voice quality is moderate. Would an iphone work in this area? If so, would I be able to use it for most things, apps. etc. What in the world is 3G? Please advice, I really want the iphone.
You'll be able to use an iPhone just fine with or without 3G. In fact, the battery life is better if you turn it off. 3G gives you high-speed internet access. If you're in an area without 3G, iPhone will simply fall back onto EDGE, which provides the same thing, but at a slower speed. You will still be able to use the phone fully, and all applications will function normally, save for longer loading delays in those that use the internet.
Be sure to check AT&T's coverage map for a detailed view of coverage in your area. I suggest you find certain places of interest on the map that you frequent, such as your home and workplace.
One thing worth noting, however, is that whether or not you live in a 3G-covered area, or wish to have 3G access in the first place, $10/month will still be added to your data plan for 3G access. It's a required part of the plan for every iPhone.
If you'd like more expert advice, call 1 800 MY APPLE. Ask them about any concerns you may have. From my experience, Apple will tell you flat out if their product is right for you. They won't just lie to get you to buy or anything like that.

I specifically want a phone to receive emails (maybe 4 per day) and access websites to enter data (say 4 times per day). If you are talking about that low a number of emails the speed is not going to matter so the BB will not give you any added benefit. To be compared to the BB you need a push email account on the iPhone which you can get by signing on to MobileMe, use a yahoo push mail account (free) or an exchange account.
As far as data entry, I would go with the iPhone due to the larger screen than some BBs, touch screen, etc. Safari has been pretty stable for me and I have done some data entry with it. -
I already purchased Garageband on my iPhone. I don't yet have GB on my MBP. Must I purchase GB yet a second time in order to use it on my MBP? OSX 10.7.5.
You should have gotten it with your computer. If it shipped with 10.6.8 or earlier, perform a custom installation of it from the computer's original disks. If it shipped with 10.7 or newer, you can get it from the Mac App Store for free.
In other cases, iOS and Mac OS X applications are separate products and purchases.

How do you delete songs that you purchased through iTunes but don't show up when you connect the iphone to iTunes? They don't show up in the music section when you click on "On this phone". Side Note: I have my phone setup to manually manage music. Please help.

If you want to delete a song from your iOS device on iOS 7, tap Songs, swipe the song from right to left, then tap Delete. The song is deleted from iPhone, but not from your iTunes library on your Mac or PC, or from iCloud.

I have purchased iPhone 3g device from my friend, I connected it to the iTunes to upgrade from 3.1 to 6.0 as many softwares were not being installed as iOS was not up to date. I upgraded but now I can not activate my device. What I should do now??? i am really feeling difficulty because i have been disconnected from the network.

Activation issues are generally the result of the device being hacked or jailbroken. -

Put the Indian sim card in the phone and start using it, that is always assuming that you have not first activated the phone using the T-Mobile sim card, in which case the Indian sim card will not work as the phone will become locked to T-Mobile and you'll have to get it unlocked by them.
If not, put the Indian sim card in the phone to activate it and then start using it. -

Hey apple I m experiencing vry poor battery life on my newly purchased iPhone 4 S. I was vry happy initially with my purchase but
now I m regretting it. Plz fix it soon. I m not upgrading 2 iOS 5.0.1 as it may further affect my battery life. The battery is draining at a phenomenal rate. Within HDTV 5 minutes if use it was down to 95% 4m 100% :( plz release the new version or I vil b in a great trouble.Apple is not here.

If you are so unhappy take it back to Apple and either ask for your money back or for them to repair it. There is no other way.

You can cancel an iCloud storage upgrade but only within 15 days of buying:

Explain the situation in the box provided and wait for a response - include a phone number. In that event you will need to phone them directly, using the Apple Online Store number given at the bottom of this page. The first person you speak to may tell you to do it from the iCloud website but this is not possible. Politely insist on escalating the issue to a more senior person and eventually you should be able to get through to someone who can deal with this (you may have to wait for them to call you back) - you will be asked security questions and for part of your credit card number to identify yourself.
If it is more than 15 but less than 45 days you may be able to get a partial refund by the same method.

You can't. If your phone is disabled, the data has already been erased...that's the whole point of the passcode. Your only option now is:
Turn your phone off, then force it into recovery mode & restore it:
Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, iTunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. If you still don’t see the recovery message repeat these steps again. iTunes will give you the option to restore from a backup or set up as new.
