Should I re-attempt installing iOS7 on my iPhone 5?

Hello Everyone,
I am stuck. Please help. My 1st attempt to install iOS7 was unsuccessful, my phone went into recovery mode. I wasnt able to restore it back as well as it threw error 9. I had to restore it from a local store and now its running iOS 6.1.4. I figured out that I didnot have iTunes 11.1 and I had done the update OTA. Now, I have updated my iTunes and it correctly shows latest version to be iOS7. I have downloaded the latest version, but I am in a fix. I am not sure if I should attempt to update my phone again. Given that the first attempt failed and phone went into recovery mode. Please help.

HT5661 I have installed IOS7. My iphone wants a password for an old account which I had updated to a new account. I do not remember the old password. How can I change my userid on my iphone to my new user id?

Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings. This will not affect data. Remove the car speakers from the phone under Bluetooth, and remove the phone from the car stereo. After that place both devices back into pairing mode and reconnect.

I updated via my iPhone 4s. The apps were on my iPhone 4s. That's all the information that I have. The update to ios7 seems to have gone smoothly - everything else is working, phone texting, email, internet, etc. But all of the apps I had installed over the past year are no longer showing up as shortcuts. No facebook, no twitter, no espn, etc. They are all still listed in my app store as purchased, but the shortcuts and my folders are gone. Thanks.

I installed iOS7 on my iPhone and it switched my carrier, I originally had an iPhone4 for Virgin Mobile then it switched to Verizon. I don't know if the apple store will be able to fix it, but i can't use my phone and there is no carrier next to the bars, only in settings can I see that it says Verizon. I'm flustered and need help.

Try these troubleshooting steps from this article out:

Toggle airplane mode: Tap Settings, turn airplane mode on, wait three seconds, and then turn off again.
Restart your iPhone.
Ensure that your software is up to date:

Note: Some updates may require a Wi-Fi connection.
Remove the SIM Card and reinsert it. Allow the iPhone to acquire the network again.

Try another location. If a different location works, but the original location still does not, contact your carrierto report the issue.
Reset network settings: Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

DO NOT restore all settings!!!! This will require you to call and reactive your services, rendering your phone a useless brick! You will lose all contacts, photos, etc... You need to restore your phone to its last back up. Then do the update on your computer. This will resolve your issues.

Absolutely. Transfer the pictures to your iPhoto library. Deleting them from the iPhone will not affect your iPhoto library on your computer at all. The whole intent of an iOS device camera is that you should be regularly transfering things to your computer anyway, as that is your primary photo storage.

Says it all. I upgraded to IOS7 and now my iphone, which has always been able to skip to the next song using wireless bluetooth. I can't use it on my steering wheel or the controls above the heating/cooling/CD drive. Nothing. I have to unlock my iphone and manually change the song in the music app, no other way. I drive a 2013 Honda Civic... is there any solution to this? Everything was fine until today... I can still call people through my car, it's JUST the music part that is affected. Only the change/skip song functions. It's really bizarre.. any solutions?

I think the developer havent made it compatible with ios7 for iPhone. Goto App store and search for that App. you will have an option to contact developer or report an issue. Good Luck

I am not able to install IOS7 in my iPhone 5!!

Having downloaded iOS 7, I am not able to install it, it always throws an error saying "Verification failed because you are no longer connected to internet" in spite of High Speed internet at office! I tried several times!

I haven't tried it before, but Blueme is the most searched. For me, is useless to share information by bluetooth, it is a mess to share...
I am sharing protos by chat apps. Music and ringtones I just download them from internet and sync with iTunes. If some friend want a music of mine, I just tell him the title and/or band and he download by himself...

Same thing happening with me.....
Yesterday, I started installing ios7 on my iphone 4. It started off but due to some reason, unfortunately the power cord got disconnected, so i think the process of installation and the booting...didnt complete.
Now the final screen when i start my phone after hard booting as well is THE APPLE LOGO with a line of progress underneath..... ......even after hard rebooting again and again .....what should i do??????
I tried connecting it to itunes but it says that ios7 is already installed on your device but nothing is working out......guide!!!!!!!!!!

IPhone 4s email sending no longer works after installing ios7

Installed ios7 on my iPhone 4s and now email is completely fouled up. I have deleted all accounts and reset them, have turned off and restarted my phone severeal times, Oddly enough I can receive email, but when I try to answer I get the message "Cannot send mail - the recipient was rejected by the server". I have checked all of my settings and they are correct (use the same settings on my computer and iPad, which work fine). Same problem when I try to move messages to trash - I get the message "Unable to move message".

Try switching the "Block cookies" setting in Safari from "Always" to "From third parties and advertisers" and then reboot. This worked for me without having to reload iOS7 or reset all settings. Good luck.

Battery drain after installing IOS7 on Iphone 4

I have recently installed IOS7 on my IPhone 4.
The battery drains really quickly even when I am not doing anything with the phone. I never had these problem before updating.

I have also noticed what appears to be decreased battery life after the upgrade, though not this bad. Seems many people are noticing problems.
I noticed and changed a couple of settings that seem to have helped.
- first, fully shut off the phone and then turn it back on - i read online this helped some, immediately after the update.
- in mail settings, for the icloud account (I dont use this but it was configured by default) check the sync settings . it defaults to push, which takes more power. you might want to disable push and set to fetch for this and any other accounts you have, for additional power savings
- in settings, location services, scroll to the bottom and tap system services : All of them are defaulted to on. I turned off location-based iads and setting time zone since i dont need those. (I also opted out of the diagnostics and usage as part of the setup, but it was set to on in this screen - i left it on for the time)
- also in settings -- location settings: check the list of apps and verify that only the ones you want, are enabled
These few settings seem to have improved things
