Should I see photos and other images on iPad Notes ?
Using OS X Mountain Lion.
I use Notes to keep all sorts of stuff including photos and snippits (clipped from web). The notes sync to my iPad via iCloud but I can't see the images - just a paperclip which does nothing. Am I demanding more from IOS Notes than it is supposed to provide?
I have the same question. I've been trying to figure this out too. The clippings show up in Mountain Lion, under notes, but not on the iphone. Only the paperclip...Just want to know if I should keep relying on Evernote for this...Thanks

I didn't back up as I have changed laptop recently too, so the last back up time was long time ago.I updated on iPad. As I had new laptop, so I didn't back up anything on the new laptop, the old one was long time ago, so photos taken recenlty had all gone. Well, the obvious advice is to restore your mac's backup to the new drive - I assume you've been using Time Machine.

For photos, sync the iphone to the mac vis iTunes/USB and get the photos back into iPhone on the mac. Getting back the itunes is another problem. You can look for mac apps that read an iOS device and copy songs to the mac. But that won't get back all the other information that iTunes used to have. Again, only a backup would restore all that data. As for purchased items from the iTunes store, use the mac and connect to the store via itunes and check the purchased tab or link. There you can redownload all purchased music and other items. -
My iPhone 5s on ios 8.1.2 is stuck at Apple logo or recovery mode.. To fix this issue, i need to update it to ios 8.2 through itunes.. I want to ask that my data i.e. Photos and other personal data would be removed after updating it or not..?
if yes then how can i save my data or get out of recovery mode.. Is there any safe mode or something like that on which i could access my data..
P.S. I have not taken any backup of my iPhone on itunes..
Please help me sort out this issue..Recovery mode doesn't mean that all your data is already lost. You only lose your data if you restore it.
When you plug the phone is into iTunes hold down the home button. iTunes may then give you the option JUST to update the software first. This should not get rid of any data.
However, if iTunes is only giving you the option to RESTORE and update, then you will lose your data I'm afraid.

Yes you can. In iPhoto create a Album with the photos you want in it. You can drag them from your Events folder. In iTunes with your iPad connected go to Photos by cliking on your iPad. You can then select the album or events you want. -

i lost data worth 2 months when i was updating the ios7 software on my iphone 5 .....
unfortunatley i forgot to perform a backup in that time span as well....
is there a way of recovering txt msgs photos and other saved data from a particular span? without backups?Without a backup there is no way to recover data.
Seems you've learned a valuable lesson about how important it is do regularly backup the device. -

I've a problem with sync of photos and others. When I sync music or videos in iTunes (I've 7.5) it runs perfect, but when I want to sync photos, contacts or bookmarks it doesn't function. On iPod there is still Sync in Progress and in the iTunes there is Syncin "..." ...
Where's the bug?Hi there. I'm having the same problem: my iPad won't import some photos from a folder, saying that they can't be read. They are all JPEGS and some photos taken at the same time have synched fine, but out of a folder with 200 photos, it only lets me synch 37. I'm synching albums created via Photoshop Elements 6, which has worked fine until now.
I've tried deleting all photos and re-synching, and have also deleted the iPod Photo Cache, but it hasn't made a difference.
The iPad auto-updated to the latest version of iTunes, so maybe that's what's causing it?

I bought the photoshop install online and I put it on my laptop. But now I have a new and better computer for photo and video but I can not figure out how to reinstall my photoshop on this new computer. When I bought it, they said I would be able to install it on 2 different computers. PS they are both PC computers.

How do I back up photos and video in my iPad?
Just bought my iPad Air.
I installed iTune in my laptop (PC) and would like to back up all the photos and video in my iPad to my computer so that I can free up space.
I cannot find way to do it within iTune application.
Can you suggest how to backup my iPad photos and video?

You need to determine if your G5 has PCI, PCI-x or PCIe slots and then purchase the appropriate cards.
However, Final Cut Studio 2 is optimized for the Intel processors. You will see users here and there using the newest models G5 with great success but quite honestly, you need a Mac Pro.
Or just purchase the Aja IO/HD which is a firewire 800 interface and the only firewire device that will preview externally Color. -

Search the App store - there are dozens of scanning apps available for free or fee. But read the description carefully or visit the developer's site as some may not be great for photo's, and especially for negatives (many seem optimized for scanning paper images or documents).
P.S. you might want to experiment with searches in the App store - using "film scanner" brings up different apps than just using "scanner" does - there do seem to be at least some apps specifically intended for scanning films and negatives. -

I tried troubleshooting plugins, none appeared to be causing the problem.
I installed 36.0.1, but no difference. Went back to 36.0.4, still no change.
I ran a malware check with Malwarebytes, no change.
A past thread here suggested deleting localstore.rdf, which I tried, no result.
People have had this problem in the past. No one has any idea of how to fix it? -
I am trying to clear space on our iPad. If I delete photos and videos on the iPad, will they remain saved on our iCloud account? Need the space, don't want to lose the photos!
They will be backed up only until you backup again. iCloud is not a storage drive in the sky, it is a backup service only. If you delete the photos and videos from the camera roll, and then you backup the iPad with iCloud, you will overwrite that backup and the photos will be gone.
Import the photos to your computer if they are that important to you. iCloud is for backup only, not a storage place that you can download your photos from again once you overwrite that backup.
