Should I re-install photoshop and adobe apps

Hello,
I have Mac pro, and i previously installed leopard on a 2nd hard drive. I re-installed my FCS Pro on it. I was wondering do I need to re install photoshop and all my adobe software on my new drive with leopard? I was able to run my previous version of photoshop. i haven't fully tested it though. will there be problems in the long run. or??

Just because you're doing something doesn't mean Adobe supports it. None of the Leopard related fixes they have released are applicable to anything prior to CS3.
To quote the source:
"While older Adobe applications may install and run on Mac OS X Leopard, they were designed, tested, and released to the public several years before this new operating system became available. You may, therefore, experience a variety of installation, stability, and reliability issues for which there is no resolution. Older versions of our creative software will not be updated to support Mac OS X."
And regarding Photoshop CS2 specifically:
"Likely to encounter issues for which there is
no resolution. "

Well, the quick summary that you are not going to like: This system is pretty short on RAM and processor power, your graphics driver is outdated and you are using two screens with different resolutions, which eats up all graphics acceleration plus your card has only 256 MB of VRAM in the first place, which doesn't meet the requirements. You will never be able to use 3D under those conditions.

If I buy a new hard drive reinstall my OS and Adobe apps, will this count as installing on 2nd comp?

If I buy a new hard drive, or format my current one and reinstall my OS and Adobe apps, will this count as installing on a 'second computer'? If so, how then do I go about ACTUALLY installing the apps on a second computer if I'm unable to 'de-register' the 'first' one because it was on an old hard drive?

Yes! you can simply go ahead and deactivate the product before wiping your hard drive. This would simply reset the counter back to 0 and you will be able to activate the product on the new machine as well .

I just installed Photoshop and the menus are tiny, unusable

I just installed Photoshop and the program interface is tiny, I need a magnifying glass to see the menus. Windows 8. All my other apps installed fine. Why would Photoshop do this?
It's basically unusable.

Thanks for moving this topic...I couldn't find it in the Photoshop General Discussion though, so I'm replying here. I managed to find a workaround (not a solution). After finally finding another text adjustment setting*, and despite warnings from my computer, I was able to find a resolution combination that worked, and made Photoshop look normal. I looked at my other (almost identical) laptop where Photoshop IS working and used that resolution.
(Why couldn't a single support person from four companies, in hours of chats and calls, think of that?) After changing the resolution, things got huge, but a popup came up saying 250%, which altered me. I changed it to 125%, then all was good.
(* the "windows 8 display setting screens do not show this adjustment, you have to go to another control panel window to see the text adjustment....Windows 8 is so cryptic.),
Hopefully this will save some other ******* days of headache. Unfortunately I can't run at my new laptop's resolution but at least I can get back to work.
Default setting - 3200x1800 250% text size
New setting - 1600x900 125% text size
Maybe Adobe could fix this problem. All my other Adobe apps look fine at 3200x1800.

I have the same question. It seems that Adobe is almost impossible to contact (I ended up here at the forums to ask the same question).
I will never buy another Adobe product again if I can get another program to replace it. If this is customer service then it is NON EXISTENT!
I notice that your question has not been answered and why should you have to get the information from a forum? I know of no other company that makes you do this for simple product information.

Problem installing Photoshop and Illustrator during installation CS4

During the installation of CS4 on my Vista computer, i get an error saying: cannot install Photoshop and Illustrator. I've already tried to use the CleanCS4 program and other cleanup programms to clean up my registry but nothing has helped. Computer is 4 months old and there is plenty of memory.

Or, how many of your computers can have a same purchased activated serial number at the same time for either of these products?
If the former, I know of no limit.
If the latter, the answer would be as John as mentioned.

You can't. Any version before Creative Cloud does not support high-DPI displays and that is just that. If you cannot adjust the system's screen resolution and so on, then there is nothing you can do.
